I have a suspicion this was written by the promoter. It has had no references since 2010 and I find nothing significant when I did a google search. ツStacey (talk) 21:42, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Comment. I found (and added) one substantial source, a 2009 profile in The Jerusalem Post (available on HighBeam), also published in somewhat different form in The Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles. He is a successful songwriter, and searches under the name "Shep Solomon" turn up a variety of briefer mentions in music publications and elsewhere, such as [1][2][3][4]. There also appears to be another, more substantial profile of him in the June 7, 2003 Music Week [5], but it's available only via the HighBeam Business library, which isn't included in HighBeam's Wikipedia access program, so I can't read the whole thing. Delete Couldn't find information on sufficiently reliable sources. Has co-written several notable songs but over all not notable enough to warrant their own page. Doesn't meet WP:COMPOSER. DeviantAttitude (talk) 14:28, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Keep - The coverage of him in depth by both The Jewish Journal of Greater Los Angeles and Music Week in particular seem to make him pass above the notability bar, beyond just the slight mentions in numerous other publications. His association with various successful songs appear, at least, significant if not strictly notable. The article may need to be fundamentally re-written, yes, but that's not a particularly good reason for deletion. CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 06:29, 13 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
