"archivation"
The word you are looking for is probably "archiving" or "archival." :) Newyorkbrad 00:27, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! I didn't bother to change it after I typed it because sometimes I like interesting word usements. (Wow, this page didn't stay clean for long!) Agent 86 00:29, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

My RfA
Thank you for support in my unsuccessful RfA. I appreciate the support, and am disappointed on being judged by what in most opinions seem to be the wrong things. Until next time, edit on! :) — RevRagnarok Talk Contrib 03:31, 24 March 2007 (UTC)

An edit
Hi there a edit you made redirects Friendship festival to Simico Ontario. I strongly advise in reverting this (which i will probably do) as the festival itself is notable. The Festival Project in wikipedia is currently working hard to improve such articles with lack of content; however since the project is still fairly new, and our members are still quite low; we cannot attend to all articals at once. if we find that the artical cannot be expanded or holds little information, we will put to vote to see what happens to the article. Since this is the case please allow us some time to work with the article after its been renewed. Maverick423 13:24, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
After further searching there appears to be little data for this festival, however there is a festival with more data on it with the same name. i will use this page to imput that data into it, so as to not make another one. Thanks for your time. Maverick423 13:38, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
List of pubs
As someone who has contributed to the talk page discussion on List of publications in philosophy and/or that article's previous deletion debate, I thought you might be interested in participating in its new nomination for deletion which can be found here. Thanks. - KSchutte 17:30, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
Template:pnc nominated for deletion
See Wikipedia:Templates for deletion/Template:pnc for the discussion, which will certainly spill over into larger issues. Your thoughts would be appreciated. --Kevin Murray 23:21, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
My recent RfB
Thank you so much for your participation in my recent RfB. Though it closed with 72% support (below the required 90%), I'm still quite pleased at the outpouring of support shown by a fair percentage of the community.
I'm currently tabulating and calculating all opposing and neutral arguments to help me better address the community's concerns about my abilities as a bureaucrat. If you'd like, you can follow my progress (and/or provide additional suggestions) at User:EVula/admin/RfB notes. Thanks again! EVula // talk // ☯ // 04:29, 3 July 2007 (UTC)
My RfB
Thank you, Agent 86, for participating in my RfB, which ended unsuccessfully with a final tally of (80/22/3). |
Thank you for your support in my Request for Adminship. Unfortunately the nomination did not succeed, but please rest assured that I am still in full support of the Wikipedia project, and I'll try again in a few months! If you ever have any questions or suggestions for me, please don't hesitate to contact me. Best wishes, --Elonka 02:25, 6 August 2007 (UTC)
C.Mulroney
I saw that you took time to vote on the Caroline Mulroney article a year ago. I am not canvassing for votes. I am just letting everyone who voted a year ago know that I have re-nominated it for deletion.DDD DDD 11:45, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
Canadian English
Could you please write a stub about Kurów in Canadian English here – just a few sentences based on http://kurow-wiki.openhosting.pl/wiki/en-us:Kurow ? Please.
PS. Article about Kurów is already in 276 languages and dialects. If your village/town/city isn't yet on PL wiki, I can do article about it. (I'm first author of requests and this article have the biggest number of interwikis) Pietras1988 TALK 12:29, 23 February 2008 (UTC)
- I would think the existing article would suffice. If something's written in American english, it's pretty much okay for "Canadian" english. A lot of Canadians will spell things the American way for the most part. In any event, I can't see anything in Kurów that I'd have written differently. Agent 86 (talk) 02:42, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
- OK, thanks for info. Pietras1988 (talk) 11:24, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
Youth Parliament of Canada
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Youth Parliament of Canada, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}}
to the top of Youth Parliament of Canada. 72.53.79.42 (talk) 22:29, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

