Every small town does not automatically get one of these the moment one or two people from that town have articles — such a category is not created until the number of people who can be filed in it already overtops WP:SMALLCAT right at the outset. Propose Deleting Category:Fictional Mediterranean people

Nominator's rationale: Per WP:NONDEFINING and WP:SUBJECTIVECAT

There is no real world Category:Mediterranean people category and the Mediterranean race article has multiple definitions. Now, I'm open to fictional-only categories when there are unique topics (cyborgs, mad scientists, etc.) but I'm not seeing a clear fictional thread holding this together. Grouping French Canadian superhero, an Egyptian mummy, a Greek Australian merchant and an Italian American organized crime boss into a container category seems unlikely to aid navigation. - RevelationDirect (talk) 03:35, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
