Why did you delete my three articles:

1. 07:23, 27 June 2006 Harro5 deleted "Barenblatt v United States" (CSD A8.)
2. 07:23, 27 June 2006 Harro5 deleted "Burton v Wilmington Parking Authority" (CSD A8.)
3. 07:22, 27 June 2006 Harro5 deleted "Trustees of Dartmouth College v Woodward" (CSD A8.)

These are legitimate articles concerning key Supreme Court Cases and were created from my personal notes from a graduate course in Constitutional Law I took last fall. I searched for these articles in Wikipedia and found that there were no pre-existing articles with these titles, so I added them. Please let me know what the issue is. Thank you.

History of Guatemala

Hello, The content uploaded recently on the History of Guatemala entry is part of a student wiki project on Latin American revolutions underway under my supervision at the University of Toronto. While the material was posted by a single student, Joanne Amaral, the work comes from a collaborative group that has worked hard over the semester to craft entries to address gaps in the wikipedia on the topic. I realize that wikipedia conventions were not followed and that some of the materials may not be appropriate for posting. However, to my knowledge none of the entries have been plagiarized. The students will be working to revise the entries and they will be uploaded at a future date in a manner more in keeping with wikipedia protocol. I note that the the user Joanne Amaral has been indefinitely blocked. What would be the process for having a user unblocked? All Girl Summer Fun Band

I'd like to challenge the speedy deletion of All Girl Summer Fun Band. You were the admin who deleted it, so I came here. I can establish their noteability according to WP:MUSIC, and will edit the article to reflect that.

According to WP:MUSIC, one of the criteria must be met, and I can show that agsfb meet two of them.

Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable). Has been featured in multiple non-trivial published works in reliable and reputable media (excludes things like school newspapers, personal blogs, etc...).

They've released both of their albums through K Records, an important indie label which was founded in 1982 and has had plenty of noteable bands, like Beck or Modest Mouse. http://www.krecs.com/html/artists/disco.php?interest=1

Additionally, their albums have been reviewed by both Pitchfork and PopMatters, which are both well regarded critics of indie music. Featured Article protection

I'm not sure if you're aware, but lately there has been complex vandalization on any given featured article in which a certain user creates a thow-away sockpuppet in order to post personal information concerning a certain administrator in an edit summary. Every time the featured article is unprotected, the user returns and forces people such as User:Freakofnurture and User:Kungfuadam to go through the tedious process of removing the edit from the edit summary. Administrator Coaching The Administrator Coaching program is a program aimed at preparing Wikipedians for Adminship or helping them understand the intricacies of Wikipedia better. Hey, you almost certainly don't still remember this, but back in December you deleted CEDA-NDT intercollegiate resolutions, one of the first articles that I created on Wikipedia. Admittedly, I knew almost nothing about Wikipedia at the time, and, given the crufty title and content, I can't blame you for the deletion. However, the article was not a copyright violation as intercollegiate debate resolutions are not copyrighted. The webisght mentioned is not commercial and certainly not the "owner" of the list of resolutions (Wake Forest is just the current hoster of the National Debate Tournament webiste). I was wondering if you could please userfy me the content as I think that it might be useful for a History of policy debate article or an Intercollegiate policy debate resolutions article. Although I haven't yet decided exactly how to use it (I almost certainly won't simply repost the raw list), but I think that I could find some use for this, and I don't want to have to retype the whole thing (or all the wikiformatting). I'd appreciate some help over at Eton College. An edit war is rapidly emerging between the proponents of two different sections of the opening paragraph: 1)The King's College of Our Lady of Eton beside Windsor, commonly known as Eton College or just Eton, is a prestigious and internationally known independent school for boys, which is often described as the most famous school in the world. Version 1, without the citation, was the original version until recently, when 207.172.223.214 inserted the second sentence in version 2, later adding the third sentence. I initiated a discussion on the talk page about this to which you contributed, and no-one at all has argued against my view there. As I'm not that experienced with Wikipedia, I wondered if you could tell me what to do next. At the moment it just looks like the page is going to continue to change several times a day, which clearly isn't desirable.

207.172.223.214 has also been persistently trying to insert some very POV material stressing Harrow's fame at Harrow School (e.g. here])., and it's clear to me that they have a strong pro-Harrow agenda. They've inserted the same statement at Winchester College as well.

