Wikipedia:WikiProject Cue sports/Wanted cue sports events
(Redirected from Wikipedia:CUEEVENTS)
Wanted cue sports events articles: A list of needed articles or at least stubs on major tournaments and other events in the field.
International
editPriority should first be given to those that are the most redlinked from other articles, and then by breadth of area covered and/or notability to the sport(s) covered.
- Cue sports at the Masters Games (overview article like Cue sports at the Asian Games, but for the World and regional Masters Games; expand to regional/world separate articles, year separate articles eventually, but just one to start with would help)
- World 14.1 Continuous Championship (linked from from Luther Lassiter, Jimmy Moore, and others; predecessor of modern World Straight Pool Championship, and presently redirecting to a section at that page, but should probably be its own article; see also American 14.1 Straight Pool Championship, another successor event.)
- World 18.1 Balkline Championship (redlink from Jacob Schaefer Sr., Jacob Schaefer Jr. and Willie Hoppe)
- World 18.2 Balkline Championship (redlink from Jacob Schaefer Jr., Welker Cochran and Willie Hoppe)
- World 28.2 Balkline Championship (redlink from Jacob Schaefer Jr.)
- (Those three balkline ones above could be wrong; could be American, not World, in which case the articles need edits.)
- International Challenge of Champions (pool) (redlink from Chao Fong-pang, Thomas Engert)
- International 9-Ball Open (redirects to United States Professional Poolplayers Association#UPA Tour)
- IPT World Open Championship (redlink from Thorsten Hohmann, Dennis Orcollo; redirect should exist at IPT World Open Eight-ball Championship)

- International Speed Pool Tournament (redlink from Speed pool, Bobby McGrath)
- World Summit of Pool (redlink from Santos Sambajon)
- World Pool League Championship [1] (redlink from Dennis Orcollo; redirects should exist as PartyCasino.com World Pool League Championship and Partycasino.com World Pool League Championship)

- World Cup of Trick Shots (redlink at Trick shot, Mike Massey, Stefano Pelinga, etc.; exactly like Mosconi Cup but artistic pool instead of nine-ball; sponsored by ESPN, and probably televised each year)
