Disambiguation link notification for February 7
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Folasade Ogunsola, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Clostridium difficile. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

FK Abudu moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, FK Abudu, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Em-em talk 22:30, 25 March 2021 (UTC)I saw you placed a merge tag at Category:Nigerian obstetricians suggesting a merge to Category: Nigerian gynaecologists. This is usually done slightly differently at Wikipedia:Categories for discussion if you want to start a proper discussion about it feel free to but you should probably read through Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2017 December 10#Category:Nigerian obstetricians where this was proposed a few years ago. If you have any questions or want help with the nomination feel free to ask! --Trialpears (talk) 16:23, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Trialpears, thank you for bringing this to my notice. I have read through the previous discussion at Categories for deletion and I've gone on to remove the template even though in Nigeria, GYNs are the same as OBs unlike in some other countries. The specialty training is carried out in tandem even though one may decide to practice solely as a GYN or OB post qualification. I'll try to articulate my thoughts and consider relisting the discussion. Thank you! The Sokks💕 (talk) 19:12, 26 March 2021 (UTC)

Font tags in sig
Hi, just wondering if you would be willing to update your sig to change the font tags to span tags? The reason is that font tags are deprecated and show up at Lint errors, so it's best not to use them for new content. Thanks. -- WOSlinker (talk) 09:54, 7 April 2021 (UTC)