You just deleted Family law in England & Wales - FAQ, created by User:Kittybrewster, with the reason of "CSD A1", just as I was about to tag it with {{prod}} as "Original research by definition; violates the legal disclaimer." As you can see, I do not object to the deletion per se, but I am concerned that you saw fit to speedy it - it was definitely not patent nonsense, but a very intelligible (if unencyclopedic) FAQ on various legal issues. Was just hoping to get some sort of explanation as to why you deleted this article? At first it ewas tagged for lacking imprtance but after talking to the person who placed this tag he made some investigations and removed the tag. It seems strange why you would delete this article without even having a discusion on the subject? George Trosley

My article was NOT about the "local hero" hockey player. George Trosley is a notable cartoonist and artist whose work has been published regularly in CARtoons Magazine, several other motoring magazines, and Hustler; he also has a book How To Draw Cars that was published. I'm not sure if you deleted it, but a search for the name George Trosley only brought up your talk page archive. I didn't want to re-create the article and risk having it speedied and protected. Kenneth G. Ross

Dear Harro5, from all of your hard work, I am assuming that you are well-known to, and have lots and lots of influence with those at CGA and, especially with Ian Wilkinson and Don Wirth. I have a request for you that you may be able to respond to, and I am making it directly to you on the basis that you are so web-savvy and so Wiki-savvy.

As a consequence of my trying to correct a serious and long-held misinformed view in relation to 'Breaker' Morant (film) and Ken Ross, I have also added certain things to the Kenneth G. Ross article and it suddenly struck me that the article would be very greatly embellished if a photograph of Ken was placed within the article about him.

I recall that the Schoool magazine in 1957, 1958, or 1959 had a stupendous picture of Ken finishing an 880 in CGS athletics uniform with David Clark's dad standing at the finish post. (It might have been a meeting that CGS had competing with Glenhuntly Athletics Club ??)

It was such a tenacious finish by Ken and the picture is a wonderful token of his courage and determination. As I recall, the picture was taken by Don Wirth (and was, I suppose, the only picture that I have ever seen of Don's that was better than his photograph of "Cheese" Harrison in full flight as a bowler).

My request of you is this: are you able to check whether the CGS archhives, or Don himself, holds a copy of the picture, and could you with al of your skills and savvy, engineer things such that the picture can appear at Kenneth G. Ross. I would be really grateful if you could. I am a long way from Melbourne, and it would be awfully difficult for me to be able to do such a thing myself (especially since I really don't know how such things are done).

BTW, relating to the discussion on Nanjing -- and I remember Simpkin well, and he drove you mad with his constant "When I was in China" -- did you know that the R.H. Mathews, which the CGS discussion page mentions attended the Elsternwick Congregational Church in King Street (which was the same church that Chris Christiansen's (alumni) father served as the MInister)?

Whedonesque "importance" tag

Please see my comments on the Talk page for Whedonesque.com in response to the addition of the tag.

I don't think it warrants the "importance" tag (the tag has always had this implication to me of "I think this article should be deleted as non-notable", though I'm not quite sure why, given the seemingly neutral wording...), but I'm not sneaky enough or annoyed enough or whatever to remove it, despite not seeing how it somehow comes off as "unimportant". I tried my best to indicate why it was notable - it's a frequently-cited, obviously incredibly well known website within all of the Joss Whedon-created fandoms, which Whedon himself (whose works are almost across the board critically-acclaimed, frequently best-selling, and rarely less than significant, if not downright influential cult hits, with both the Buffy/Angel and Firefly series having influenced science fiction and fantasy series that came after them, including the Emmy-winninnew version of SciFi Channel's Battlestar Galatica, which directly takes its filming style from Firefly's as well as using many visual effects methods that were ground-broken, if you will, by Firefly), uses to post news and comments on the canonicity of certain releases, things he quite often does not post elsewhere before he posts it on Whedonesque.

But, I'm going to be redundant here. I have an explanation on the Talk page that has further details to support my claim that the article does establish the site's obvious notability, just not in any greater detail than you'd expect from a stub (which is why it IS a stub). If you feel the need to discuss it further - for instance, advising me on which ways it manages to (to you at least) not convey the site's importance, or whatever else you feel should be brought up.

I just really wish you had posted to the Talk page. I would suggest that any time you mark any article with a tag, you post briefly to the Talk page explaining why you tagged it as such, because it would clear up a lot, believe me! :)

Apologies ahead of time, by the way - I was caught a bit off-guard by the unexplained "importance" tag, so I may or may not sound rather snippy in my comments due to that and being rather tired at the time of writing, and I probably sound a tad defensive (mostly because, well, I am defending a position ;) ), and I may or may not come off as really overly-wordy and even snobby; this is the way I talk, so it's not like I wouldn't react to a lot of other similarly unexpected challenges (and defending a particular position as to an article's "importance" does feel like a challenge, in that it's challenging to do it properly) in the same way, and it if I come off as such, it's nothing personal, I assure you! :)

Basically, what I want most is an explanation of exactly what and why the tag was added, as the tag itself is very vague, especially in light of the article itself, I would say. Caulfield Grammar School

I made some changes overnight to the alumni list. I had already put come in a long time ago (e.g., Chris Christianson) long before I was registered. I note that somebody had complained in the past that a number of those listed came up as red, rather than blue, with the implication that they were not sufficiently famous. For example, you will find that Chris Gahan has been in local politics for a very, very long time. A very long time ago, when he was still a very young man he was mayor of Prahran. So, even though he may not be so important in a Global ssense, he is certainly a Grammarian that has served his community well. The same with Alastair Chisolm and the Elwood bank. Regarding Geoff Bade, I'm sure that you'll be able to find some sort of internet link that refers to his renown within the world of fashion. As a tip for you, you might find it useful to trawl through obituaries that are printed in the newspaper. They will often indentify someone as old CGS. Royal Grammar School Worcester

