The result was keep. The article has also been moved to the title with the correct capitalisation (this required a history merge). – filelakeshoe (t / c) 🐱 13:38, 18 October 2021 (UTC)

- Procedural close: No valid rationale for deletion; nominator is proving themselves to be an increasingly problematic user, as they have begun many errant AfDs over the past week. Curbon7 (talk) 15:37, 10 October 2021 (UTC)

- Move to 2018 Winter Olympics opening ceremony to conform to standard capitalization for these ceremonies. There isn't much in this article now, but we know exactly when all the real content will be available. As a second choice, redirect to 2022 Winter Olympics#Opening Ceremony. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 17:00, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
- Speedy Keep, nom hasn't present any valid rationale for deletion.Rexh17 (talk) 19:13, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
- Keep, there is no reason for deletion. Pretty much every opening ceremony and closing ceremony for an Olympic Games has its own page. While there isn't much info now, info can be added as we move along, especially since the games are only 3 and a half months away. Jjfun3695 (talk) 19:45, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
- Redirect to 2022 Winter Olympics#Opening Ceremony, as Metropolitan90 said. Plutonical (talk) 20:20, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
- Weak Keep/Move I think that there is an argument to be made for WP:TOOSOON, but this is not argued by nom and as others have stated it is happening relatively soon. I do support moving the article if kept to conform with naming as stated by Metropolitan90. snood1205(Say Hi! (talk)) 21:26, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
- Keep WP:IDONTKNOWIT is not a proper deletion rationale. Nate • (chatter) 01:07, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
- Speedy Keep The capitalization should probably be changed but it's clearly notable. Smartyllama (talk) 15:43, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