Devonian Wombat (talk) 03:34, 12 April 2021 (UTC)AfC notification: Draft:Omah Lay has a new comment
- Celestina007, I believe that your assertion in that draft is wrong
The draft article cannot literally be accepted because the title has been protected and you have to contact the admin who protected it to remove the protection.
If you're going to accept the draft, accept it first and an administrator will remove the protection. Best, —Nnadigoodluck███ 22:34, 14 April 2021 (UTC)- @Nnadigoodluck, for starters, it is no assertion there is literally no option of accepting it in the interface. Celestina007 (talk) 22:39, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
- FWIW, like I just told NGL, technically, the option to accept the draft is present but you literally cannot accept it even if you attempted to, I should also add that, contacting the protecting admin is a prerequisite to the article being accepted and not vice versa. Celestina007 (talk) 23:01, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
- Celestina007, it's not really about the interface allowing you to accept the draft of a title protected from creation, it's to first show your readiness to accept the draft and a willing administrator will remove the page's protection, thus allowing you to move it to the article space. That should be standard practice. —Nnadigoodluck███ 23:03, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
- I appreciate your input, but like I stated you simply cannot accept the article even if you attempted to, a notice is auto generated mandating that the article name be first unprotected, at least as far as accepting drafts at AFC that’s the standard practice. Oh? I get your POV now, you think it should be the individual attempting to accept the draft that the onus depends on? if that was your POV then it’s a matter of choice, you may or may not assume that responsibility as afc reviewers aren’t mandated to, infact it is behoove of the article creator to do so themselves. Celestina007 (talk) 23:23, 14 April 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you Celestina007 and Nnadigoodluck, I'm open to requesting unprotection from the protecting admin. Thank you. The Sokks💕 (talk) 18:33, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
- Once you can get that done, I’d be more than willing to accept the draft, I mean I was already on the verge of doing so when I saw the auto generated message saying the article name has to be unprotected first. Celestina007 (talk) 18:56, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Not ABF Pertaining The FK Abudu move to draftspace
I just happened to stumble on the FK Abudu article and it definitely looked unworthy to remain on mainspace & moved it to draft where it could be incubated. I don’t want you to assume I made the move in bad faith given your past block due to sock puppetry, it was after the move I read your talk page and saw you had being blocked previously due to sock puppetry. My advise would be for you to submit it via the AFC method & avoid creating articles for people you may have a conflict of interest with, @MrsSnoozyTurtle affixed the {{Notability}}
& {{Fanpov}}
tag on both articles & i wholeheartedly agree with both tags. The subject of the article isn’t notable per WP:ONEEVENT & the article's tone is completely off. Use the AFC method like I suggested & hopefully a good afc editor would assist you. Celestina007 (talk) 19:38, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you. I actually read the WP:ONEEVENT before creating the page and it says if their contribution was significant enough, they can get a stand alone page. But I’ll continue working on it as a draft and do the afc submission. Also, I was ‘accused’ of behaving badly not that I actually did and got blocked without investigation. I was able to appeal to ArbCom. Thank you once again. The Sokks💕 (talk) 04:48, 18 March 2021 (UTC)
- Significant enough is very much subjective & vaguely worded and does a great disservice to the collaborative project (obviously not your fault), The guidelines you should have at the back of your mind when creating such articles are WP:GNG whilst optimizing RS to show us WP:ONEEVENT doesn’t necessarily apply. If two-third of RS provided are related to specific events ie (ENDSARS) then ONEEVENT invariably applies. It’s a real tricky spot you have got yourself in. WP:TOOSOON greatly applies here too. I also noticed you have drafted the Draft:Erica Nlewedim article, which SPA's have tried to get into mainspace unsuccessfully, all of which I’ve mentioned applies to the subject of that draft article also & this is yet another tricky spot you’ve got yourself in. AGF, but another major problem here is both articles are usually areas edited majorly by the Nigerian UPE ring. I’m not sure what account name you edited with previously & I think it’s best not to even know in order for me to continue to AGF. Celestina007 (talk) 01:10, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hmm. Didn't quite come across the 2/3rd RS policy while reading up but it quite makes sense. It's rather unfortunate for me that my interests are related to Nigerian UPE circles. But any other thing will be like taking work home for me so I’d rather just stick to doing afcs and waiting for these drafts to skip the one event hurdle. Thank you. Kind regards The Sokks💕 (talk) 06:48, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- The two-third RS comment I made isn’t policy based but rather arbitrary. Invariably if more than half or a super majority of the RS do not reference the individual but the event, then ONEEVENT applies. I’m not sure if to call it inductive or deductive reasoning but it’s good you understand my POV. 1E is so vaguely worded & even contradicts itself, I’d have to start an RFC on that sooner than later but oh well like I said, GNG, and perhaps BASIC should be at the back of your mind when creating articles such as the aforementioned. It’s only wise to use the AFC process at this juncture to avoid the unnecessary stress as you implied. Celestina007 (talk) 15:00, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- Id try as much as can be to be objective but speaking freely I’m very much concerned about FK Abudu having a Wikipedia biographical piece on her because asides the fact that she isn’t notable, FK Abudu is arguably the worst case of individuals who merely want biographical pieces on them for the vanity sake of it & using Wikipedia as a platform for creating awareness for herself(promoting herself) & I have a mountain of evidence to corroborate what I just stated above, an evidence I would be sharing with functionaries only & my senior colleagues. Celestina007 (talk) 16:44, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- Most of the policies are tbh. Nothing is set in stone. Even the WP:BASIC says 'coverage in multiple published sources'. If we're being honest, multiple is more than one but then there's WP:THREE. About FK Abudu trying to get an article, I find it very surprising because I follow her on twitter and she does not come off as one of those 'showy' type of Nigerians. She comes of as 'DGAF' (excuse my French) I guess social media is really smoke and mirrors then. The Sokks💕 (talk) 17:35, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- imo the idgaf attitude is a facade. It’s a lot evidence I have but can’t be discussed on wiki as that would definitely constitute OUTING. It’s really a Catch-22 you’re currently in. Celestina007 (talk) 23:14, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- I’m sorry, but you’ve lost me there. How or why am I the one in a catch-22? The Sokks💕 (talk) 06:46, 21 March 2021 (UTC)
- Well don’t get lost. How about you scrap that last part & just follow all the instructions I have given you before then which is (using the AFC process) Cheers. Celestina007 (talk) 23:11, 21 March 2021 (UTC)

