Asad Ali Memon (born August 15, 1997) is a Pakistani mountaineer recognized for his record-breaking high-altitude climbs. He is the first person from Sindh to summit Mount Everest[1] and has successfully completed several expeditions across multiple continents, establishing himself as a leading figure in Pakistani adventure sports.

[edit]Asad Ali Memon was born on August 15, 1997, in Larkana, Sindh, Pakistan. He completed his matriculation from Larkana Public School and later earned a Bachelor of Computer Science from the Institute of Business Management (IoBM), Karachi[2]

[edit]Mount Kilimanjaro (Tanzania)
[edit]In February 2021, Memon climbed Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 meters) in under 20 hours, becoming the first Pakistani and the first Asian to achieve this feat within 24 hours. His achievement was widely covered by Arab News[3] The Nation,[4] and The Express Tribune[5]
Mount Elbrus (Russia)
[edit]In August 2019, Asad made history by becoming the youngest Pakistani to summit Mount Elbrus, the highest peak in Europe at 5,642 meters. His achievement marked a significant milestone in his mountaineering career. Mount Elbrus, located in the Caucasus Mountains of Russia, is considered one of the Seven Summits. Asad's accomplishment added to his growing list of outdoor adventures and solidified his passion for scaling some of the world's highest mountain[6].[7]
Mount Aconcagua (Argentina)
[edit]Asad achieved a remarkable feat by successfully summiting Mount Aconcagua, the highest peak in South America, on January 26, 2020. Standing at 6,961 meters (22,837 feet), Aconcagua is one of the most challenging mountains to climb, making Memon's achievement all the more impressive. His triumph was celebrated in Mendoza, Argentina, at a local trekking shop where a flag of Pakistan, placed by Memon himself, proudly flew as a symbol of his accomplishment.[8]
Mount Denali (North America)
[edit]In May 2022, Asad Ali Memon successfully summited Mount Denali (6,190 meters), the highest peak in North America. [7]. This achievement further established his reputation as one of Pakistan's most accomplished young mountaineers. His climb was celebrated by Indus Motor Company, recognizing his determination and perseverance, which aligned with their commitment to championing Pakistani talent.[9] The company highlighted his feat as a testament to "pushing the limits and aiming higher"[10]
Mount Everest (Nepal)

Spantik / Golden peak (Pakistan)
[edit]In 2023, Memon climbed Golden Peak (7,027 meters) in the Karakoram Range. His feat was noted by Hum English[13] .
