I'm one of those editors who barely knows how to type. Seriously. I was wondering, for future articles, if you know how to create and place song clips to Wikipedia? Also, do you know how to crop (free use) photos, and/or removal of watermarks from photos already uploaded to Commons? Those are things that would be such a help sometimes! Please answer me on my talk page, OK? Thanks. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 05:01, 12 April 2012 (UTC)

:I understand. If you do notice another editor with the ability and willingness here, please let me know, OK? Did I ever send you the instructions as to my methods and wiki-rules for uploading and placing photos? If not, I'm still willing to show how I do it. Just let me know. I recall maybe 10 emails to you unfinished due to distractiom, all sitting in my emsil drafts. Thanks for your concern

It's just a bout of cellulitis that has been dogging me since I came home from the hospital on June 4th for an entirely different issue, but then, you know how it's easier to pick up bacteria in such places. But I assume you dropped by my talk page for a different reason. If you can recall what it was, please let me know! I have been uploading a whole bunch of photos, BTW. :) Oh, but if you can respond on my talk page, it would be very kind of you! --Leahtwosaints (talk) 09:14, 21 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I'm glad you remembered! There are several musicians who haven't really gotten the attention (especially that of a careful biographer like yourself) that they deserve. Depending on your tastes, Rory Gallagher, Jeff Beck (in his myriad incarnations), Mick Taylor, Mark Knopfler. and several others always need some help. Hope you had a good rest after that huge job on Van Morrison! --Leahtwosaints (talk) 02:52, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Question about your archival of recent discussions

Should I interpret this as an indication that you do not wish to continue discussing the article here? VQuakr (talk) 01:53, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not at all! I just wanted a fresh start. I hope we can all work together more congenially from now on, that's all. What do you want to discuss. I'll be happy to hear what you have to say. Agadant (talk) 02:02, 10 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Glad to hear from you! Re: that website-

I think that's a pretty good source so long as the proper citations are included, but you know that already. Was there a specific issue in that website that you were concerned with? If so, let me know. I'm jealous of your abilities in focusing on a topic without all the distractions that carry me from one place to another. I'm not well yet and will maybe go to hospital in the coming days just for antibiotics IV just for a few days. Thanks for asking. You know, it'd funny; I was just thinking of you earlier today!! I'm so glad to see the work you have done with Jeff Beck. I really think musicians who have such long and varied careers and who influence others should be profiled first, and I placed all the photos in all of his projects with the exception of the 1 publicity photo on The Jeff Beck Group, and the two album covers on Beck, Bogert & Appice. That last one- please look at it. It seems someone merged an album page with a biography page there. If I can help you more let me know. Keep up the great work! --Leahtwosaints (talk) 05:08, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sure, I'll tell you all my photo secrets!

I have been crazy busy here in the real world, moving to a new apartment and dealing with doctors and illness. BUT, now that the DSL and landline are in, (and I really like your editing style), I'll be very happy to tell you what I do to find, secure, and upload photos. I'm glad you found that one photo from Flickr already, as that's where I go to find photos myself. I'll write you ASAP (probably later today or tomorrow) and let you know in detail the steps I take to upload photos to Commons, OK? Thanks for being patient with me!! --Leahtwosaints (talk) 09:48, 10 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Is this you?

I'll check the difference later - are you adding this material back in? I thought we'd discussed this previously and you accepted not to try this sort of stunt - if it is you, it makes you look like a shill for the company (I'm not saying you are a shill but it gives that appearance) and gives people ammo to ban you from that article. --Cameron Scott (talk) 13:50, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How really unfair of you to call me a shill or to say it "makes me look like a shill for the company" without even checking first! Here's the last version you edited and it was there on 09-07-2011. I'm a respectful and respectable editor just like you and deserve to be treated with WP:AGF... I would be taken to task and burned at the stake in view of everyone on Wikipedia, if I dared to make accusations against other editors and made the salacious comments to others, the way you all have done to me! Agadant (talk) 15:02, 2 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I should have phrased this better - in the end (in regards to that article),I came to the conclusion that you were doing excellent work on that article and I was concerned that if you had slipped that in, it would give ammo to the people trying to get you removed from it - that's why I said it would give the 'appearance' not that I think you are a shill (I'm certain you are not - and yesterday, I got involved with someone shilling for someone quite famous in the UK, so they do exist :-) ). --Cameron Scott (talk) 09:02, 3 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tagging edits as vandalism

Please consider the information at WP:VANDNOT before again identifying other editors' good faith edits as vandalism. VQuakr (talk) 19:12, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

