Summary

Description
English: An illustration of an avian themed Mississippian culture incised sandstone tablet with an S.E.C.C. "Birdman". The tablet was found in 1971 during excavations into the east side of Monks Mound at Cahokia. It measures approximately 4 inches (10 cm) in height.[1][2]
