| Description |
English: This image was taken early in the morning where the sun perfectly shines above the mountains. It was taken in the Binitin, Murcia, Negros Occidental. As I was chilling outside, I saw this farmer together with his carabao "water buffalo" on a trip to plow their fields. I suddenly grabbed my camera to capture this moment. The farmer stopped at the right moment and looked up at the mountains of Mount Canlaon.
The image represents the difficult life of our farmers in the Philippines. They wake up early in the morning to plow fields every single day yet they are not valued by the people and their salary is not even enough. This farmer appreciates life than any of us. No matter how hard his life is, he is still fighting every single day because he knows that there is always hope and he will never become hopeless. |
