English: Schizambon perspinosum, a brachiopod, class lingulata, order Siphonotretida, family Siphonotretidae, 8 mm along the axis, not measuring the spines, collected from the Bromide Formation, Oklahoma, USA, from the Upper Ordovician (Sandbian). It is a phosphateous shell, with regular nodes, densely covered in very narrow (0.1mm), but long (3mm) spines. Identification by Donna Russell of Geological Enterprises.
