:::Abkhazia and South Ossetia. You may like to refer to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Russia – South Ossetia relations, which was a most disruptive nomination on Termer's part. Like I said, not a single Kosovo article was touched by himself, although if his reasons were valid, then all Kosovo articles are candidates for deletion. But if you read his comments further on, he just shows himself to be a POV-pusher. --Russavia Dialogue 06:51, 14 August 2009 (UTC) |

I don't know if you are going to (or can) do anything with this, but I thought it'd be something interested to track: link. Just what "interests" does this primarily target, I wonder ;)—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 13:39, May 21, 2009 (UTC)

Russia-Foo bilateral relations
Leaving aside your defensive and dismissive attitude, a better way to categorize this lot would have been to place all of the Russia-Foo relations articles in Category:Bilateral relations of Russia as the top level category. As the second-tier used Category:Ambassadors to Russia and Category:Ambassadors of Russia and placed the ambassadors categories there with a hatnote along the lines for "For more information see Russia-Foo bilateral relations and see also Category:Fooian ambassadors to Russia. That way you have a useful, navigable category structure instead of this rat's warren of never-to-be-populated mini-cats that require people interested in bilateral relations to dig through far too many layers instead of having them all in one easily navigated category. Otto4711 (talk) 05:02, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
- Putting aside the more colourful metaphors, I think Otto has a good point about a good alternative structure for this scheme. Every country really doesn't need a bilateral relations category with Russia just to house the main article and the ambassadors. Exceptions would exist, of course, for those countries that have multiple articles that involve bilateral relations. Good Ol’factory (talk) 22:26, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
You should watch the discussion that is currently taking place here. Certain editors with self-admitted lack of knowledge of the subject wish to prevent the article from appearing on the main page, it being "pro-Russian". Óðinn (talk) 22:06, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

I'm not sure if you're familiar with the expression "не мытьём, так катаньем", but our Estonian friends certainly are. :-) Óðinn (talk) 08:14, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

New HRF articles
I've just had to add a notability tag to a Tatar Russian pilot stub you've created. (I really appreciate and applaud your drive on the HRFs, by the way). The only indication that he was awarded the Hero of the Russian Federation is in one of the categories. Please add a description of for what he was awarded the HRF otherwise one pilot of so many is of unclear notability. Kind regards Buckshot06(prof) 10:15, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- thanks 4 ur msg. Could you pls put the wikilink to the article here as i am using mobile device and am not sure which article you are talking of. Cheers, Russavia Dialogue 18:18, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- Marat Alykov is the one. Cheers Buckshot06(prof) 04:24, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- I can handle this one, he is well covered in domestic sources. NVO (talk) 04:34, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- Oh shit, it appears that I didn't paste the entire article into it. I will do this up in the next 24 hours, no bother NVO (but thanks for offer). Cheers --Russavia Dialogue 04:41, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Locator maps
Oh, no problem, though I'm not to happy with the result - SO is too tiny to be seen very well on the world map. I noticed a script on the blank map I've used that allows to autogenerate bilateral maps, cropping it if necessary. I'll be away for the rest of the week, but when I'm back, I'll try to play with it. Hopefully, I can produce a map for Abkhazia and a better one for SO. Cheers! Óðinn (talk) 18:16, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Hand slipped? Or an anti-Russian conspiracy?—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 20:05, August 13, 2009 (UTC)
- Oops, hand slipped. No really, it was all part of a big conspiracy hatched in a secret location in the undergrounds of Moscow. Of course, you know, you now know too much and we will have to take you out. --Russavia Dialogue 06:45, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
Kosovo
but haven't some countries recognised it as its own country? you can't exactly say "internationally recognised as part of Serbia". some do, some don't. LibStar (talk) 06:43, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
