This redirect will seldom be historical accurate as it is retargeted each year. AzaToth 16:19, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • Speedy keep this is one of the most used redirects on Wikipedia with a large number of incoming internal links, probably as many external ones, and over 119 thousand hits in March (119 would be a large number for typical redirect), indeed it was the 7054th most visited page on Wikipedia that month. The concerns about accuracy seem unfounded as it has never been neglected to be updated since it became a redirect in mid-2005 and has not even been vandalised since 2007. • Wow...does someone really propose deleting a redirect that's ideal for stable use in browser bookmarks? Having to edit the bookmark annually seems like quite the unnecessary hassle! Wholeflaffer (talk) 18:40, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  • Speedy keep. I have been changing the redirect to the correct year every year on January 1 for the last couple years, and plan to do so as long as I am available; and even if I'm not, someone else will I'm sure, almost as quickly. Recent deaths is easier to type than Deaths in 2011. Academic Challenger (talk) 19:34, 29 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
