I think that Rottlander meet the notability criteria for a Wikipedia entry because of her significant role in an important German film (Alice in the Cities). ---- User:AlanPerry 20:28, 16 January 2020 (PST)
I discussed this with a representative of the Wim Wenders Foundation and she agreed that Rottlander meets the notability criteria for the same reason as I do. ---- AlanPerry (talk) 21:26, 2 February 2020 (PST)
I have discussed this with Rottlander. She has been out of the film business for decades, but is still asked to speak about her film work (as recently as this past summer). There is a general public interest in child actors and where are they now that I think this page serves. ---- AlanPerry (talk) 10:06, 13 December 2020 (PST)
There is material to cite in audio commentary that was included in the The Criterion Collection edition of Alice in the Cities as well as Wenders biographical material and interviews associated with the release of Faraway, So Close!. I am reviewing that material and will add citations after I complete that review. ---- User:AlanPerry 20:38, 16 January 2020 (PST)
I have been exchanging e-mail with Rottlander and have made updates to the page based on that e-mail. For privacy reasons, not all information disclosed in the e-mail has been included in the page. I could post the e-mail on my web site (deleting the information that she doesn't want disclosed) and cite that. ---- AlanPerry (talk) 9:50, 13 December 2020 (PST)
