Tiffany Louise Sessions, (born on October 29th, 1968)[1] is a missing woman who was last seen on February 9th, 1989.[2] She was a university student junior at the University of Florida in Gainesville, and was majoring in finance.[3] Before she went missing, she was last seen wearing a white pullover sweat shirt with long sleeves and grey horizontal striping with "Aspen" printed on the front of the shirt's collar, red sweat pants, and Reebok tennis shoes with a low-cut. She was also wearing a women's Rolex wrist watch (Serial#: R609006) made of two-tone silver and gold sporting watchface, and was carrying a black Sony Walkman. Tiffany and her roommate Kathy often took walks at night around the neighborhood of their off-campus apartment complex. On the night of Tiffany's disappearance, she told her roommate she was going out alone for a power walk. Between 4 and 6 PM, she left her apartment on the 2600th block of SW 35th Place. Her last known appearance was around 6:00 PM near Cascablanca East Apartments at 2635 SW 35th Place. Tiffany left her wallet, identification, and keys in her apartment. After being gone for five hours, Tiffany's roommate alerted Tiffany's mother that her daughter was missing. The police did not handle the disappearance as a crime due to the fact that a crime scene had not been found. There was no sign that Tiffany had left her apartment's parking lot, nor were there any signs of a struggle. People have made claims that someone fitting Tiffany's description had been seen speaking to multiple individuals who were sitting inside a vehicle. Eye-witnesses were uncertain as to whether or not the woman entered the vehicle, and authorities have never confirmed that the individual in question was Tiffany. Michael Christopher Knickerbocker was considered a likely suspect involved in the disappearance. Knickerbocker was in prison serving five consectutive life sentences, and reportedly told his fellow inmates that he had murdered Tiffany Sessions. He also said that he had chained Tiffany to a tree, and discarded her body close to Fort Myers in the Calasahachee river. Knickerbocker was not living in Gainesville at the time of Tiffany's disappearance, which called into question the feasibility that he was responsible. As of 2014, police now feel confident that now-deceased and convicted serial-killer Paul Eugene Rowles was responsible for Tiffany Sessions' disappearance and murder.

Finding Tiffany Sessions Projects

Public efforts to find Tiffany Sessions include the Charley Project [4] and the Tiffany Sessions Facebook Project Page. Tiffany Sessions' family and particularly father Patrick Sessions have been dedicated to finding out what happened to his daughter since the date of her disappearance. The family worked very closely with the Sheriff's Department in Alachua County and the Florida Police in the investigation and location of Tiffany's remains, as well as finding those who are responsible, and are offering a $25,000 reward for information in the case.[5] They have worked closely with the Alachua County Sheriff’s Department and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement as to find the remains of Tiffany or convict any suspects involved in this case.
