Suspected sockpuppets

User:LibDutch's sockpuppet is User:ArabUAE. He seems to have created it the yesterday when he thought he was going to get blocked for edit warring. LibDutch edit wars extensively on Syrian Civil War related articles, see his talk page for evidence of this, including several notifications of edit warring in the last few days which he has deleted/hidden from his talk page. Check the edit contributions of this ArabUAE ([1]), they match up perfectly with the edits of DutchLib from yesterday, and the name is the same format. Furthermore, I believe this User LibDutch is sockpuppet master ChronicalUsual: Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/ChronicalUsual/Archive

I'm not him. I have only removed only fake warnings which came from a user that himself was doing a edit war.--LibDutch (talk) 13:58, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It wasn't a fake warning. You were the one edit warring, not that user. IPinvestigates (talk) 16:31, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Lol, look at his edit history...--LibDutch (talk) 16:36, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I concur with IP's assessment. Especially because ArabUAE's first two edits were "Dick Black (Politician)" page. On June 7th LibDutch edited that article 2 or 3 hours before ArabUAE made his first edits on that very article. Then ArabUAE immediately went to the Syrian civil war page to assist in Libdutch's edits. person.

If that wasn't proof enough, ArabUAE on the very day his account was created he edited several times on the Dutch wikipedia (nl.wikipedia.org). Outside of the English Wikipedia, Libdutch's has the most edits on the Dutch Wikipedia, where it looks like he was indefinitely banned from. In conclusion not only does ArabUAE and Libdutch share a very recent fascination with editing the Dick Black (politican) article but also the Dutch Wikipedia (nl.wikipedia.org) XxReflectionxX (talk) 00:17, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not seeing the ChronicalUsual connection. I'm pretty sure ChronicalUsual was French, and LibDutch is (obviously) Dutch. I also think it's pretty plain to see that LibDutch and IP are engaged in an edit war in which neither is blameless. -Kudzu1 (talk) 03:42, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
They have an identical style and attitude to editing (i.e. unintelligent and totally intransigent), and a similarly imperfect grasp of the English language. And while I did basically aggressively edit that one article due to LibDutch's outright vandalism, I have never used a sock puppet. LibDutch clearly has. IPinvestigates (talk) 17:01, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

As I see it, LibDutch was reverting vandalism regarding the Syrain election (I did too). The ArabUAE user may have been created to make it look like LibDutch used a sockpuppet (to get him blocked). Please, also take note of the community consensus regarding Syrian civil war articles. Editors are restricted to 1 revert per 24 hours when reverting logged-in users (not when reverting IP users).
