English: Arms of Alexander Douglas-Home, 14th Earl and Lord of Home, Lord of Dunglass, Baron Douglas, Baron Home of the Hirsel.
  • Crests: 1st, On a Cap of Maintenance Proper a Lion's Head erased Argent (Home); 2nd, On a Cap of Maintenance Proper a Salamander Vert encircled with Flames of Fire Proper (Douglas).
  • Arms: Quarterly: I & IV grandquarters, quarterly: 1st & 4th: vert a lion rampant argent armed and langued gules (Home); 2nd & 3rd: Argent three popinjays vert beaked and membered gules (Pepdie of Dunglas); overall an escutcheon or charged with an orle azure (Landale); II & III grandquarters, quarterly: 1st: Azure a lion rampant argent armed and langued gules crowned with an imperial crown or (Lordship of Galloway); 2nd: Or a lion rampant gules armed and langued azure debruised of a ribbon sable (Abernethy); 3rd: Argent three piles gules (Lordship of Brechin); 4th: or a fess checky azure and argent surmounted of a bend gules charged with three buckles of the field (Stewart of Bonkill); over all on an inescutcheon argent a man's heart gules ensigned with an imperial crown proper and a chief azure charged with three mullets of the field (Douglas).
  • Supporters: On either side a Lion Argent armed and langued Gules.
  • Mottoes: (Above the first crest) "A Home, a Home, a Home"; (Above the second crest) "Jamais arrière" (Never behind); (Below the arms) "True to the end".

  • Ecu: Ecartelé : au I et IV contre-écartelé au 1 et 4 de sinople à un lion d'argent, armé et lampassé de gueules (de Home); au 2 et 3 d'argent à trois perroquets de sinople (Pepdie de Dunglas); sur le tout d'or à l'orle d'azur(Landale); au II et III : contre-écartelé : au 1er d'azur à un lion rampant d'argent couronné d'or; au 2ème d'or à un lion rampant de gueules, une bande de sable brochant; au 3ème d'argent à trois piles de gueules, au 4ème d'or à une fasce échiquetée d'argent et d'azur, à la bande de gueules brochant, chargée de trois fermaux d'or; sur le tout d'argent, au coeur de gueules surmonté d'une couronne impériale au naturel, au chef d'azur à trois étoiles du premier (de Douglas).
