1. Turn the mit oveq, and remove the battery compartment cover
2. Insert the battedes, matching the batteries to the (+) and f) marks inside
the battery case.

If your TV, VCR, DVD, satellite receiver or cable box does not respond after you
have tried all the codes for your brands, or if your brmd is not listed, try senching
for your code via the Code Search Entry Method. To program your remote via the
Code Search Entry Method, follow these steps:

The Menu function on your remote is used to make changes on selected settings.
The MENU key operates in TV, VCR" DVD and DBS Modes. Each menu vdies
from brand to brmd.
The TV Menu is used to make changes in the TV settings, such as changing color,
channels and timers. The DBS Menu navigates through the Guide screens,to make
changes in the DBS settings, such as channel lists and passwords. The VCR and
DVD Menu makes changes through the Navigation screens,such as languages
and subtitles.
While in Menu Mode, these keys fmction as follows:

1. In the Menu Mode of RCA, GE and PROSCAN TVs, pressing the MENU key selects
the highlighted item. The numeric keys nay also be used to select the menu choice.
2. For SONY conponents, pressing the ENTER key while in Menu Mode returns
to the prevlous menu.

The RCU704 has a SLEEP key, which automatically turns off your TV at a duration
you choose from 1 to 99 minutes. To set the Sleep Timer, follow these steps:
