Sorry your right I was thinking of something else. I am not an image expert and in fact I have basically given up on uploading images to Wikipedia because there always seems to be a loop hole to delete them and I have tired of arguing over it and I have tired of reuploading an image 4 or 5 times because someone doesn't like the justification or finds it on a website that says its copywritten (and that site often got if from somewhere else). The bottom line here is that this is a low resolution, historically important image taken in the 1920's (possibly prior to 1923) and possibly as a work of the US government. After doing some research it is in the collection of the Arlington House collection (of images and historical information pertaining to the cemetery and life there prior to it becoming a cemetery). If you want to delete it go for it but it seems like a huge waste of time and a huge disservice to the pedia when there are literally thousands more images that ARE obvious problems. If you delete the image let me know so I can downgrade the entire article to start class since it will no longer meet the criteria for a B class article. --Kumioko (talk) 14:22, 23 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Image is used only on the user page of the uploader, who has been gone for over a year. Normally, I wouldn't see any reason to delete an image that was in use, HOWEVER, the license tag was NOT added by the uploader, but, rather, was added by someone else - "Assumed GFDL, as it was uploaded by the creator". In April 2004, language on MediaWiki:Uploadtext referring to an implied GFDL license was removed - images uploaded since that time cannot be "assumed" to be GFDL. Keep - Not only is this historically important image the first ever known mugshot of Bundy (which lead to his identification as a prolific serial killer), it shows him in a completely different context than the "free" mugshot, taken after he was sentenced to death. His appearance is very different and illustrates his "chameleon"-like quality. It is of significantly lower resolution than other versions (or crops) available out there. Keep - The argument for deleting (that there is "already a mug shot in the article") is completely without merit. The article notes that Bundy looked different in virtually every photo ever taken of him, which significantly delayed his capture; and this photo shows him in a completely different context than the "free" mugshot, illustrating that "chameleon"-like quality. No, the commentary in the article also refers to her receiving the ACE Award for the 1986 PBS broadcast - but in any case, the PBS broadcast was simply a recreation of the Broadway production, which closed in October 1985. That is simply not the case. There is no commentary regarding Peters' appearance or performance. There is simply a plot summary of a sketch, which image adds nothing of significance to. NFCC#8 requires "Non-free content is used only if its presence would significantly increase readers' understanding of the topic, and its omission would be detrimental to that understanding." Well, it said that she received an Emmy Award for her appearance in the episode. Now I've revised it a little to clarify what the photograph shows: "Peters was nominated for Emmy Awards for her guest-starring roles on The Muppet Show (1977) and Ally McBeal (2001). On The Muppet Show, after Robin the Frog is ignored by his uncle Kermit, Peters teaches him to believe in himself by singing the song "Just One Person" to him (pictured at right).[followed by refs] This number is included in the album The Muppet Show 2, Peters was one of The Muppets' guests when they hosted The Tonight Show in 1979, again singing "Just One Person" to Robin, and she appeared in other episodes with the Muppets."[ref] I could add, if it would help, that Peters was the first person to sing the song on the show, and that after Peters' appearance, the Muppets used the number repeatedly. -- Ssilvers (talk) 22:58, 22 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Not to put too fine a point on it, but in what way does a picture of Peters and several Muppets increase the reader's understanding of that burst of exposition? In particular, how can the reader possibly gather any significant information regarding the song from that picture? It's not a good idea to go off on a detailed tangent in the middle of a BLP to try to justify the inclusion of a nonfree image; it says getting the picture in is more important than presenting a balanced view of the subject's career. Apparently a self-made logo of a YouTube user - see http://www.youtube.com/user/MultiJKN - not a notable person; therefore, the image seems to be out-of-scope; a text-logo with no purpose for the English Wikipedia.
