Just Say Jo!

You may know me from such articles as the Wired Mag June 2000 cover story http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/8.07/ or the December 1 2003 Die Zeit newspaper article http://www.zeit.de/2003/50/Cypherpunks on pirates. Aaarrrrrrr!

Oh also, User:Cjensen is an ass.

Some cool places I've been to:
The Principality of Sealand
The Lake District in northwest England
Helsinki and its small neighbor, Espoo
Amsterdam, and not for the obvious reasons
The Kitselas Indian reservation on beautiful Vanouver Island
Lots of little Caribbean islands like Scrub Island, part of Anguilla, Nevis, Aruba, etc.
Tokyo
Belize
A few local hidden spots on Maui like Livewire Cafe for a net fix and banana bread, the black sand beach along the Hana Highway, and the snorkeling/kayaking site near Wailea where you can swim with the turtles (and sharks!)
and of course the city so great, they named it twice, New York, NY

Some places I'd like to go:
Lapland in the Finnish Arctic circle
Dominica's Papillote mini-resort
Hong Kong is a must at some point
The husband is thinking of buying a hotel in Phuket
; should I go along?
Vietnam
Someday, I'd like to own a little place in the area around Florence
