LGBT rights
[edit]Hi Storm598, I see you cited LGBT rights in South Korea in the see also section. See also links have no need to be cited. If you mean to say the party supports LGBT rights in South Korea, please move this into the "Political orientation" section and expand upon it. Cheers. Helper201 (talk) 02:36, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
- I think "LGBT rights" should be described in the infobox. The decisive difference between Mirae Party and Green Party is which issue is more focused between LGBT rights and feminism. Mirae Party members are political parties led by those who left the Green Party in opposition to "radical feminism" in the past. This party is one of South Korea's major progressive parties that puts LGBT as the main issue more than other issues. MP is practically one-issue political party. --Storm598 (talk) 03:00, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
- The problem is LGBT rights is not generally considered a political ideology and is not listed on that page as one. I think the best place for it is the "Political orientation" section. Helper201 (talk) 03:14, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
- I think it's important to list LGBT organizations and positive parties, because when LGBT people in Korea or who will migrate to Korea look for these things, they search on Wikipedia. Also, I do not know of members who left the Green Party Korea to join the Mirae Party. I do not believe that Mirae Party members leaving the Greens over "radical feminism" is a real thing. - Helper201 # But didn't you also describe "women's rights" in Infobox's ideology in this article? I think "LGBT rights" must be included in MP's infobox.--Storm598 (talk) 10:18, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
- "Woman's rights" should be removed from the infobox of the Women's Party article. This is because one phrase "feminism" is enough. However, if you don't write "LGBT rights" in the infobox of the Mirae Party article, you can't highlight that Mirae Party is more active than other political parties in the LGBT issue.--Storm598 (talk) 10:22, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
- Storm598, I didn't add women's rights on that page, I just moved it from the political position section to the ideology section but you were right to remove it as it is not a political ideology. I still disagree with adding LGBT rights as a political ideology because I don't think its typically defined as one but I see no problem with it being in the main body of the page. You can always open a request for comment if you want the views on other editors on the matter if you still disagree with me. This topic would fall under "Politics, government, and law". All the best. Helper201 (talk) 18:40, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
