Description Impression of the Seal of the Vice President of the United States in red wax, as seen on an envelope on a letter from January 26, 1850. The letter was from Vice President Millard Fillmore to Senator Thomas J. Rusk, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Post Offices and Post Roads, concerning the nomination of Isaac Harrington as postmaster at Buffalo.
