Signing talk page posts

GisselleK, Wikipedia has a quick and easy way to sign your talk page posts. At the end, just type 4 tildes (~~~~). The system will then automatically replace that with the signature from your preferences page. Hope that helps! Ravensfire (talk) 19:10, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

• About your signing problem, it looks to me that you're signing like this: --Giselle ~~~~~ instead of using only the 4 tildes like this: ~~~~

Thank you for your response. I have used 3,4 and 5 tildes to no avail - even tried pressing the signature button. I think it must be a glitch. But someone else suggested I change my nickname - I am going to do that now and I hope that works. Giselle 06:38, 1 April 2011 (UTC)