- imo the idgaf attitude is a facade. It’s a lot evidence I have but can’t be discussed on wiki as that would definitely constitute OUTING. It’s really a Catch-22 you’re currently in. Celestina007 (talk) 23:14, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
Just out of curiosity & addressing other potential problems
Hello, it seems you have a lot of insider information on and may be well connected to the Feminist Coalition so I figured you could be of help here. Let me start by addressing this(although the whole promo section has been removed by DGG and rightfully so) the problematic edit I saw you make, was you removing the redlink on Damilola Odufuwa per WP:RED that was a wrong move because they do have potential to be notable, However removing red links on subjects who aren’t notable or ever likely to be notable are welcome. Secondly, I agree that FK Abudu isn’t a founding member but what do you mean by an “auxiliary member” ? I searched their website and she appears to be listed as a member and not once was the the term “auxiliary member” used so I’m trying to understand how you came about using the term “auxiliary” is there a RS that references her with such term? or is it just an arbitrary term you came up with? If yes that would just be conjecture bothering on WP:OR. Sorry if this is a bother but giving you are an expert on the organization I decided asking you would be okay-ish. Finally this advice by you to Tygeera is premature & very ill informed and would only result in a boomerang block on them. Celestina007 (talk) 18:45, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hello @Celestina007, I do not have any insider information or have any connection to Fem Co or its members and definitely, not an expert. I really wonder how my edits point to these assertions. Anyway, About the redlink, it was an honest mistake. I didn't know about WP:RED but I've now read up on it and noted my error. The term 'auxiliary member' was used in this article. About my suggestion to Tygeera, I noted the back and forth because the page is on my watchlist and was my honest suggestion to prevent themselves from getting blocked. If it boomerangs, all well and good I guess. The Sokks💕 (talk) 19:27, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- you linked them to ANI which is extremely premature. If it boomerangs it’s definitely “not all well and good”, as we would have lost another editor. Just be more careful next time. Celestina007 (talk) 19:48, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hmm. I thought that was the usual sequence for resolution when a consensus is not reached via talk pages. This is noted. Thank you. The Sokks💕 (talk) 20:11, 26 March 2021 (UTC)
- Not quite, the ANI isn’t a platform for content dispute settlements & has never been the go to venue for content dispute resolution. The purpose of ANI is clearly outlined in WP:AN/I, id suggest that before giving advice to anyone that you yourself understand policy before doing so. Celestina007 (talk) 22:59, 26 March 2021 (UTC)

