Hello. I have noticed that you edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. December 2022
Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Lugii has been reverted.
Your edit here to Lugii was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links in references which are discouraged per our reliable sources guideline (see also this list of frequently-discussed sources). The reference(s) you added or changed (http://www.fallingrain.com/world/UP/a/L/u/, http://www.fallingrain.com/world/GR/a/L/o/) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. If you were adding a link or reference to fallingrain.com, then you should be aware that this site is considered on wikipedia to be an unreliable source. More information can be found MediaWiki_talk:Spam-blacklist#Fallingrain.com here (permanent). Please consider to use/find another source for the information.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 00:29, 20 December 2022 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Kpgjhpjm. I noticed that you recently removed content from Achaeans (tribe) without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Original research and synthesis
Hi Tikimat and welcome to Wikipedia. I appreciate your contributions to ancient history articles, but many of the claims you've added go beyond what's explicitly stated in your sources. For instance, your proposed etymology of "Lukka" does not appear in the Jamison (2009) paper you used as a source. It's not enough that the source verifies the existence of the Indo-Iranian "*-ka" suffix, since the text you added is making a stronger claim. I'd recommend that you read over Wikipedia's policy on synthesis of sources. Botterweg14 (talk) 20:41, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for December 27
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Names of the Greeks, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Don. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:05, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
Sourcing Achaeans
Hi again. I addressed some of the concerns you raised at Achaeans (tribe) but wanted to ask-- where in the given source does it state that the Achaeans migrated from Adjara? I couldn't find this information in the given source. Botterweg14 (talk) 22:16, 27 December 2022 (UTC)
- Botterweg14, thank you for keeping an eye on the article Achaeans (tribe); among others. There are apparently a number of issues with these recent additions, but unfortunately my time is extremely limited, and i cannot take a closer look right now. Achaeans (tribe) and missing cites
Hi Tikimat. You've added quite a few short form references to Achaeans (tribe), e.g. "Cline 2007", "Stubbings 1951", "Petrie 1894", etc. However the required full cites explaining what works these refs are referring too are missing. Could you let me know what they are or add them to the article? If you haven't already you may want to activate these errors, they are of by default. You can find details of how to turn them on at the top of the category here Category:Harv and Sfn no-target errors. If you have any questions please just ask. As it stand any SFR without a full cite is effectively unreferenced. -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested ∆transmissions∆ °co-ords° 17:56, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Achaeans (Homer) into Achaeans (tribe). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from page name; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted copied template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 21:55, 29 December 2022 (UTC)
Achaeans (tribe)
In your edit of 04:21, 30 December 2022 (UTC) of Achaeans (tribe), you introduced

when the Sources section already had
*
This caused uses of
and
to each generate a harvnb error: multiple targets (2×): CITEREFCline2012 errors.
I don't fully understand why this is a conflict, because you copied the reference exactly. But anyway, once an article is using harvnb
templates, it's best to use them and not revert to cite book
, at least for books that are already referenced with harvnb
. I started to fix it, but your reference is missing a page number. So, please get the page number and fix it. Cheers! —Anomalocaris (talk) 08:54, 30 December 2022 (UTC)
Missing citations at Achaeans (tribe)
As per my previous message you have introduced many incomplete short form refs to Achaeans (tribe). I also commented on this at the articls talk page, if these remain incomplete I'll have to replace them with citations needed tags. -- LCU ActivelyDisinterested ∆transmissions∆ °co-ords° 16:12, 30 December 2022 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that your recent edit to Donetsk Oblast did not have an edit summary. You can use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit, or to provide a description of what the edit changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief.
The edit summary field looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
Please provide an edit summary for every edit you make. With a Wikipedia account you can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary, and then click the "Save" button.
