The article Urvashi Rautela has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Citation is not fully correct according to the information on this page and only one citation is added by the creator.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Param Mudgal (talk) 12:28, 17 November 2013 (UTC)
Irony
Well this GA review should be one for the doubters. Considering some editors moaned at my approach throughout the 2013 article, with some saying I was "being a dictator". Proof is in the pudding. It took longer for the Ga review to be done on ESC 2012, because of all the editing problems etc. The fact that I took that advice on board and made sure the 2013 article maintained a high standard, and the fact that the GA review for 2013 is virtually a pass, well it says it all really. I was never dictating after all, I was making sure the article kept a high standard, which has helped it get a fast GA pass. I'm all smiles here. Wesley Mᴥuse 01:44, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, you are no dictator but a devoted Eurovision fan who just wants the best article possible. I would say that those who called you a dictator now should just be silent and never write that again :-)--BabbaQ (talk) 20:38, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
- And now ESC 2011 is on the verge of GA status. A few areas that need attention, this may need a bit of team-work to get those areas up to scratch quicker, as there is so much to work on. Wesley Mᴥuse 21:56, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
Well, I think I've proven a point now. If you may recall at the RfC for ESC by Year articles, a lot of the suggestions that were put forward were by myself. Those in turn got implemented onto the ESC 2012 article, which reached GA - and that was the first time in the history of Project Eurovision that an annual article achieved GA. The layout style was then used again on ESC 2013, and again that reached GA. I purposely left ESC 2011 in a raw format, using the suggestions made by those who were against my own views. And look what has happened, 2011 article gets a fail. Sums it up really. What I had suggested, works perfectly and achieves GA on articles that I implemented them onto. The suggestions of those who clearly have a problem against my ethics, obviously do not work, as one article using their ideas produced a rapid fail. I'm sure you can work out a conclusion from that research. Wesley Mᴥuse 01:33, 18 November 2013 (UTC)

Article titles/Archive 1
The amusing thing is that when I delete one of these pages, I'm automatically asked "Do you want to delete the talk page too?" Normally the talk page would qualify under G8, "dependent on a deleted page", and of course the software doesn't realise that the talk pages, e.g. Talk:Mark Hamill/Archive 1, are subpages of an extant talk page :-) Nyttend (talk) 05:20, 31 January 2017 (UTC)

Playbill.com links
Hi. I saw that you tagged some Playbill links as dead. Playbill respelled *all* of its archives, so tens of thousands of links in Wikipedia to Playbill.com will give a 404 message. But the articles are all archived, and all you need to do to find them is google the title, and they'll come right up. It would be better to do that than to tag them as dead links. All the best, -- Ssilvers (talk) 03:24, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
Dead link tags in Atlanta
Thanks for checking the links in the article Atlanta. But can I ask that you please be more careful in using the automated tools like Checklinks to do this? You inserted a large number (46) of these into the article Atlanta - and many of them seem to be erroneous. Four of five of the factfinder.census.gov links are working just fine. One link to spelman.edu already has a "webarchive" template immediately after the link. I don't dispute the article could use some cleanup in its references, and I'm working on it. But I'm now spending additional time to remove erroneous tags too. I thank you in advance for your future diligence. --Krelnik (talk) 16:34, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
Checklinks
Checklinks is fundamentally broken. I spoke with the author Dispenser and he said it had to be rewritten and he didn't have time. I asked who was using it and he said only a couple users, you are most active. I'm seriously considering asking the community for consensus to shut it down. If you continue using it, carefully check every edit as very often it is wrong. Adding dead links where they don't belong is disruptive and they are a lot harder to remove then add (diff). Also, we now have much more sophisticated tools like IABot which automate dead link checking .. it monitors links over a 4-week period and only then decides if it's really dead, due to short-term outages. Then it replaces with an archive version, and only when none is available does it add a dead link tag. -- GreenC 18:48, 19 February 2017 (UTC)
- Yes for sure. If it is something wrong with it I will simply not use it until all bugs are fixed. And if I use it I will look at the dead links carefully.Cheers.--BabbaQ (talk) 21:35, 19 February 2017 (UTC)

Edit summary
Hi BabbaQ, just a note to say that the automated edit summary didn't match your edit here. Best, SarahSV (talk) 00:47, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
- Oh, thanks. Yes, that looks weird. As it simply was a small improvement on the ref format.--BabbaQ (talk) 00:49, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
- You're welcome. Because it's automated, I thought you'd want to know in case it's replicated elsewhere. SarahSV (talk) 01:10, 27 March 2017 (UTC)
Hi, it seems to have happened again. [2] Also, the links seemed fine as they were.
In fact, some or all of these are live again: The Telegraph has, or used to have, a habit of breaking links, so googling the title often produces a live link. SarahSV (talk) 23:13, 28 March 2017 (UTC)

