Expansion of WP:A-League
editHi Normy132,
Just thought I'd let you know there is currently a proposal to expand WikiProject A-League to include all areas of football/soccer in Australia, including the NSL, A-League, Socceroos, state leagues and more. A more formal proposal page can be found here. Please indicate whether you support the idea or not at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject A-League, and also add your 2c about what the new project should be called. Cheers! – AlbinoMonkey (Talk) 04:12, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

Did I read that right - an Australian supports Celtic ! :) I am a Glaswegians Celtic supporter and I was wondering do you ever manage to see the games?
Cheers and regards,

Notability issues
editHi Normy. I thought I'd let you know that the sockpuppet who nearly got the PCW article into trouble, and cost us the Chucky article is possibly at it again. He's nominated Trikki D, Slikk Steev, Carlo Cannon as well as the recently created Rack Dogg and unbelievably Greg Bownds for deletion. Hopefully I can get the AfD's shut off - although really I can only see Carlo and Greg being rescued, because they are the only ones who have done anything really notable. You might have noticed I prodded Craig Cole - which is the correct procedure. CURSE OF FENRIC home talk usage 08:39, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Professional wrestling in Australia
editWhy is 192.204.106.2 deleted massives amounts of relevent data from Professional wrestling in Australia eg. the Televised Programs? WackadooXanadu 03:20, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
RE: Catagories

My bad
editSorry about that, my editing is ability is limited since I am stuck using my Wii to get online. You can revert if you want, but that link for Sting is pretty much proof (Sabin has no proof though). TJ Spyke 02:46, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
The Fabulous Kangaroos
editNormy, it's Curse of Fenric (not logged in) - Roy Heffernan and Al Costello's title reign was in the 1960's, before the current title timeline which started in 1971. So don't link the title reign to the current titles on Raw (that's why I changed your link back because it gives the wrong impression - and it's also why I removed the fact tag as I assume you thought I was talking about the current tag team title presently held by Edge and Randy Orton). I'll look into the tag team titles in the WWWF in the 60's in detail if I can but it's a hazy time historically. But I know I saw the note about the tag titles somewhere and I'm sure it was for the WWWF. 124.181.130.42 09:42, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
http://flamevault.com/~marino/wrestling/wwe/belt_worldtag.html Takes into account a line pre the formation of the WWWF officially in 1963, but it's likely it was defended in it's predecessor Capital Pro Wrestling. Use that on the article if you like. 124.181.130.42 11:53, 30 January 2007 (UTC)

Collaboration of the Week
The Pro Wrestling Collaboration of the Week for November 11 - November 17 is World Wrestling Entertainment. Please help to improve it to match the quality of an ideal Wikipedia professional wrestling related article. The next article for collaboration will be chosen on Sunday, November 18. From the Editor
Welcome to the inaugural edition of the WikiProject Professional wrestling newsletter! I hope this will be a good source of news to those people interested in what's happening around our pro wrestlimg community. I plan to release it every Sunday. This newsletter will just be a way to get the community announcements to people who don't have the time to check the mesageboards, as well that to those just curious about the news. The newsleter will consist of a project news section (to do with what's happening on Wikipedia), and a current events section (relating to news in the "real world"). The newslette will also contain the Collaboration of the Week announcement. That's all. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please post them at this talk page.
