Listing San Jose as the core city in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area is insanely misleading and made this list out of step with observable reality. I know San Jose has more people than San Francisco due to it's much larger land area (it covers twice as much land as SF and Oakland combined), but it is not the First Principal City of the Bay Area by any stretch. San Francisco is four times as dense, has more jobs, more commuters, more visitors, the region's major airport, is the hub of transit in the region, and is the core city of the much more populated SF-Oakland-Hayward MSA within the area. Listing San Jose as the "Fifth Most Populous" metro area is like listing New York as "Queens" since Queens has more people than Manhattan / New York. You could argue the point since it has more people than Manhattan, but it still wouldn't be correct on the merits. Either San Francisco should be listed (which is what I've changed it to) or both SF and San Jose should be noted. Cowboywizard (talk) 00:36, 18 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