RFA deletion
Given that you declined the nomination at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Agent 86 I've deleted the page since it shouldn't count against you should you decide to run for RFA in the future. MBisanz talk 02:59, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
David Cameron
I see you edited his article to remove some tabloid rubbish about his wedding guests. Do you have an opinion on whether the family wealth of his boyhood friends is relevant in an encyclopaedia? There is a discussion on his talk page regarding mention of his trip to America with the Getty family. Talk:David_Cameron#Trip_to_USA_with_Getty Beganlocal (talk) 23:38, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

You are now a Reviewer
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 02:23, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Image DFU reverts
Thanks.
On a related note, If you come across something tagged as {{Short-Rationale}} (which is what I've tried to replace some of my less than optimal DFU taggging of recent note), please note that it says explicitly that it's not a deletion notice of itself, however that said, if images so tagged actually meet NFCC, then feel free to remove the template :) Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:17, 7 July 2010 (UTC)

Mel Gibson
His DUI has an article. It is fun to read but much the subject that a tabloid would cover. Should this be covered just by the fact that he was arrested and there was controversy over anti-Semetic comments? I agree that there is much tabloid coverage about it but if Wikipedia is a serious encyclopedia, it's questionable whether it fits. TeacherA (talk) 23:47, 9 January 2011 (UTC)
Northwest Regional Airport (Terrace - Kitimat)
After looking at http://www.yxt.ca/ should it not be at Northwest Regional Airport Terrace-Kitimat or Northwest Regional Airport, Terrace-Kitimat rather than Northwest Regional Airport (Terrace - Kitimat). I noticed that the official site mainly uses Northwest Regional Airport but that's a disambiguation and Northwest Regional Airport Terrace-Kitimat seems to be the second most used. Cheers. CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 02:47, 23 March 2011 (UTC)
- According to Transport Canada, its official name is "Northwest Regional Airport". As there is an airport in the US with the same name that name could not be used for the article (see the disambig page Northwest Regional Airport). There are a couple reasons to go with the city names in parentheses. One, it makes it clearer that the city names are not part of the airport's name, unlike some of the other alternatives. Second, it follows the same format as the other airport with this name, which provides consistency in naming the articles.Agent 86 (talk) 19:03, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
The burden of proof lies with you to demonstrate that the images are warranted- please stop edit warring, and take the issue to the talk page if you still disagree. Also, please be aware of the three revert rule. I'm sorry, but I don't think the guidelines say what you think they do. Non-free image should not be used on lists of people just to show what they look like; we are perfectly able to understand the fact that they were GG without seeing a picture of them. It does not significantly increase reader understanding, which is what non-free content criterion 8 is all about. J Milburn (talk) 12:23, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
- I have had to deal with the copyright cabal in the past and it's best not to argue with them. The policy they created precludes using copyrighted images in lists. You will not win this battle. --Walter Görlitz (talk) 13:57, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
- I agree, Walter. Even when they're wrong, it's best not to argue with the WikiLawyers. It's also funny how they seem to think that "edit warring" and 3RR are one-sided. ;-) Agent 86 (talk) 21:40, 31 May 2011 (UTC)
Chopped
I notice you've begun removing a few overlinks and some trivia from the Chopped article. I've long noticed that it's plagued with overlinking and loaded with trivia, and would like to give it a good cleaning up. It also needs the data organized into some sort of table. What worries me is there seems to be one editor with some ownership issues. Are you up for keeping an eye on the article, and maybe lending a hand? Drmargi (talk) 01:30, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
- I've had this one on my watch list for a while. I think a few "notes" that relate to a unique aspect of an episode that is of significance; however, I agree that some of the "notes" verge of trivia, so some clean-up is probably warranted. I don't know if it really needs to be turned into a table or significantly re-organized. I find that those "list of" television episodes that are heavily table-ized are unpleasant to read, but that's really a style and personal thing. As for "ownership" issues, I suspect I know what you're getting at, so I'm happy to watch on that as well.Agent 86 (talk) 05:31, 18 June 2011 (UTC)