- As Celestina007 says, ANI is best avoided unless nothing else will work, and you are very sure indeed of your case. Decisions there tend to be over-hasty and unpredictable. Indeed, in my 14 years here as an administrator, I have never advised anyone to go there. And almost nobody who has gone there anyway has been the better for it (which is what Celestina means by "boomerang" . Discussion comes first, and asking for advice next. General Questions
Thanks for your new article creations pertaining to the Nigerian movie industry, I’m passionate about that and it’s good seeing another editor have the same passion. Our president Darreg (HandsomeBoy) shares the same passion but he is unfortunately absent at the moment. Having said, I still want some answers from you, I want to trust you but I need you to be honest with me. My questions are as follows, you claimed you were blocked in your last account and Arbcom gave you a new lease, fine! I do not need to know the name of your previous account. However i do need to know something else and i need you to be honest with me. what i need to know is this; Prior your previous account that got blocked, did you ever edit under a different username before that? Secondly, do you share your account with anyone, that is, do multiple users or a single user have access to your account? Thirdly have you ever received off wiki coaching from anyone? and finally have you ever received financial reward for creating articles under this account or any of your previous accounts(if the answer to this particular question is yes, please e-mail me) and I’d see to it that you do not face any consequences whatsoever. Please you aren’t mandated to answer this questions. if you do not feel like it, although, answering them would earn you my trust and most importantly that of the entire collaborative project. Thank you for your time. Celestina007 (talk) 22:06, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hey, Celestina007, saying
I want to trust you
suggests that you already don’t trust me and you haven’t AGF. In any case, May I also know why you ‘need’ to know? Even though I’m willing to answer all your questions because I obviously have nothing to hide. If you read my ‘About me’ you’ll see where it says I edited Wikipedia right out of high school and I hadn’t edited till January 2021. Only I use this account, I haven’t received coaching (to what end?) and I haven’t received financial rewards. Pray tell, do the nature of my edits suggest that I’m being rewarded financially or otherwise? Because this is not the first time you’re making such an insinuation. Interesting to note that the collaborative project does not trust me. The Sokks💕 (talk) 22:42, 23 May 2021 (UTC)- I’m sorry if that came off as offensive, it wasn’t my intention. Generally when editors edit in areas that have been heavily edited by undisclosed paid editors, for example editing in areas such as the participants of the Nigerian version of the Big Brother reality Tv series it draws the attention of anti spam editors, & in this case, it was the Erica Nlewedim you attempted to create in your earlier days which was predominantly edited by socks and undisclosed paid editors (who have all now been blocked thus the ”need” for me to know. However, your response makes it clear that you are offended by the question thus i wouldn’t press it any further and once again, I’m sorry for the inconvenience this question may have caused you. Celestina007 (talk) 23:01, 23 May 2021 (UTC)
- Hey, I'm the least bit offended, just bemused. You've asked me about having a conflict of interest with FK Abudu and FemCo and mentioned having
a mountain of evidence
which I assume the evidence has been submitted to functionaries and determined I'm not the editor in question. You also referred to the Erica Nlewedim article at the time which I mentioned I was going to wait till the WP:ONEEVENT hurdle is crossed which can be seen in my rationale here. I have also noted your assertions [1] [2] [3] here which I see as attempts at poisoning the well. You probably only see socks and UPEs which are most likely just her fans who want to see their favourite excel. I applaud your valiance in fighting UPE and the like in Nigeria because in my short time here, I've noted my fair share of vandalism and both covert/overt paid editing. Brilliant new article about NdaniTV. The company was a star of Wikipedia as for many years it published its material on line with a free to use license. Look at the great set of pictures that are available on line that came from NdaniTV. Sadly their policy changed but a great contribution to open info for Nigeria. Keep up the great work. Victuallers (talk) 09:16, 27 February 2021 (UTC) |
- @Victuallers Thank you for the kind words and for the wikilinks. I'll take a look at the pictures. Really do appreciate the support. The Sokks💕 (talk) 10:05, 27 February 2021 (UTC)
Successful appeal
I am just formally noting that the editor behind this account has had an appeal accepted by the Arbitration Committee. This account had not been blocked so I cannot note it in the block log. Maxim(talk) 20:11, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

I do appreciate your in-depth understanding of the Wikipedia deletion and notability standard, plus your effort to reflect every bit of this knowledge on a certain article that has been selected for deletion, but under certain conditions, meets the requirement for notability articles.
I really appreciate the fact that you have strongly pointed out those conditions. Keep doing what you are doing. TJO28 (talk) 22:55, 31 May 2021 (UTC) |
- Thank you for this. I won't say my understanding is 'in-depth' but I'm trying to be an advocate for Nigerian-related articles with merit. This is also a coincidence because I just started cleaning up the article. Kind regards. TheSokks(talk) 23:25, 31 May 2021 (UTC)

What are your thoughts on the notability status of Nelson Enwerem? That is “Prince” from the big brother reality Tv show, juxtaposed with Erica Nlewedim, do you find it bizarre that Prince has a biographical piece on them but Erica Nlewedim doesn’t? What are your thoughts? I’m asking as to know how well you have internalized WP:GNG, so what are your thoughts? Celestina007 (talk) 20:26, 5 June 2021 (UTC)
- Definately not bizzare. Prince was Mr. Nigeria. TheSokks(talk) 05:17, 6 June 2021 (UTC)
- @TheSokks, very good. You are learning how GNG works. Celestina007 (talk) 05:28, 6 June 2021 (UTC)

received significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject
, not who won or who lost. TheSokks(talk) 05:32, 6 June 2021 (UTC)- neither of the aforementioned won. So come again? or? ever mind, I’ve gotten the answer I was looking for. Celestina007 (talk) 13:33, 6 June 2021 (UTC)
