Requests for assessment

Editors can self-assess articles against the five B-class criteria^(FAQ) up to and including C-Class. If you have made significant improvements to an article against one or more of B-class criteria and would like an outside opinion on a new rating for it, please feel free to list it below, specifying which criteria you have worked on. If you feel unable to assess against one or more of the B-class criteria, please say so when posting. Requests for formal A-Class review should be made at the review department. Please consider entering articles you have improved in the military history article writing contest.

Experienced assessors are encouraged to take a look at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history/Coordinators#AutoCheck report for November and check a few of ≈ B-Class assessments. Feel free to downgrade them if you consider they don't meet one or more the criteria. Please also delete any that you have checked. See also Wikipedia:WikiProject Spaceflight/Assessment, whose articles often overlap with military history topics.

• Battle of Thorgo the article was lowered to C-class from B after the GAN failed, Have fixed done most of the problems, it was also Copy-editeD. Is the article now ready for another nomination ? What seemed to me the Reviewer failed it on the basis of Sentence structure and the source. Thanks Rahim231 (talk) 04:19, 25 November 2024 (UTC)

Comment: A few capitalization probems may remain. Needs to be read again to be sure changes covered reviewer's issues. I will review this more carefully in the next day or two as I have more time unless someone assesses it earlier. Donner60 (talk) 08:38, 26 November 2024 (UTC)

• Beechcraft BQM-126: New article. Not too much to be said on this one, but should check all the boxes for B, at least technically? - The Bushranger _{One ping only} 04:41, 27 November 2024 (UTC)

  B class. Does check the boxes, including more than one sentence lede. There may be a few assessors who would continue C rating even though an article is notable and as complete as it can be. I think otherwise, although if anything can be added, that would improve the article. Donner60 (talk) 20:12, 30 November 2024 (UTC)

• Transocean Air Lines Flight 942: New article too. Somewhat related to military since this is a flight which transported military personnel. A nice and neat article, but it can use some improvement. 🍗TheNuggeteer🍗 (My "blotter") 09:21, 27 November 2024 (UTC)

  Bot beat me to it and rated it B. I agree. Similar to Beechcraft BQM 126 assessment. Additions would improve it, of course. I agree with military history designation since it was a military charter and passengers were Army Air Force servicement. Donner60 (talk) 20:17, 30 November 2024 (UTC)

  I would not object to adding dates to the title. They could distinguish the topic from the hypothetical article on Italian occupation of the eastern Adriatic shore during the WWII similar to Hungarian occupation of Yugoslav territories. I'm not sure if such an article is likely, but Peacemaker67 might have an idea.--Tomobe03 (talk) 10:38, 1 December 2024 (UTC)

• 1993 reviews of the British honours system, I wrote this a few years ago but it's currently tagged as b5=no. It has several images, good enough for B? - Dumelow (talk) 21:38, 1 December 2024 (UTC)

• National Hospital Service Reserve. A more recent one of mine. The bot assess it as missing B class on coverage but it includes everything I could find on the organisation so seeking a second opinion here - Dumelow (talk) 21:40, 1 December 2024 (UTC)

• Hard Rock (exercise). The bot wasn't happy on referencing for B-class but I think it's fully referenced. Would welcome any feedback - Dumelow (talk) 21:42, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
