Promoting fringe theories, edit warring and aspersions
Hi Biohistorian15, there are some rules of conduct here. According to WP:ASPERSIONS you should give evidence supporting this[1] and this[2] (the "gaming" part) edit of yours. I strongly believe in the results of academic disciplines (I'm teaching history and physics at a German Gymnasium), but I'm not pushing a POV out of a "left-wing persuasion" (quote from your user page). Theories biologically dividing humans into different races have been promoted for political reasons, but they have been debunked by science. That's why I can only see this edit[3] as disruptive promotion of a fringe theory. Why should an article about a scientific subject contain a map from a racist book ? Why should real-life Anglo-Saxons form part of the "Nordics" from Grant's and Hitler's horror stories ? I'm not sure whether this series of edits[4] was promoting pseudo-science, but it surely was edit warring from your part. And, as you surely noticed, I was not the only editor taking issue with Template:Historical race concepts sidebar. Rsk6400 (talk) 10:00, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
