Not sure what was unconstructive about my edits to this article? Did you mean to warn another user? Louis Waweru  Talk  01:35, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi, sorry about that. I am currently preparing to begin an entry for Ashland Theological Seminary. It should be up there shortly. I feel like a tourist (talk) 01:37, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Are you using a bot?

I think it may be acting up. My reverted edits and ricecakes were actually undoing vandalism. Louis Waweru  Talk  01:51, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Please double check what huggle is saying. Many of your recent edits are restoring vandalism. Louis Waweru  Talk  02:03, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

- Hey, no offense, but I'm a bit confused as to why my recent change of "your" to "one's" (as first and second pronouns are awkward in encyclopedic tone) was reverted as possibly unconstructive. I'm going to assume it stood out in the recent changes because I didn't bother to log in for a one-word edit, which was probably another oddity, and that you are using a (semi)automated process; I'm not blaming you for distrusting an random anonymous edit (My fault there - I should write summaries more often, but I usually don't bother for small passing corrections while reading/researching), just thought I'd point that out to you. I changed it to "a patient's" to match the rest of the article, because, as a reader without this condition described, it's not "my" midsection being talked about. ~_^  --Cartoonmaster (talk) 02:03, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Edit: Actually, on second thought, that last part by the last anon. user is actually quite superfluous/redundant (For one, your stomach is obviously in your mid-body section, and two, this article focuses on the stomach. That's probably the reason why it looks so out-of-place and unprofessional there..) after I reread the context and edit history. The glaring reference to me, the reader, ("you") was what bothered me there, and I sought to fix that when the phrase might as well be removed as a whole. Nevertheless, I thought I'd drop a line to let you know.

P.S. - A convenient edit conflict between the time I posted the above section and my realization upon review of the article is the reason why my post appears down here below the post or two above, hence the retroactive (original) post time. Don't mind me, I'm being...actually, pretty unconstructive tonight myself, so far as homework progress goes.. ^_^; And with that, I'll go off and try not to continue my day's missing of details/directions and redoing previous unnecessary effort to bring me back to where I started. >_>;  --Cartoonmaster (talk) 02:30, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi Cream!

First I want to thank you very much for so diligently and kindly following up on likely vandalism. Your efforts are very much appreciated!

Second, I just wanted to check in with you regarding a recently assessed "unconstructive" edit of the Anussati article that you reverted with a uw-huggle1 note -- just so you're aware of my adding to your effort. FWIW, after reviewing the reverted edit and its claims, I've deduced (perhaps wrongly?) that the edit was simply misformatted (using a header preceded by three "=" signs and followed by two such signs) as well as lacking needed citations. Thus, while I'm not sure the edit meritted a user-warning, I do believe reverting it was appropriate. I've gone into more detail regarding my thoughts on this at Talk:Anussati#Four_recollections and left a brief statement following yours at User_talk:149.4.218.43. (FWIW, having likely met this anon user before [using a different IP address also from Queens College, NY, regarding similar content], I suspect he'll attempt to re-add the material tomorrow and the next day and the next ... until some form of detente is reached.)

I hope you don't mind my adding to your efforts here. And, again, thank you so much for your hard and thoughtful work. Best wishes, Larry Rosenfeld (talk) 03:29, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Colby-Sawyer

I'm sorry, I am a new user and am still just slightly confused with how Wikipedia works even after reading several how-to's and FAQs. I had asked a question[1] on how to upload that image but was still confused on how to go about it. I thought I had selected the correct license option f that was the problem. Colby-Sawyer has no seal of higher quality available online. Can you help me make the logo change sustainable? Thanks. Pellsk (talk) 16:53, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for being so biast

You know all I did was make one small paragraph in the discussion area to suggest if maybe there should be a section for those who believe in the unity of Hinduism & Sikhism and not as two seperate religions. And instead of being open minded to what I was saying you took it down becuase you thought it was unconstructive? Its just a suggestion. I mean I didnt act mean, or bad, or say anything disrespectful. I have the feeling your just someone whos so biast that you cant be open minded to my suggestion. And this is one of the many reasons why some people dont like wikipedia. Becuase people like you cant even handle one paragraph that maybe conflicts with your opinion. 71.105.82.152 (talk) 23:49, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Cream.PNG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Cream.PNG. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 12:21, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm not a new user

I appreciate that my vandalism was wrong (while a true opinion of many that screamo is rubbish) i have a problem with wikipedias all punishment approach. I had just reverted vandalism on the enter shikari page that appeared to have been there for about for days, yet i get no message saying "thankyou for reverting the vandalism on (page name), you have made wikipedia a better place" just some constructive criticism :P Blenky119 (talk) 17:19, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Be more cautious in your reverts

Please take the time to actually read my edits before you revert them.99.147.200.105 (talk) 23:52, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Re: Socks

Hi there. As I noted Kyle Falconer is probably the most blatantly vandalised. If you look at the history of the article you can see several redlinked user names, all having made similar edits. Clicking on the contributions, you can see a pattern of articles being vandalised. He (assuming it is one person, which I believe it is) has added negative original research to various Scottish bands (e.g. Sergeant (band)) and vanity edits to Real Radio (although oddly he has also vandalised that page, as well as Q96). He has also vandalised various articles on peadophile‎s and murderers (e.g. Sidney Cooke). The problem is that the guy uses a new account every day, regardless of whether or not his previous sock is blocked. Today he used several accounts, continually edit warring on the Real Radio page. I decided to request protection because today he removed almost all the content from Kyle Falconer (without simply blanking the page, to avoid triggering a bot). Putting it all back in was a lot more annoying than a simple revert. He has also started to make his changes in several edits rather than one, again making it more akward to fix. Bridies (talk) 23:58, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Hey, you might want to take a look at WP:PROD; removing the tag is the proper way to contest a PROD. Per WP:PROD#Conflicts, even if they remove it in bad faith, it's still not supposed to be re-added. Cheers, JeremyMcCracken (talk) (contribs) 19:20, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

RfA thank-spam

Zalgo/Archives2008/May, just a note of appreciation for your recent support of my request for adminship, which ended successfully with 112 supports, 2 opposes, and 1 neutral. If there's something I've realized during my RFA process this last week, it's that adminship is primarily about trust. I will strive to honour that trust in my future interactions with the community. Many thanks! Gatoclass (talk) 06:26, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

You rightly reverted User:198.53.129.181's edit to Sudoku trying to remove information that the puzzle was invented in America. I accept your apology and I will revert that page back since It was meant as a good faith edit to begin with and I'll let you know I used the edit summary for any edit that was large and complicated to let people know it is a good faith edit and to help improve that page towards keeping it true to the plot, and getting rid of unnecessary information or limiting the amount of words needed. -71.59.237.110 (talk) 01:11, 22 May 2008 (UTC)

Generally, when all that’s on an article talk page is a bunch of [[Link title[[Media:

Example.ogg#REDIRECT [[]]]]]] Strike-through text and there’s no meaningful content in the page history, you’re supposed to blank it or delete it.

Oh, never mind, you’re that little kid I saw being talked about on WP:AN/I for abusing rollback or Twinkle. Lol, okay, I’ll just ignore you, then.--VⅯNⅯNⅯV (talk) 19:15, 22 May 2008 (UTC)
