Slyder Pilot (talk · contribs) – I am a very responsible user and love helping others understand why things work the way they do. Also, having been an English minor in college and am now a technology specialist at the place I work, I know a little something about editing others' work. Slyder 20:26, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

- Oppose. Incapable of following RfA instructions. Less than 50 edits. Try again in about 6 months when you have about 3000 edits under your belt. --Lord Deskana Dark Lord of the Sith 21:21, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose, too new, malformed RfA. Suggest withdrawal. --Rory096 21:28, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose, too new. Shouting in RFA, I doubt anyone has aquired adminship with less than 100 edits.--Andeh 21:36, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- It's not shouting, he just forgot to remove the reminder text. —Cuiviénen 22:02, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose per all above. Also, nearly all of the administrator tasks mentioned do not require admin tools. Recommend withdrawal. —Cuiviénen 22:02, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose You don't need admin tools to do what you stated below. So, continue doing what you're doing for a few months, and I look forward to supporting you in the future. AmiDaniel (talk) 22:05, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose Doesn't meet (even) my criteria. Seems to be an excellent user but now is not the time to become an admin. Eluchil404 22:51, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose- Too new, sorry. Reyk YO! 23:32, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose. Malformed RfA. (Ending time not substituted.) G.He 00:06, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose. Does not have enough experience. I hope to see another RfA from you in the future :) Kalani [talk] 00:12, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose I'm sorry but beyond the multiple formatting problems with this RfA this user is still far too new. This is important because we haven't seen enough of how you react to all the different situations an admin must deal with to make a fair judgement. Please keep up the good work and come back later. Good luck, Gwernol 00:14, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose, too inexperienced and no need for tools. RandyWang (raves/rants) 00:18, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose - suggest withdraw - we really don't know enough about you at the moment, get involved with the community, learn from us while we learn from you and in a few months we'll be able to make an educated decision -- Tawker 00:31, 12 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Questions for the candidate Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia in this capacity. Please take the time to answer a few generic questions to provide guidance for voters:
- 1. What sysop chores, if any, would you anticipate helping with? Please check out Category:Wikipedia backlog, and read the page about administrators and the administrators' reading list.
- A: I would love to help with NPOV disputes, Cleanup by month, Articles that need to be wikified, Articles lacking sources, Articles with unsourced statements, Wikipedia articles in need of updating, Wikipedia articles with nonstandard pronunciation, and the blocking of users/deleting articles.
- 2. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
- A: Well I had been pleased with the article for International Thumb Wrestling Association until it was deleted for Wikipedia:Wikipedia is not for things made up in school one day. I was happy with this one because it was my first major contribution to Wikipedia and an organization that I had started. I had maintained & updated the article and when it was deleted I was able to have a mature discussion about it.
- 3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
- A: Given the above article, Tijuana Brass and I discussed why the article was deleted, especially so quickly. While I still disagree with him/her, we're currently at an understanding because we talked about the article in a mature manner.
