True lol I've started to "repair" it's many problems as of today(3/30/11) but there is no need for this conversation to even be here so when you can someone delete this topic ^_^ ~Z~

I've only seen the Black Cat dub, and in some of the last four episodes there is a character named Adam who is there to manipulate Eve, and I was wondering why he wasn't in this article. :Can you prove his significance to not be minor and to deserve his space in the article? He wasn't an antagonist as he wasn't plotting against the protagonist the whole way, he may be a foil at best. DragonZero (talk) 21:03, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

Adam is the counterpart of Eve, and should have at least something to explain why he is there so as to be more informative of the series in general, after all this is a information site for Black Cat is it not? and if you think he isn't important to give him his own peice on this page then why not just place him in the other characters list? == Shiki's gender? ==

In the article Shiki is referred to as 'he'. From what I remember from the manga, Shiki was revealed to be female. Is this different in the anime, or should this be changed?

:Depends, are you reading through an illegal scanlation? Japanese are pretty ambiguous(Right word?) about the sex when referring to a person roughly translated to English as he or she. In the anime shiki is also refered to as a male but closely resembles a girl so it may indeed be an illegal scanlation MidnightAzure (talk) 13:07, 30 March 2011 (UTC)midnight

Anime characters??
Near the top it says list of the characters in the manga, yet most of these characters come from the anime. Anubis doesn't even exist in the manga. and I'm pretty sure the numbers are switched around a bit too. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.107.207.16 (talk) 01:50, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

I agree, the numbers are mixed up and Anubis doesn't belong in this list because he does not appear in the manga even once but only in the anime MidnightAzure (talk) 13:07, 30 March 2011 (UTC)midnight —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.94.39.6 (talk) 12:35, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

Height, weight, eye color

[edit]

I'm going to get rid of height, weight, eye color unless someone objects or has a better way of including them. - Peregrinefisher 10:19, 12 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes that data seems a bit excessive and unimportant. I'd save that for a more extensive Wikia description. Tyciol (talk) 03:47, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question

[edit]

Shouldn't a majority of the characters, or at least the main ones, get their own pages? I mean, get an article for Chronos, one of the Apostles of the Stars, etc. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.233.208.130 (talk) 06:08, 6 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]

I agree. We should have one for each of the subcategories on this page, i.e. Apostles, Sweeper Alliance, Chrono Numbers, etc. Chutup 06:08, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've started to split this article up. I did the four main characters, next we have to create pages for the 4 groups. - Peregrine Fisher 08:05, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I dont see anything split up. If you did do this, I think someone may have reverted it. Check the history. I don't really want to vote either way. I do think individual character articles are more suited for a Wikia though. Tyciol (talk) 03:47, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Confusion over Belze's spear's name

[edit]

According to the information about Belze, it says the spear is called Gungnir in the anime and something else in the manga, then it says it's called Gungnir in the manga. I haven't read any of the manga so I'm unable to clear this up myself. Chutup 06:08, 11 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This may depend on who was translating the manga. The best way to clear this up is to post who added both these changes here, and what sources they used for the names. Tyciol (talk) 03:47, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Poorly Written

Chronos 5

[edit]

Bruckheimer. Is his first name Nizer as listed under his entry, or Naizer as is listed under his deceased partner Ash? Since I presume this is a common typo I've redirected both terms, but despite this I think it would be good for this article to be consistant. I have consulted the most recent version of Chrono Numbers (prior to its being merged into this list) and it seems there wasn't any decision since BOTH names were used. What sources can we consult for the proper spelling?

Check the english version of the manga or anime. I don't have either tho. -- Highwind888, the Fuko Master 01:49, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

While I'm at it, in case there are any name confusions regarding the other two groups, it would be good to link to the most recent versions of the Sweeper Alliance and Apostles of the Stars also prior to list merge (since we lost a lot of detail, which should probably be moved to a Wikia to retain this research). This applies to the main character articles as well, but moreso to the three group articles since they're the ones with the least detail per character, increasing their value. Minor characters tend to be the ones where people mix up information the easiest since we're not as familiar with them, and the creators spend less effort giving information on them. Since this merge only happened about a month ago, I'm afraid a lot of the contributors to these articles might be wondering where their hard work went, so I want to make it easy to find, especially to solve these leftover matters. Tyciol (talk) 05:27, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Then the articles need to be made to be consistent, and not link to a merged page. I think this page needs a lot of work, especially with formatting anyway (If I hadn't seen and read the series, I would've been entirely confused). I'll probably have a go at it when I get some free time. -- Highwind888, the Fuko Master 01:49, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Creed's Number?

[edit]

I was under the impression that Creed Diskenthe was one of the Chrono Numbers. I guess not? If he had a number then I suppose they didn't list it? Since all the other ones were taken, if he did get one I suppose it would be 14 or greater? Since he so easily killed Chronos agents and defeated Numbers even prior to getting his Tao abilities it's quite surprising he wasn't one. The only thing I can guess is he didn't want the responsibilities so that he'd have time to stalk Train on his assignments? Tyciol (talk) 03:47, 21 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No, Creed was never a member of the Numbers; just an eraser. I believe he got really powerful without Chronos knowing, and then he "rebelled". -- Highwind888, the Fuko Master 01:46, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Name redirects

[edit]

Okay I just spent like an hour or two redirecting all the names on this page to this page in the appropriate sections. If the sections are changed later (such as if people choose to give each character their own subsection) then please remember to update the links accordingly to direct to the most specific indent possible.
