Aynabo District also known as Saraar Region is a district in the northern Sool region of Somalia. Its capital lies at Aynabo.[1] Other settlements in the district includes Oog. Wadaamagoo, Habrai-Heshai, Ceel-Dhaab, Kirit, BadWayn, Gowsaweyn and Qori-Dheere. It is the second largest and most populous District in Sool after Las Anod District.
Demography
The total population of the district is 97,188. The district is primarily inhabited by people from the Somali ethnic group, with the Habar Jeclo sub-clan of the Isaaq well represented.[2]
