Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Chișinău, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Growth rate (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Alegeri

XXN 22:49, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Florida and New York

What difference is there between Florida and New York that made it so that you added 2014 population for Florida but not for New York?? Georgia guy (talk) 21:51, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No difference, i just put the 2014 data for some states with the highest percentage change in estimated population... New York added.
Your Florida figure is larger than your New York figure. So I just learned something. In 2014, Florida (after Texas in 1994 and California sometime in the distant past) surpassed New York in population. Georgia guy (talk) 22:31, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sourcing

Please use census information or reliable sources sourcing from the same. I have no idea how "worldpopulationreview.com" calculates their "current population" numbers, but that site appears to be some kind of SEO front and I can't image how it counts as WP:RS. I've removed your changes until you can provide some more detail on the source. Kuru (talk) 00:22, 15 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why change the order?

Why did you rearrange the demographics at Rockland County, New York so that Hispanics, making up some 16% of the population, are listed after groups making up a fraction of a percent? HGilbert (talk) 12:40, 2 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

White (including White Hispanic) in USA

Thank you for helping in this article, but your statistic about births for whites in USA is inaccurate. In practice this statistic include all white non-hispanic, all white hispanic and all people from category some other which describes people partially white and probably other people partially white (for example some multiracial). I know that isn't your mistake - some statistics in USA have the misclassification (wrong classification). Look at 2010 census - white constitute 63.34% (12 795 675 people) in group 0-4 and 72.41% in USA. Only about half Hispanic people are white. In that case white can not have so much children that is witten in your statictic. Please change your statistic or write that this table is about white people and people partially white (for example - some other race), because our statistics should have good informations, not impresice. But thank you very much for your good work. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 178.217.194.100 (talk) 18:39, 23 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

2017 population update

Hello! I noticed you have been providing updates to the population estimates from the United States Census Bureau. I was wondering why the reference provided wasn't in a format like Template:Cite web? The information could be added as followed:

<ref>{{cite web |url=https://www.census.gov/quickfacts/fact/table/... (direct URL here) |title= QuickFacts - (region from QuickFacts here) |website=[[United States Census Bureau]]|access-date=Month DD, YYYY}}</ref>

Let me know your thoughts. – TheGridExe (talk) 14:53, 22 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Also, with this and all the other edits I checked, you have not updated the link to the 2017 data. I'd rather not revert them all if you could instead update the link. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 15:46, 28 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, i'm all agreeing with you, but one moment, i just can't understand what's the entire point of this complication with the template, anytime i'm citting a source, i'm adding the direct link there, so it's more simple and easy to edit... In ro:wiki, this also a standard thing... Tolea93 12:33, 24 August 2018 (EEST)

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Crawford County, Arkansas. This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You have been cautioned twice about providing proper sources for demographic data. At Crawford County, you updated 2017 data using a web link to 2016 data. List of U.S. states by Amish population

Hello Tolea, I deleted the percentages concerning the Amish per county in the article List of U.S. states by Amish population. The numbers were not correct, because they compare whole settlements stretching over several counties with the population of ONE county. For example the percentage of Amish in Holmes County, Ohio is a bit over 40 percent, among children about 50 percent, but not 80 percent.

By the way, we seem to share a lot of interests, judging from the articles you edited. I'm very much interested in people like Dave Rubin, Jordan Peterson, Tim Pool, Carl Benjamin, Stefan Molyneux ‎etc. Besides traditional Anabaptists I'm also very much interested in Orthodox and Ultra-Orthodox Jewish communities and in population development in general. Best regards Dan Holsinger (talk) 08:46, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Dan, i actually did take that into account, the fact is that in those pages concerning "Twelve Largest Settlements", there is specifically written the county in which the settlement is located, i only did not included percentages for two areas where there are no specified counties.
And yeah i'm also pretty much interested in these personalities, and topics regarding Christianity and the West, i myself i'm a Eastern Orthodox member. –Tolea93 11:37, 12 February 2018 (EEST)

Tajiks and Mountain Tajiks (China)

Hey, from what I understand, there s a big dfference between Tajiks and the Mountain Tajiks (China). Why lump them together? What do you think? Geographyinitiative (talk) 06:02, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, i think they're basically the same ethnicity, the main difference between the Tajiks and Mountain Tajiks of China is that first group having it's history conected to the Russia and USSR, while the second with China, another moment is that many of them left Tajikistan core after the Russian Civil War when Communists came in power, because of the fear of persecution many left to China that time. And the maine article i see is also called Tajiks of Xinjiang, not Mountain Tajiks of China, anyway, let me see your point to this, i'm open to do the rechange if required.

