License tagging for Image:ISSC.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:ISSC.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. New GAA infobox

As i was saying the current {{Infobox GAA club}} doesnt really suit . My main changes to it would be to make the competions link the the canadian competions. If you could provide information on that it would be most helpful

  • Is their an All Canada sort of competion ? No, currently there is the Toronto C'ship and the Western one, and to date little effort has been made to combine both...
  • Do team in the wcc play against teams from any other place ?
    • Yes, but only those already mentioned in their local tournaments (Seattle men/ ladies, Ausie Rules teams'). The clubs here openly invite other clubs to tournaments here, but it tends only to be those mentioned above that make it to the Western tournaments. Calgary & Edmonton have sent teams to Montreal & Toronto for 7's tournies..
  • What competion do the toronto/eastern teams play in?
    • They call it the Championship, but they assumed they were the only canadian teams in existence until we connected with them in 2003. As of yet, the East feel their's is the real Canadian C'ship.
  • Does the idea of province really apply in canada?
    • No. Quebec (1 club) and Ontario (7 clubs) have team in the East, and BC (1 club) & Alberta (2 clubs) have teams in the west. It is all in a state of developmental flux, right now.. Talk of new clubs joining or being founded; trying to work out tournament formats that suit any new clubs... As far as Canada goes, east and west are entirely seperate. I'm concentrating on founding another club in the Vancouver area. Lots of things to think about... i.e. do BC teams play for BC c'ship? and same in AB? then two winners meet in WCC final? Or do we maintain the league type format? Keeps all teams involved until the final day of play???
  • Any suggestions you might have yourself?
    • I am full of ideas, but setting the tournament's in stone is something that is a long way off. We hope that in the next 2 or 3 yrs that there will be more teams here. Maybe, 2 or 3 more teams in Vanocuver alone (the pop' could easily support a handful of more teams...)
