Dovahkiiniq acknowledged in (here and here) that his original account was Ehsan iq. And he claimed that "his contributions were removed because of anti-arab editors". Aṭlas (talk) 20:17, 21 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The two first edits were him asking Mz7 (the administrator who blocked his first sock) for his social media contacts to "have a word with him". Dovahkiiniq (the first blocked sock) was doing the same thing in arabic with another editor. Other then that, they have the same interests. Aṭlas (talk) 01:07, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Sir Sputnik: Please take a look again. There is a high probability that these two editors are the same person. They're from the same country (Iraq .iq, .iq), they're pushing the same nationalist agenda. Isn't suspicious that Arabos contacted the administrator who blocked his other sock (Dovahkiiniq) after only one day of his account creation? He would probably ask him to unblock his main account! And he used the same wording (insta or twitter or other [1], [2]) with both accounts.

@Sir Sputnik: I would also like to ask that this be looked into a bit more. Compare also the post on my talk page to this post on Doug Weller’s talk page by the sock I blocked. Combined with similar editing interests, I think there is enough for at least a check. Mz7 (talk) 21:00, 28 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Iraqi (Baghdadi) user who randomly brought up this account at User_talk:Nabataeus#March_2018. Twice admits to having been blocked on that page, so even if a different user this is still WP:BLOCKEVASION. It is worth noting that Nabataeus has been accused of socking at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Tarook97 where there is another Iraqi (Baghdadi but albeit different ISP) IP accused of socking, I don't know much about the sockpuppeteer so I can't say if they are related or not. Same IP start as the now blocked User:151.236.179.217. Mention that they were previously blocked with this edit. Perhaps a range block is in order? Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 22:24, 2 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

WeWuzPhoenicians and blocked IP 151.236.179.140 edited several times there in the same way : [3], [4], [5] and [6]. They also edited several times there in the same way : [7], [8], [9] and [10]. More, the IP got blocked 4 days ago and the account WeWuzPhoenicians was opened 4 days ago. Wikaviani (talk) 01:41, 8 April 2018 (UTC) When looking at [11], this IP seems to be also connected with Ehsan iq and Arabos, two blocked accounts, with Ehsan iq being the master sock. Therefore, WeWuzPhoenicians, Arabos and Ehsan iq are perhaps operated by a single person.---Wikaviani (talk) 04:57, 8 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Same editorial patterns. Sole interest: spreading irredentist pro-Arab unsourced/ethno-nationalist content across numerous articles.

  • On 20 March 2018, "Dovahkiiniq" (CU blocked sock of Ehsan.iq) changed the listing order of Hinduism/Islam.[13] On 22 July 2018, Kingesh tried to reinstate the EXACT same edit on no less than two occassions.[14]-[15]
  • Editor Interaction Analyzer; [16]-[17]
  • Within 5 edits, Umayyadinian knew of "Template:Historical Arab states and dynasties",[18] a page which is under heavy fire by Kingesh, Mwahaibii and other sock/meatpuppets.
  • Dovahkiiniq (CU blocked sock of Ehsan iq) used the emoticon ":/",[19] just like Kingesh.[20]-[21]
  • Arabos (CU blocked sock of Ehssan.iq) used the emoticon ":)",[22] just like Kingesh.[23]
  • Umayyadinian knew how to write complex references within 4 edits; [24]
  • Kingesh does not capitalize "i" just like MWahaiibii.
  • Kingesh was created on 28 April 2018, Umayyadinian on 28 July 2018, and Mwahaiibii on 23 January 2018.
  • Umayyadinian does not capitalize words,[25] just like MWahaiibii.
  • Kingesh uses the same troll-like commentary as blocked socks of Ehsan iq;

I am convinced that an "internet army" consisting of pro-Peninsular Arab sockpuppets and meatpuppets have entered Wikipedia, through massive off-wiki coordination. We'll get to the bottom of it. Ehsan iq has repeatedly expressed his desire to speak to people off-wiki.[26]-[27]-[28]-[29]-[30] @Wario-Man:, @Kansas Bear:, @Wikaviani:, @Attar-Aram syria:, @HistoryofIran:, @Pinkbeast:. - LouisAragon (talk) 14:53, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

