Release date

Hi people! So this has turned into an issue. Ab abhi is of the opinion that since the film released in Karnataka before it was expanded nationwide, we should add the Karnataka release date in the infobox. However, I think that the Indian release date should be added, per WP:FILMRELEASE, which states that infobox should only contain the premiere date and the date when it was released in the country of the film's origin. Karnata is just a state, and a part of the country. We should always give due importance to the nation release. Also, Ab abhi seems to be too state-patriotic as he/she has reverted my edits without opening a discussion. This discussion at Ab abhi's Talk is also to be considered. Please discuss.
