Proposed deletion of Antec Kuhler H20 620

The article Antec Kuhler H20 620 has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Sharad Pawar slapping incident

I've declined the speedy deletion request of Sharad Pawar slapping incident since I don't see this being an attack page, and it clearly asserts notability and provides [{WP:RS|reliable sources]] to show some level of notability. At the least the article needs to go to AfD for a wider discussion. Thanks, Sparthorse (talk) 06:52, 27 November 2011 (UTC)

User:Flyguy33 and his right of rollback

Dipankan, I found you on the discussion thread of users requesting rollback, so I assume you're an administrator who can give and take those privileges. I wanted to alert you to User:Flyguy33 and his use of rollbacking, because I don't think he knows how to use it and it might be worth retracting his ability until proven otherwise. Please see the history of Template:Penn State Nittany Lions football navbox. He made an edit in which he went against WikiProject College football standardization for team navboxes, so User:Jweiss11 simply undid that edit with a reasonable explanation: "program navboxes are not intended to list individual people". Within one minute of Jweiss' edit, Flyguy rollbacked it. It's a totally inappropriate use of rollback and Flyguy shows that he doesn't know when and when not to use this privilege (keyword privilege, not right). Thoughts? Jrcla2 (talk) 16:49, 27 November 2011 (UTC)

Hi,Jrcla2.A good one,but let me tell you that I am not an administrator, but a rollbacker.I have participated in many discussion threads for requests for permissions;and clearly do not remember when did I participate in User:Flyguy33's request. Can you please, give me a diff link to it,if possible?I have notified Swarm with the issue;I hope he may help you out.I clearly understand his intention,it's a complete abuse of the tool.By his reversions,I think so he might use it for Edit warring.Needs to have the tools removed. That's me! Have doubt? Track me! 12:05, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
I do not know when he requested it, all I know is that he has it. Thanks for letting an admin know, so we can see what to do from here. I'll await to see Swarm's response. Jrcla2 (talk) 13:59, 28 November 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Pellichesukundam

Hello Dipankan001. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Pellichesukundam, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: no valid reason provided for speedy deletion, see WP:CSD. Thank you. —SpacemanSpiff 17:02, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

Thank you

I'm not planning to send thankspam around, but I wanted to thank you especially for participating in my RfA. If you ever need help with any admin actions, feel free to let me know and I'll take care of it as best I can. Hopefully it'll be your RfA I get to support in the future. tenure

Hi, I noticed your comment in a recent RFA "1 year of experience is mandatory for all RFA candidates", and I was wondering what you were basing that on. My understanding is that there are no official minimum requirements, though there are some suggested ones and some unwritten rules such as having a minimum three month gap between RFAs. Is there a new or draft policy somewhere that you were basing that on or did you mean to say that your personal criteria includes only supporting candidates with 12 months tenure? ϢereSpielChequers 09:19, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

I clearly do not remember where I saw that, but it exists. That's not mandatory, though, but it was written like this "RFA candidates should have more than 2,000 edits and at least 1 year of experience."Sincerely,Dipankan001.That's me! Have doubt? Track me! 09:26, 8 December 2011 (UTC)
OK I suspect that was probably someone's personal RFA criteria. Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Nominate tries to warn people off if they only have three months tenure, and somewhere else suggests that 6 months is a de-facto minimum. I think its a while since we've had anyone pass within a year of their first edit, but there have been several who passed by huge margins who I suspect could have passed many months earlier, and if anyone was to suggest formalising 12 months as a minimum it would be controversial and I would hope it would be rejected. There are editors whose personal criteria for RFA !voting is more stringent than the norm in various respects, and if your opinion is that editors need 12 months tenure then you are free to say so and oppose candidates with less. But may I suggest you phrase it more along the lines of "candidate has x months tenure, I prefer to see at least y months for z reason, happy to reconsider when you've been here y months". That way it is clear that this is your criteria and not the community's and if people are interested they can reopen the discussion as to what minimum tenure is appropriate. Cheers. Re

What rights are you looking to get? The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 03:03, 9 December 2011 (UTC)

The guidelines for autopatrolled state that you should create about 50 articles before you get it; I'm willing to go down to 30. When you hit that, let me know; in the meantime, I can give you AWB access, which is tremendously helpful for a lot of things. The linked page describes its most common uses, and I've used it for somewhat less orthodox purposes as well; it's a very useful tool. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 23:13, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
Glad I passed your test, it was a good one. My offer to give you AWB access still stands; let me know and I'll add you to the list. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 00:14, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
You should be good to go. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 12:40, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
When you open it, look around for something that tells you you aren't logged in; you need to log into AWB separately. Use the same username/password combination you have for Wikipedia, and you should be set; if you're still having issues, ask at WT:AWB; it's well-watched by people more technically oriented than I. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 16:06, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
I'll recheck when I get home; right now, I'm on a computer which doesn't support AWB at all. I remember having a hard time finding it when I first opened it too, if it means anything to you. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 16:15, 12 December 2011 (UTC)
Sorry for the wait; when you open AWB, you need to click the "File" dropdown menu in the top left corner. One of the options is to log in, and that's where you need to go. The Blade of the Northern Lights (話して下さい) 18:46, 15 December 2011 (UTC)