They were not good faith edits. You were taunting and ganging up, even baiting on the article talk page. Very surprising behavior since I asked for your input on how to write the article better and you chose not to answer me but show up a week later days later with that childish behavior with Aprock. Agadant (talk) 19:46, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Personal attack noted, but you are mistaken in your assumption that I am not editing in good faith. When have I taunted you? The fact that more than one editor disagrees with you at Web Sheriff does not mean that editors are "ganging up," it means that you are editing against consensus. This is a challenging article, so I waited until I had time to actually interact regarding the page. VQuakr (talk) 19:57, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, both you and Aprock have cited lack of time before today and yet you arrived together to conveniently form a consensus. (I don't think this is what consensus means) Actually interact regarding the page? I asked for your advise to write a controversial article, you showed up with massive deletions. (as usual) Not quite the same. Agadant (talk) 22:30, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
You have alluded to this a few times, and I want to take the opportunity to be unambiguous: I have never colluded with another editor to inappropriately coordinate the timing of our edits. VQuakr (talk) 22:41, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, you can't blame me for thinking it strange that you both always participate in the same discussions, always agree, and leave the discussions without further interaction at about the same time. Today Aprock showed up on the talk page within 29 minutes of you and agreed as usual with your deletions. Previously you showed up on the article to back him up on the tagging. I'm just saying it "looks" like a "tag-team". Of course, only you and he know for sure, but you should be aware of how it looks. Agadant (talk) 22:54, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
How it looks to you, and how it is are two very different things. Here are recent dates of editing for the two of us:
 • Aprock: 2011: 8/2
 • VQuakr: 2011: 8/10, 8/11, 8/12, 8/13, 8/17, 9/7, 9/8, 9/10
 • Aprock: 2012: 1/24, 1/25, 2/6
 • VQuakr: 2012: 1/25, 1/27, 2/6
Of the twelve days that we've edited the talk page, we've only edited on the same day twice. Thought it probably goes without saying at this point, it still probably needs to be said; we are not coordinating our edits. aprock (talk) 23:03, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Well, The timing looks really odd sometimes, but perhaps it's just that you both have in common that you think the article should remain tagged (hence no discussion to address very specific issues yoU say it has) and that it should constantly be deleted away (esp. after I have done extensive work on repairs after deletions or to try to address your accusations of POV. Maybe you just both keep a very close eye on my editing and on the article as evidenced here:
Can't blame me for noticing the timing is so immediate in the first 2 instances and rather intimidating, since I've been told I would be watched... I just didn't know how closely! Agadant (talk) 23:38, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Please see: Blanking, illegitimate Agadant (talk) 19:50, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
That is not applicable; I provided justification for the edits on the talk page and my edit summaries. VQuakr (talk) 19:57, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Your justification. No discussion... I asked for collaborate discussion on writing the article. You chose to walk away and not reply. Your reasons for deleting this material and reliable sources were not legitimate, IMO. Agadant (talk) 20:01, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
But I provided a justification. It is fine if you disagree, but you accused me of vandalism which is different than "I disagree with the justification you provided for this edit." VQuakr (talk) 20:06, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
But the justification wasn't "necessarily" a "legitimate" one, just because you provided it. It was a speedy removal of sourced material that you happened to want to remove to perhaps keep the article to a pre-determined size? The article is held hostage and it is not by me! Notification of discussion at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is "Web Sheriff". Thank you. --VQuakr (talk) 20:45, 6 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Chris Michie

Thanks for your editing of this lemma about Chris Michie. I was impressed by his album "Guitars and Oranges". It was in my collection for more then 14 years and I never payed much intention to it, because I thought it was New Age stuff. So it was on the shelf "to listen once". A couple of day I did and it impressed so much that I want to know more about Chris Michie. There was not that much. So I started this lemma. More of a tribute to a wonderful musician. Indeed I copied some text from a website. I'm not that good in English. But you asked me to do, so I will check your writing. Thanks again for makin it a better article! Album credits for Blowin' Your Mind

I figure if any such credits existed they would've appeared already, but I figured that it doesn't hurt to ask. It just seems strange to me that credits would exist for TB Sheets and not BYM. Anything would be helpful as I am with a company that does royalty distribution for side players and singers. If you or any one else can direct me to credits for this album, it would be much appreciated. Sincerely D. ThomasEDylanThomas (talk) 17:04, 3 April 2012 (UTC) [email protected] www.raroyalties.org[reply]

Did you ask on the talk page for BYM? BYM and T.B. Sheets are probably the only two albums of his that I don't have. I just really don't know and don't know for sure where to refer you to really dependable accurate information. I don't know where the editor got them on the T.B. Sheets album. "BEG" has some musicians referenced in the text but I'm not sure it's a complete list for even that song. Sorry, wish I could be of more help. I'll search around when I get time and let you know if I come up with anything, though. All the best, Agadant (talk) 23:14, 3 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Astral Weeks

Astral Weeks looks very ready for WP:GAC.--TonyTheTiger (T/C/BIO/WP:CHICAGO/WP:FOUR) 04:31, 9 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm one of those editors who barely knows how to type. Seriously. I was wondering, for future articles, if you know how to create and place song clips to Wikipedia?
