  1. File:Trio150 91.jpg: PROD; notified Schmidtr (talk · contribs) 04:16, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
    • Reason: Smaller/lower quality version of File:Trio350.jpg. No encyclopedic purpose to retaining both.
  2. File:2nd ammonium ion diagram.jpg: PROD; notified Mcardlep (talk · contribs) 04:25, 27 July 2018 (UTC)
    • Reason: Orphaned file consisting of text and numbers. Can be regenerated if necessary. Otherwise no encyclopedic purpose.

  1. File:"Vaporwave for China" by XWaves.jpeg: PROD; notified Kaukau.Mikoneko123 (talk · contribs) 00:53, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
    • Reason: Orphaned album art for non-notable album
  2. File:2RN RTÉ NETWORK LOGO.png: PROD; notified IrishTV (talk · contribs) 00:59, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
  3. Acidococcus: PROD; notified WillowW (talk · contribs) 05:48, 23 August 2018 (UTC)
    • Reason: This genus doesn't seem to exist and its unclear it ever did. There is no entry on the NCBI taxonomy page (the reference points to a "no results for that query" page), the external links to pubmed search et al reveal no results. It doesn't seem to be in Desulfurococcaceae in LPSN (a common taxonomy of bacteria resource). Best I can tell, it is mentioned only once in [dx.doi.org/10.1080/01490451.2010.520075 this paper], which I assume was a mistake... So I think this is a rare example of a genus article that's best deleted...

  6. File:UpperSavannahRiverGA1817.jpg: PROD; notified Hughespj (talk · contribs) 02:53, 30 August 2018 (UTC)
    • Reason: No encyclopedic purpose - This is a screencap of this item from the library of congress. The full item is already uploaded to Commons here.

[edit]
  1. File:3-D seismic tomography.jpg: PROD; notified Ayratayrat (talk · contribs) 17:55, 21 October 2018 (UTC)
    • Reason: Orphaned image with unclear copyright status (so we can't transfer it to Commons). The only source information provided is that the image is "courtesy of 3dT/NSA Engineering" suggesting at some point they would've held the copyright? It's not clear how we can verify that the uploader is the copyright holder. A request for clarification on the uploader's page 6 months ago has gone unanswered. If the copyright status of the image is unclear and it's not being used in any article, then perhaps deletion is best.
  2. File:3dollarballer vending machine.jpg: PROD; notified Shimin x (talk · contribs) 02:20, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
    • Reason: Orphaned image uploaded by account blocked as being used for advertising only. No encyclopedic use.
  3. File:5SEF - 961 StarFM.png: PROD; notified Bidgee (talk · contribs) 02:39, 22 October 2018 (UTC)
    • Reason: The old logo for Hit96.1. New logo has been uploaded to replace. No remaining encyclopedic purpose for this file.

June 2019

[edit]
  1. Malaria and the Caribbean: PROD; notified Msiegle (talk · contribs) 04:19, 7 June 2019 (UTC)
    • Reason: Unsourced personal essay on the topic. This is likely a notable topic, but there's nothing here that would be salvaged to build an article on the topic. It may be at the TNT tipping point... Ajpolino (talk) 04:19, 7 June 2019 (UTC)

[edit]
  1. Discrete nanoscale transport: PROD; notified Tuanucsb (talk · contribs) 00:34, 7 August 2019 (UTC)
    • Reason: Seems to be a neologism that never caught on. The only mentions in GScholar are two papers by the same author. The topic doesn't seem to meet WP:GNG.

  1. Near-equilibrium enzymatic flux transfer networks: PROD; notified Pta Edwards (talk · contribs) 19:05, 18 July 2020 (UTC)
    • Reason: I think this is a term that didn't really catch on. When I search Pubmed or GScholar the only hit I see is the 2003 review cited here. I don't think this topic meets WP:GNG at this time.

  1. Transcription factor II G: PROD; notified FrozenMan (talk · contribs) 20:59, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
    • Reason: I'm having trouble figuring out what this is referring to. Google and Pubmed come up mostly empty. I don't think this is a likely search term, so not sure where else to redirect. Likely doesn't meet WP:GNG.

September 2021

[edit]
  1. EBOO: PROD; notified Craig rd (talk · contribs) 20:29, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is discussed in basically no sources in the 16 years since the paper was published. I think this uncontroversially does not meet WP:GNG.

[edit]
  1. Inquiry process into registration and accreditation processes for international medical graduates: PROD; notified Chaitanyakotapati (talk · contribs) 23:45, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: It looks like this article was created to cover a discussion in the Australian parliament that ended with a report. Best I can tell this isn't altogether exceptional, it isn't the subject of lasting coverage, and I can't find evidence it's a topic that meets WP:GNG.
  2. American Academy of Craniofacial Pain: PROD; notified Eastmain (talk · contribs) 05:04, 11 October 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: To my surprise, I can find almost no independent mention of this organization. Google brings up a few lines on members' personal websites, but nothing else. Google Scholar brings up some mentions, but weirdly all of them are in a single journal called "CRANIO" which I'm assuming is somehow connected to the organization? Either way, seems like this topic doesn't meet WP:GNG.
  3. Attending physician statement: PROD; notified Mfriedel (talk · contribs) 20:09, 13 October 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: I can find very few sources that discuss this much, and none providing significant coverage. I can gather the gist of what the topic is, but not nearly enough to write an article on. I think this uncontroversially doesn't meet WP:GNG.
  4. Basal (medicine): PROD; notified Sheep81 (talk · contribs) 01:57, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is a dictionary definition. There aren't sources that discuss this topic that we could use to write an encyclopedia article. It's just a word that means what it means. Sadly, this page should be deleted per WP:NOTDIC.
  5. Biological interface engineering: PROD; notified Mmagnett (talk · contribs) 02:18, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: Best I can tell, this is a neologism that never caught on? "Biological interface engineering" brings up zero hits on Pubmed and JSTOR, and the Google hits seem like mostly mirrors and incidental uses of this word string. I suggest deletion per WP:NEOLOGISM.