Matthew Kite

Hi. I see you removed the CSD A7 tag from Matthew Kite; However, the reference you supplied does not assert notability. With articles like this you need to check that the subject is a fully professional player in a major league club. The creator made this article by copying and pasting an article from somewhere else that already had a CSD template on it. If you can find refs that support the claims, it may be alright to keep, otherwise if you are in doubt, I suggest you send it to AfD.--Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 06:53, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

Hi, Dipankan001. I noticed your edit summary here, and thought I should remind you that AIV is the place to report spammers - take a look at the first line in the instructions box. No worries though, the user in question was already blocked. Cheers, Parsecboy (talk) 11:40, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

You're not wrong, but,It is written "This page is intended to get administrator attention for obvious and persistent vandals and spammers only".Holidaygclub was not a persistent spammer;he had only one contribs. Is it now okay? That's me! Have doubt? Track me! 11:44, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
I didn't look into the account in question any further than seeing he was already blocked - I don't think we have any problems here. Keep up the good work. Parsecboy (talk) 11:58, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

Closing RMs

Hello Dipankan. I see that you recently tried to close a RM at Talk:Godzilla. I've tidied up your close so that the discussion no longer appears on the requested move log. In future, please follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves/Closing instructions, specifically removing {{Requested move/dated}}, and using {{subst:RM top}} and {{subst:RM bottom}}. May I also suggest that you actually participate in some RMs before you start closing them – well non-admin closures are certainly not discouraged it is generally expected that the closer should have some degree of familiarity with the RM process. Best, Jenks24 (talk) 12:34, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

Also, please note that, like the majority of Wikipedia's processes, RM is not a vote count, but is a discussion where the closing admin should assess the consensus. Jenks24 (talk) 12:38, 11 December 2011 (UTC)

Grammar

Hi - I don't know if English is your first language, but I wanted to point a continual grammar mistake on your part. After pretty much all punctuation marks, (commas, periods, etc), there is a space. So, quoting from your talk page banner, "Hi.You are welcome to post your query here;or steal some codes from here.I will respond to your query soon." should be "Hi. You are welcome to post your query here or steal some codes from here. I will respond to your query soon." (also note the removal of the semi-colon.) As this is an encyclopedia which we try to bring up to the highest standards, I would recommend that you learn some more advanced grammar. Happy editing, "Pepper" @ 21:38, 12 December 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for pointing that out.I use Indian English, which is a little different for British English and American English. That's me! Have doubt? Track me! 15:14, 13 December 2011 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) I think what User:Pepper was trying to say is that written English is written English. A space is required after punctuation marks. If you you don't leave a space, it makes it harder to read and understand what you have written. Pol430 talk to me 11:57, 30 December 2011 (UTC)

Hi. In Dushman Mera (Don 2 song), you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Loy (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:27, 17 December 2011 (UTC)

I'm sorry for this, but I thought a page on the popular singer Loy would be there.OK,No problem.

Collecting flags

This is just your latest request for a new userright; after applying for rollback over, over, over, over, over and over again, finally finding an admin who granted it, you sought autopatrolled once and twice, despite clearly not meeting the required threshold (of which you were aware), and then you also asked for (and got) the file mover bit. Please stop! These rights are not prizes, titles or honours. They are simply tools to help you edit. You should not apply for flags you're not ready for and that you don't need. Salvio Let's talk about it! 17:47, 17 December 2011 (UTC)

I have to second this message. Your incessant requests for user rights that have already been declined are inappropriate. Frankly, the seven requests for rollback over the course of a month (before you found a sympathetic admin) made that abundantly clear; the three requests for Autopatrolled are just the icing on the cake. I explained our 50 article standard, as well as the fact that Autopatrolled will not help you after your first request. Therefore going to a brand new administrator and making a second request for Autopatrolled and claiming that it will be "extremely helpful" I found to be fairly bizarre. But making a third request for Autopatrolled a few days later was just ridiculous. You need to stop requesting user rights. Trust me: the new page patrollers can handle your article creation level (there are far more active article creators who don't have that flag), and you have rollbacker and file mover, so you should no pressing need for any other user rights right now.