Hi, you opposed this article recently when it was a FAC. I've added a fair bit to it, and generally tidied it up. I've currently got a peer review open on it here and would welcome your comments regarding its chances for as a FAC. I'm not keen to stick it up again on FAC, only for it to be opposed again, and to have proven to have renominated it again too early. I'd very much welcome your thoughts on the article as you, and Scm83x seem to be the resident school article experts. I should point out that I'm hoping to get some pictures of Perrins Hall, which is mentioned in the article, added but that is about all else I've got planned. A short Esperanzial update

As you may have gathered, discussions have been raging for about a week on the Esperanza talk page as to the future direction of Esperanza. Some of these are still ongoing and warrant more input (such as the idea to scrap the members list altogether). However, some decisions have been made and the charter has hence been amended. See what happened. Basically, the whole leadership has had a reshuffle, so please review the new, improved charter.

As a result, we are electing 4 people this month. They will replace JoanneB and Pschemp and form a new tranche A, serving until December. Elections will begin on 2006-07-02 and last until 2006-07-09. If you wish to run for a Council position, add your name to the list before 2006-07-02. For more details, see Wikipedia:Esperanza/June 2006 elections.

I'm not attacking Golbez

Golbez has a problem with me saying that the Nazi medical experiments are as appalling as the Final Solution. That is crazy. It seems like Golbez is a neo-Nazi if he has a problem with that. How can there be no mention of Mengeles and Hitler's order to destroy Germany under the "Legacy" section?

Also, the introduction section had no reference to Hitler's inbred geneology until my contribution. That is a fact. It is also from The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. How long before Golbez removes this?

Hitler's legacy

I'm sorry but it is regoddamneddiculous that the Nazi medical experiments are not mentioned in the "Legacy" section. If Hitler's legacy is his evil, and Wikipedia argues for dispassionately describing it, there is no excuse for this absence of historical fact. Since Hitler was inbred, are you claiming it is a POV statement to point this out? Are we not to make a statement on the fact that his parents were second cousins?

M.U.S.H.A. Aleste

(Hi I'm new to Wikipidia) I having trouble trying to clairfy what the problem with this article. Originally I type the article for the title was called M.U.S.H.A. but relies that the game is actully called M.U.S.H.A. Aleste, so i change the title. As stated in the Talk:Michigan Superfan discussion, it was to be expanded on. Patience is a virtue that needs to be demonstrated and not thrown away into a trash receptacle with no regards at all. The article itself is valid and factual, and a mere steping stone in bringing forth important history relating to the Maize Rage organization. Lots of people can see it as junk, but then again there is alot of junk I see on wikipedia I care not about. However, I don't act brashly and discredit them as useless and violating wikipedia. open your eyes and see that without a seed, a tree cannot sprout from the ground, thus without a seed, information cannot grown and be expanded on so the world can see its beauty.

presidential rankings

you keep adding in the 'Noted for' column in Bush stuff about economic policies creating the largest natl debt in history, followed by an article. Instead, could we keep it simple, its a couple of stuff he's noted for, not a full biography. Something like "increased national debt", tax breaks. I'm not saying what you posted isn't true, I'm just saying it looks bias the way it is worded. 2ndary school IB better than your proposed use of Aust school infobox on SGS

I disagree with your proposed use of the Aust school infobox and elsewhere. The current Secondary school infobox is used standardly across GPS, CAS and ISA schools and therefore should stay. It is the most comprehensive infobox there is as per my talk on the SGS page, while the Aust school infobox is quite limited in its capacities and not very streamlined. A-League 2006-07 Newsletter I

Introduction The first ever Wikiproject A-League newsletter is here! The 2006-07 A-League season will bring the usual enjoyment and fanaticism that only football/soccer can create. This new season also means a lot of (currently-open) tasks that require completion throughout the course of the next 21 weeks. Position Ladder A Position Ladder will be placed on each team page, which will provide an up-to-date visualization of the current A-League standings. However, problems may occur when Position Ladders aren't updated with the new statistics that don't involve matches of the team whose page the Position Ladder resides on. To remedy this, a base Position Ladder will be created, which will be located at {{2006-07 A-League Position Ladder}} (link). Please update this as soon as possible after the match has ended, as this will keep the Wikipedia community informed. A few notes regarding the base Position Ladder:- Please do not substitute the Position Ladder template on the team pages, as it won’t get automatically updated if you do. Please only update the Position Ladder at the end of a match, and if there is any large dispute about the result, do not add it, but instead wait for an official report by the A-League confirming the result. When updating, make sure to adjust all of the below fields:- The played field – add one (eg. 13→14 etc.) Either the win, loss or draw field, depending on the result for that team.