Violation of WP:CIV

@Tolea93, while I accept and respect your reversion of my edit at Christianity in Israel it is a violation of WP:CIV to refer to another editor as "boy". I understand that your English is at an intermediate level, but I don't believe it is appropriate in any language to address another user in this way.Tammbecktalk 11:27, 20 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, that's actually very sad [head shake], "Dude" the "Word" i called you has actually been the least "offensive" word i can call you in a normal language, any f way... For the future i suggest you to actually do some checkings for the edits, before deleting them in 2 seconds, for some people those edits might take 2 hours to do, and actually be legit... –Tolea93 09:54, 21 August 2020 (EEST)
One meaning of "boy" is an "offensive form of address for a slave" [1] but maybe you didn't know that. Anyway, you shouldn't take offence if you get reverted - WP:BRD is a very normal process on Wikipedia.Tammbecktalk 15:41, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia Wars and the Israel-Palestine conflict...please fill out my survey?

Hello :) I am writing my MA dissertation on Wikipedia Wars and the Israel-Palestine conflict, and I noticed that you have contributed to those pages. My dissertation will look at the process of collaborative knowledge production on the Israel-Palestine conflict, and the effect it has on bias in the articles. This will involve understanding the profiles and motivations of editors, contention/controversy and dispute resolution in the talk pages, and bias in the final article.

For more information, you can check out my meta-wiki research page or my user page, where I will be posting my findings when I am done.

I would greatly appreciate if you could take 5 minutes to fill out this quick survey before 8 August 2021.

Participation in this survey is entirely voluntary and anonymous. There are no foreseeable risks nor benefits to you associated with this project.

Thanks so much,

Sarah Sanbar

Hello from Arandiro

I see that you did a lot of work on Anabapist articles here. I also wrote a lot about this theme here with another account ("Dan H.") but I was also banned recently. For example I did add most of the text to the article Mennonites in Bolivia and also the most to the article Amish and many other Anabaptist articles.

I did not only write a lot here, I also read almost all of the important books about traditional Anabapists. More over I visted many traditional Anabapist groups - Amish, Old Order Mennonites, Old Colony Mennonites and Hutterites - for months, weeks and days. Another subject of my interest are Ultraorthodox Jews. By the way, I speak and understand Pennsylvania German, and I understand Plautdietsch, Hutterisch and Yiddish which I can also read because I learned some Hebrew. I would love to talk to you in case you are interested in such an exchange.

By the way, my mothertongue is German and I also speak some Roman languages like Spanish, Portuguese and French. I learned also many other languages to some degree.

Best wishes

Hello there Arandiro! Yeah, we've got quite the same interests, besides the Anabaptist main groups i'm also interested in Haredi's. Thanks for your great contributions on those articles! Keep on! –Tolea93 09:34 (EET), April 08, 2022 (EEST)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Special Forces Brigade "Fulger", you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Battle of Bender.

Decesul lui John Onoje

Hello ! I would like to ask you to edit John Onoje's Romanian-language (and Russian language) page (including the infobox and the categories), to add information about his death. I can't currently edit it. RAMSES$44932 (talk) 22:41, 25 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Tolea93

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username KingSkyLord, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've proposed an article that you started, List of U.S. states by Hutterite population, for deletion because it meets one or more of our deletion criteria, and I don't think that it is suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. The particular issue can be found in the notice that is now visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to contest the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click the Publish changes button.

If you object to the article's deletion, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the issues raised in the deletion notice. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|KingSkyLord}}. And remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. Thanks!

Look, if you already deleted the page, then delete at least the links to it... – Tolea93 12:07 (EET), September 17, 2024.

Information icon Hello, I'm Cordless Larry. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, South Africans in the United Kingdom, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Cordless Larry (talk) 09:20, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