August 2022

[edit]
  1. AIDS Vaccine Bike Trek: PROD; notified Spusillo (talk · contribs) 21:04, 30 August 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: I can't find any evidence to suggest this topic meets WP:GNG. I considered moving the article to the hosting organization Charity Treks, but could find hardly any coverage of them either (mostly just Google hits where the two words happen to be together) -- it seems this is the major event they put on, but it just hasn't been covered much by other sources?
  2. Allotope: PROD; notified Johndheathcote (talk · contribs) 00:05, 31 August 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Dictionary definition. The use of this term in science has fallen dramatically (check the "results by year" graph in [1]. I can't find sources to build an article off of.

[edit]
  1. Abdominal musculature absent with microphthalmia and joint laxity: PROD; notified Starzynka (talk · contribs) 21:42, 5 October 2023 (UTC)
    • Reason: Topic does not appear to meet WP:GNG. This is a single case report (the cited paper). I can't find any other literature around this syndrome. Google Scholar only notes 2 references to the original paper, the more recent of which (2011) refers to the syndrome in a table only as "Teruel, et al." again suggesting this is seen as an individual case, and not as a syndrome that has merited a name and further investigation.

  1. Cancer Prevention Institute of California: PROD; notified Fudango (talk · contribs) 17:44, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Can't find significant coverage to base the article on. Only found the article on its shuttering that I've added below. Didn't see any other coverage of Google, GScholar, or TWL's EBSCO search. Don't think the topic meets WP:GNG.
  2. World Cancer Research Fund International: PROD; notified Beta m (talk · contribs) 17:54, 26 April 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: I can't find any significant coverage of the organization on Google, GScholar, or TWL's EBSCO search. The only thing I could verify from their website was their founding date. Doesn't appear to meet our notability criteria.

May 2024

[edit]
  1. NERV (reactor): PROD; notified Splodgeness (talk · contribs) 02:36, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: I can't find significant coverage of this. Google Books or Scholar for "natural endogenous respiration vessel" come up empty. Google is mostly Wikipedia mirrors. Perhaps this topic doesn't meet our notability criteria?
  2. Rotating cell biofilm reactor: PROD; notified Sara Cortellazzi (talk · contribs) 02:47, 1 May 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: It looks like this is a product sold by a particular Italian company, rather than a broader type of machine. I couldn't turn up much coverage of it from Google, GScholar, or GBooks. I think it may not meet our notability criteria.

November 2024

[edit]
  1. File:AARP Logo2023.png (log): PROD; notified Squeaksqueakn (talk · contribs) 10:34, 14 November 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Orphaned file that's not likely to be used. We now have a vector version of the same logo on Commons. So there's no reason to move this file to Commons, and no reason to use it here over the vector version.
  2. File:ACWNEW.jpg (log): PROD; notified Saigon1968 (talk · contribs) 20:02, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Logo for an organization whose page was deleted at AfD. No encyclopedic purpose to keep here, and no educational purpose to transfer to Commons.
  3. File:Acwnew.jpeg (log): PROD; notified Saigon1968 (talk · contribs) 20:03, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Image for an organization whose page was deleted at AfD. No encyclopedic purpose to keep here, and no educational purpose to transfer to Commons.
  4. File:Abc27-dot-com-website-logo (1).png (log): PROD; notified Lovable98158 (talk · contribs) 21:44, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Orphaned logo image. A superior vector version is already on Commons (and used in our article), so no reason to upload this to Commons, and no reason to expect it will find use here.
  5. File:AD Bahia de Feira.png (log): PROD; notified Horcoff (talk · contribs) 21:54, 15 November 2024 (UTC)

  7. File:Adeka.jpg (log): PROD; notified Владлен Манилов (talk · contribs) 18:48, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Logo for an organization whose article was [[Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adeka
      |deleted at AfD]]. No encyclopedic reason to have it here, and no educational reason to upload to Commons.
  8. File:AEW 2022 logo.png (log): PROD; notified Vjmlhds (talk · contribs) 18:52, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Orphaned image. A superior vector version is already at Commons (and used in our article on the topic). So there's no remaining encyclopedic use for the file here, and no legitimate educational purpose to upload it to Commons.
  9. File:Albanese Candy logo.jpg (log): PROD; notified Linguaddict (talk · contribs) 20:48, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Orphaned image. Inferior version of File:Albanese Candy logo.png, which is already on Commons. No realistic encyclopedic use here, and no educational use to justify moving to Commons.

[edit]
  1. File:Anthony Grainger Inquiry Logo.png (log): PROD; notified Robin S. Taylor (talk · contribs) 23:07, 6 December 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Unused "logo" image. It's just the words typed in Arial font with blue color. It's not being used here, and I don't think it has educational use to justify a transfer to Commons (there's a Not Commons tag on it now, out of concern that it's copyrightable under the UK's low threshold of originality but I think even in the UK this would be too simple for copyright protection).
