While I am currently a university student residening in the Columbia metropolitan area and many of my sources come from the various institutions and libraries in the area, my views are my own.
I do not contribute to Wikipedia in the name of the University of Missouri's mission or their goals. This goes for all the other institutions I get my information.

About me
[edit]When I first joined Wikipedia, I intended to keep my identity private. However, due to assumptions and accusations from the community, I feel it’s necessary to share a bit about myself.
First off, I’m a complicated person. But first y’all can call me CycoMa, the origin of my username is a mystery even to me. But I know I made when I was a kid.
I’ve been contributing to Wikimedia projects since 2019.
I’m currently a university student in my early twenties, expecting to earn my bachelor’s degree in 2025.(In other words, I’m a college senior.) After graduation, I plan to pursue graduate school in my late twenties.
Family history
[edit]My mother is an accountant and my father was a former journalist and soldier.
My mother came from a low income family and studied accounting to get out that situation. My father on the other hand came from a high earning family, due to his mother being a head nurse after she graduated from Washington University in Saint Louis.
My origins
[edit]I started editing Wikimedia projects as a teenager, initially as an anonymous IP editor, before creating an account much later. Before I joined the project I was like many Gen Zers, I grew up obsessed with the internet.
I attended public school. I was raised Catholic, though I later identified as agnostic because I disagreed with many doctrines. I join the Boy Scouts of America, I eventually left the Boy Scouts due to bullying. I later joined the 4-H.
When I became a teenager, I enrolled in a vocational school for engineering while attending high school. Around this time, I converted to Buddhism.
After graduating from high school, I had ambitions to attend a university on the West Coast. However, due to high living costs and scholarships, I had to enroll at a community college in mid-Missouri. During this period, I reconnected with Christianity, though not as a Catholic, I nonetheless still identified culturally with Catholicism.
The Pandemic
[edit]The COVID-19 pandemic forced me into online learning. While the extra free time helped me focus academically, it also brought feelings of loneliness. The combination of these factors, alongside access to academic resources, motivated me to take Wikimedia contributions more seriously. I then became one of the most active users on the English Wikipedia.
Post-Pandemic
[edit]After earning my associate degree, I transferred to the University of Missouri and simultaneously enrolled in a liberal arts college. To my surprise, I even made the Dean’s List, though I still don’t fully understand how.
Current drafts of mine
[edit]You can freely edit them just don’t submit them without telling me.