UPDATE1: Just found a post of Ehsan.iq in Arabic.[31] According to Google Translate, he reveals to Viaros17 that he is Ehsan.iq, and tells him that many Wikipedia editors are hostile against Arab-related content. He also asks Viaros17 to share his Twitter, Instagram and other social media so that he can speak with him about it (!) This means that Varios17 gets informed off-wiki by Ehsan.iq to make proxy-edits on behalf of him! In another message sent by an IP of Ehsan.iq, he tells Viaros17: "Uhm... hello! It's me again, i sent you a message and a follow request on your twitter account, but you haven't respounded..."[32] This means (and confirms) that Viaros17 acts on behalf of CU blocked sockmaster Ehsan.iq on Wiki. - LouisAragon (talk) 15:20, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
UPDATE2: Fofo235 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) Also makes proxy edits for said editors on the same articles. He was recently blocked for edit-warring at Template:Historical Arab states and dynasties. - LouisAragon (talk) 15:06, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
UPDATE3: Ehsan.iq has canvassed Nabataeus as well.[33]-[34]-[35] It gets even better! - LouisAragon (talk) 15:38, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Bbb23: Aight, thanks, will keep it in mind. - LouisAragon (talk) 02:30, 8 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims. Certainly something smells here. How do they all find this template? I barely look at templates, and I've been here for years. Pinkbeast (talk) 18:00, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, i also look only rarely at templates. Curious that these users found it and edited it in the same way.---Wikaviani (talk) 18:15, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I too had to deal with the wave of new pro Arab-Nationalism accounts. It was really surprising that all those new accounts knew how to edit right after regestering and were drawn to the same articles: Osroene. Royal family of Emesa and the Palmyrene kings (Odaenathus and Zenobia). Its always the same style of editing, key words searched on google books then 5 or 6 citations pasted into an article right after writing: this (..insert a name of a king or scholar..) was Arab.-Attar-Aram syria (talk) 20:42, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • i reinstated it because it's an islamic Sultanate and that was the right order. also, i was looking up the contributions of the User "هارون الرشيد العربي" and saw the article.
  • i don't understand these interaction charts, obviously many editors have similar interests.
  • really?? the use of emotions like ":/", ":)" are one of your reasons?.
  • "Kingesh does not capitalize "i" just like MWahaiibii". should i start doing that? cause English is only my second language. :)
  • oh look! i used ":)" again... your probably right on me being a sock-puppet. that's a definitely a good reason mate.
  • "Kingesh was created on 28 April 2018, Umayyadinian on 28 July 2018". 'plays the x files music'.
  • how is "Da truth shall prevail! :D" anywhere near or similar to any of my edits?????.

i never even used the ":D" emotion in any of my edits, not that it has any importance. but it seems that you think the only ones that uses emotions like these are probably sock-puppet of Ehssan.iq...

and i am more convinced of the existence of an "internet army" consisting of pro-iranian sockpuppets and meatpuppets.

look how many "iranian driven" editors on the the history of arab states template, how did many of them just show up out of nowhere???

also, the ones who i had interactions with on this article "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arbayistan".

but who cares about them, right???. :D Kingesh (talk) 20:53, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

""Iranian driven" editors" are irrelevant. If you can defend yourself against the evidence then do so. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 20:57, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
first of all, i wasn't even called upon to defend my self, i looked up the contributions of LouisAragon and saw the investigation. i guess that's also irrelevant.
also, my "Iranian driven" editors" comment is a response to LouisAragon extremely Ironic claim.
but of course you would think that my comment is irrelevant and his isn't...
thanks for proving my point. Kingesh (talk) 21:11, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes it is irrelevant because we are discussing socks of Ehsan iq here. This is not a discussion about the nationality of editors or their "drive". I have not proven any point, but I wonder why you were looking through the contributions of another editor 🤔. Emir of Wikipedia (talk) 21:19, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
i understand that it's irrelevant, but if you do think so then why didn't you say that to LouisAragon as well?? 🤔
and you did prove my point, this is my opinion and you can choose to disagree with it.
and why not?? i was interested in his edits as i encountered him on many articles.
i even argued with him on one article when he removed the "Persian Gulf" as he obviously doesn't like or support the usage of that naming.https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Qedarite&diff=853431901&oldid=853243878
but that's also irrelevant, as i am obviously an "irredentist pro-Peninsular Arab"... Kingesh (talk) 21:34, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

i would also like to point out that even tho i am a new editor, not all my edits are "pro-Arab", i am not always driven by my interests on Wikipedia.

Just like every account of Ehsan iq, this account have a narrow interest of pushing pro-Arabian propaganda. He appeared in June and immediately found his way to the page of Syrians and only edited there. He knew to source, use the talk page, and revert, despite having just creating the account.

1- A common trait of Ehsan's account is a user page that have a very short sentence or on letter. Look here for example

  • The user page of Nacirian have the letter K, only. K
  • The user page of one of Ehsan's puupets, Umayyadinian, have the same: K

2- Ehsan is a pro-Arabian ethnic warrior from Iraq. If we take a look at Nacirian's edits in Arabic Wikipedia, we will see that he is editing from Iraq as well. you can see one of his edits, where four of the google books links are ending with .iq. The only one not ending with .iq ends with .ch (Switzerland) indicating that might be using fake IPs or so.Attar-Aram syria (talk) 19:55, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

3- The puppet Kingesh thanks the editors who are against him and say: thanks for proving my point.

Nacirian have the same sentence always: thanks for proving my point.

4- I should add that both Nacirian and Kingesh have the style of seperating their replies with new lines. So, they will have every sentence in an independent line. The diffs above (that attest for the "thanks for proving my point." sentence) also prove the commenting style of seperating sentences with new lines.--Attar-Aram syria (talk) 20:04, 22 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

This needs CU attention I think. The listed account bears many similarites to earlier blocked socks + sockmaster. And literally just ~ 2 weeks after the last sweep? Peculiar to say the least. - LouisAragon (talk) 02:32, 23 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
