Error?
[edit]Julian Clary's page doesn't say anything about living in Swindon; which is correct? Moonraker12 16:05, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
- His parents live in Westlea[1], they moved to Swindon when he was 18[2]. Swindon Borough Council have added him to the list of people associated with the town as a result of his frequent visits[3]. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.64.14.109 (talk) 16:51, 3 September 2007 (UTC)
Inclusion criteria
[edit]Any ideas on what could constitute "from" Swindon on this list? Many key figures were born outside of the town (Richard Jefferies etc). Especially the railway notables who often came here with the GWR but led their lives in the town. SwindonLocal (talk) 12:46, 11 May 2011 (UTC)
- @SwindonLocalI agree and have added people here who lived, worked, died and are buried in Swindon but were born elsewhere. Shaun Sheep (talk) 13:11, 30 May 2022 (UTC)
