editHi Mike, welcome back! Let me know if there's anything I can do for you, especially if you still have some questions about combatting vandalism. Thanks, and best of luck in your return. EWS23 | (Leave me a message!) 17:25, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

Merging and references
editWhen you do merges, make sure that you keep any references in tact. If an article uses the Cite.php system (like Sexuality of Adolf Hitler), you have to include the <references/>
tag in the article, or the footnotes won't work properly. If you have any questions, I'd be glad to help. —Seqsea (talk) 01:54, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
About WP:CIV
editI noticed that you have some concerns regarding my behavior on Wikipedia. I encourage you to take them to my talk page and not post them on the AfD nomination. By the way, if you really want to develop an justified opinion on this subject, you should check out all of the conversations between User:Crzrussian and myself.
I know that sounded a bit harsh, but I am not particulary fond of how people are unfairly jumping into conclusions regarding situations that they have little to nothing to do with.
Thanks for understanding. -- ßίζ·קּ‼ (talk | contribs) 06:48, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Lists of farms in Oppland
editThe vote for deletion of Lists of farms in Oppland ended in nonconcensus. As a result, I propose moving forward after considering the varous comments in the discussion. As you were one who voted for deletion, I'd be interested in understanding what you think appropraite criteria to merit inclusion in a list might be. Thanks - Williamborg 20:56, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

editA short Esperanzial update
editAs you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.
As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.
Thanks and kind, Esperanzial regards, —Celestianpower háblame 16:00, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:DanJurgens.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:DanJurgens.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Deletion review
editIt's July 18 now (we use UTC and it's now about 0155, July 18). I'll delete your July 17 application because (as I said in my edit summary) it's been moved to July 18. --Tony Sidaway 01:56, 18 July 2006 (UTC)
I've listed him at WP:RFCU. We'll see what happens there. Ryūlóng 00:18, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
- Well, supposedly the first attempted to get "our" (referring to the company) account deleted. Ryūlóng 00:36, 19 July 2006 (UTC)
Check User
editAnd then there are the additional users I've listed. Is there anyway to go onto IRC and get someone to checkuser? Ryūlóng 00:06, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you. And I may be finally able to use the crappy Blue Canoe Records logo if this set ever gets a WP:LTA entry XD. Ryūlóng 00:14, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
Hi Mike. Not sure why my new request skipped past your request. Perhaps the case is more complex and they are still analysing the dat? Mine only involved Anwar and two IPs. Thanks, Blnguyen | rant-line 01:49, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- Danke for showing me. Ryūlóng 01:56, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
- Well, it might be harder to prove Doctorteddynewman, as he appears to have a (semi)-unrelated IP (although still based in Atlanta, where Mr. Moore and Ms. Frieske call home). Ryūlóng 02:03, 20 July 2006 (UTC)
Blocked
editI have blocked you for twenty-four hours for creating the impersonation account Bluecanoe2 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · nuke contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log) for purposes of disruption and harrassment. Kat Shoob
editJust offering my apologies for my choice of words on the Kat Shoob deletion nomination. I didn't intend to offend I was just a bit annoyed as I put a lot of work into the article which was about a notable person. Clearly now you made a simple mistake and I'm sure you have learned from it. Again I am sorry and I hope there are no hard feelings. SenorKristobbal 19:54, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- Just so it's on record the above AFD is now at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kat Shoob (2nd nomination) as "second nomination" was causing AFD issues, Thanks. –Davey2010Talk 22:54, 15 February 2017 (UTC)

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Burj_dubai.jpg)
editThanks for uploading Image:Burj_dubai.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fritz S. (Talk) 14:26, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Wotwnovel.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Wotwnovel.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 10:24, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Template:User Buckeye
editA tag has been placed on Template:User Buckeye requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
If the template is intended to be substituted, please feel free to remove the speedy deletion tag and please consider putting a note on the template's page indicating that it is substituted so as to avoid any future mistakes (<noinclude>{{transclusionless}}</noinclude>).
Thanks. --MZMcBride (talk) 22:24, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for File:DanJurgens.jpg
editThanks for uploading or contributing to File:DanJurgens.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
