English: An illustration of a Mississippian culture anthropomorphic human headed avian repoussé copper plate found near Malden, Missouri in 1906. One of eight plates found in the Wulfing cache, this one is designated Plate A. Unreconstructed area measures 30 centimetres (12 in) in length by 13.5 centimetres (5.3 in) in width and weighing 84 grams (3.0 oz).[1]
Reconstructed areas based on Malden plate F and the Upper Bluff Lake avian plate, as all three are thought to have been made by the same artist or workshop.[2]