Do you speak Swedish?
I'm going to need a translator to do some major translating for the interface in preparation to get the interface deployed for the Swedish Wikipedia. Are you interested?—CYBERPOWER (Chat) 14:18, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
- I want to say yes. But I feel like you better contact someone with proper knowledge about this matter. So the translation goes smoothly. May I suggest contacting Saftgurka, Kaiketsu or J 1982 whom I think have more knowledge of the technical aspects. But please do not hesitate to contact me if you have anything you want me to translate in the future (i.e wordings, articles) and other aspects of Swedish articles. Regards,--BabbaQ (talk) 20:16, 29 March 2017 (UTC)
- Well actually, I would hand you a JSON, very easily understandable, and you change the English text to Swedish. It's rather large, so more people are welcome. Pinging Saftgurka, Kaiketsu, and J 1982—CYBERPOWER (Chat) 09:14, 31 March 2017 (UTC)
- User:Cyberpower678/IABot Management Interface/JSON to translate is where I placed the language file for the en language. If you and maybe some of your friends could translate this, I would greatly appreciate it. It's quite simple. Don't touch the keys, left-hand side, and only translate the values, right hand side. If you bork the JSON syntax somehow, it will not let you save so, it should be easy to spot what was borked.—CYBERPOWER (Around) 20:40, 5 April 2017 (UTC)
- I have translated as many as I can knowingly translating them right. I will try to contact some other editors and ask for more help.--BabbaQ (talk) 21:08, 5 April 2017 (UTC)
- I will take a second look at it this afternoon after work. And also try to inform more editors about it. --BabbaQ (talk) 06:25, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
- I lightened your load a bit. I found a better way to extract wiki names. I'm able to just pull that from the MW parser on login. I hope this helps to lighten your load a bit. :-) I would like to get this installed within 48 hours so I can move forward with svwiki deployment. IABot is getting deployed to svwiki within the next 96 hours.—CYBERPOWER (Chat) 12:15, 7 April 2017 (UTC)

IABot on svwiki
With IABot now running as intended on svwiki, maybe it's time to advertise the use of the interface over there. Thoughts? The interface is now in Swedish.—CYBERPOWER (Chat) 12:10, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, I agree fully with you about the interface. The interface would probably be used plenty by the Swedish wikipedians.--BabbaQ (talk) 18:46, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
- MediaWiki:Histlegend has the wiki code needed to make the tool appear in page histories.—CYBERPOWER (Around)
- Might I suggest that you try the bot at Simple English Wikipedia as well, at least in the future. It is very similar to English Wikipedia and has plenty of dead links. Oh, I hope the tool can appear soon. Let me know if I am missing something, like if there is something I can do :).--BabbaQ (talk) 22:29, 19 April 2017 (UTC)
- While I may be able to add the tool here, only administrators can add the tool there. I gave you the name of the page that an admin needs to access over there. All they have to do is add

.—CYBERPOWER (Chat) 13:34, 21 April 2017 (UTC) - BTW, I get the impression you prefer Swedish as your primary language. You can now change the interface to Swedish for your account, and also access the Swedish Wikipedia with it. All the tools for enwiki are functional there.—CYBERPOWER (Chat) 14:15, 21 April 2017 (UTC)

Splitting discography sections into separate articles
Before splitting any more discographies off into separate articles, please consult WP:SIZESPLIT. Small sections on pages less than 40 KB in size do not need to be split. I understand it's a trend on Wikipedia these days to just split off any discography section, but it's not a necessary practice. Thank you. Ss112 14:56, 10 May 2017 (UTC)

Hi, I know your position is pretty clear from the rest of your comment, but just dropping a note that to make tallying on a very long AFD easier and less prone to errors for whoever eventually closes up the AFD, you might want to fix your vote on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/2017 NY Times Square attack, since you voted support (instead of keep or delete), which, by itself, is ambiguous: support keep or support delete? —Lowellian (reply) 18:56, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

Thanking you and how did you do that?
Hi, thank you for adding that link to the Melanie Carpenter article on the List of people who disappeared mysteriously solved cases section. Did you get that from the newspaper archives? If so how did you link it so it went right to the article? I don't yet know how to do that. Davidgoodheart (talk) 08:34, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
