Question from Billal3110 (19:59, 1 December 2024)
editHow can I publish my article? --Billal3110 (talk) 19:59, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Billal3110; welcome to Wikipedia! You can read about why the draft that you submitted for review was declined in the message that the reviewer left on your talk page. For the article to be published, these issues would have to be resolved. Please let me know if you need any clarification or have any further questions! Question from Mamabear7421 on Olivia Dahl (08:43, 5 December 2024)
editHello I am Olivia Dahls sister Tessa. We both had measles and due to my beloved sisters death - I believe that many children were vaccinated. FYI someone is going too far and trying to discount me. Same with my page in which my entire very successful and immensely tough career keeps being deleted and accused of “no source” . How do I get this sorted. --Mamabear7421 (talk) 08:43, 5 December 2024 (UTC)
- Hi, @Mamabear7421; welcome to Wikipedia! It looks like you're referring to the article Tessa Dahl (please let me know if this is incorrect!). There aren't any particularly recent edits that I can see to this article, and it doesn't look like you've made any edits through your account, but I think you're referring to these edits from May. If this is all correct, there are a few things that I'd like to note: As you are the subject of the article, I would also like to encourage you to read our guidelines on editing with a conflict of interest. This is not implying that you have done anything wrong; I just want to make sure you're aware of these guidelines so that you know what to expect. Specifically, editing the article yourself is strongly discouraged for editors with a conflict of interest. Please let me know if you have any further questions, or if there are specific changes you would like to make to the article. Tol (talk | contribs) @ 22:37, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and all of its information is supposed to be verifiable through citations to reliable sources. This means that, even if some information is true, Wikipedia is not going to include it unless it has been documented in reliable sources.
- The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds the content to the article. This means that, even if something is verifiable in reliable sources, it's the responsibility of the editor who adds the content to show that it's verifiable by citing the source. If there's no citation, the information is likely going to be removed.
- Even if some information is verifiable, and even if reliable sources are cited, editors might still decide not to include it. For instance, we may decide that the information is not particularly relevant or important, and does not contribute to Wikipedia's goal of creating an free, high-quality encyclopedia.

editCan you add a task that removes {{Draft article}} in mainspace? I just did them with AWB but this task does not need human supervision. It would be more elegant if it could work based on a category. See Wikipedia:Village_pump_(technical)#Add_new_category:_articles_in_mainspace_that_contain_template_"Draft_article". Thanks, Polygnotus (talk) 06:06, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- Sure, @Polygnotus; I'll look into implementing this when I have some time. Tol (talk | contribs) @ 22:09, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you, no hurry. Polygnotus (talk) 22:10, 7 December 2024 (UTC)
