Tallest U/C and crane collapse

[edit]

Hurricane Milton collapsed a tower crane on a high rise under construction in St. Petersburg, with widespread media coverage, and a warning about the danger of loose debris and tower cranes before the storm hit. Which building was it? It looked to be at least 100 meters (over 300 ft), enough to qualify for this tallest buildings list. B137 (talk) 00:42, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It was the new tallest building in the city, the Residences at 400 Central, the city's first building over 150 meters (500 ft), and the crane fell across the road, possibly on the Tampa Bay Times building. The 46-floor building was at it's final height, according to CTBUH. There is already an incident report on a local government website as well. B137 (talk) 01:33, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
