There seems to be a misunderstanding. Ranzhir in russian means not "ordnance" as in "ammunition", but "order" as in "ranking". As a native speaker I believe that "ranking" is a correct translation, and "ordnance" has nothing to do with it (in russian it's "boyepripasy" - боеприпасы). Here is a russian wiktionary entry for the word ranzhir: https://ru.wiktionary.org/wiki/%D1%80%D0%B0%D0%BD%D0%B6%D0%B8%D1%80 . By google-translating it, anyone can see the meaning is "order", not "ordnance".
