Welcome!
editHello, I am known Gears of War, I am a part of Wikipedia and I would like to welcome you to Wikipedia, here is some stuff you should know and some links to follow.
Wikipedia's official policies and guidelines can be summarized as five pillars that define the character of the project:
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia incorporating elements of general encyclopedias, specialized encyclopedias, and almanacs. All articles must follow our no original research policy, and strive for verifiable accuracy: unreferenced material may be removed, so please provide references. Wikipedia is not the place to insert personal opinions, experiences, or arguments. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information. Wikipedia is not a soapbox, an advertising platform, a vanity press, an experiment in anarchy or democracy, or a web directory. It is not a newspaper or a collection of source documents; these kinds of content should be contributed to the Wikimedia sister projects.
Wikipedia has a neutral point of view, which means we strive for articles that advocate no single point of view. Sometimes this requires representing multiple points of view, presenting each point of view accurately, providing context for any given point of view, and presenting no one point of view as "the truth" or "the best view". It means citing verifiable, authoritative sources whenever possible, especially on controversial topics. When a conflict arises regarding neutrality, declare a cool-down period and tag the article as disputed, hammer out details on the talk page, and follow dispute resolution.
Wikipedia is free content that anyone may edit. All text is available under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) and may be distributed or linked accordingly. Recognize that articles can be changed by anyone and no individual controls any specific article; therefore, any writing you contribute can be mercilessly edited and redistributed at will by the community. Do not infringe on copyright or submit work licensed in a way incompatible with the GFDL.
Wikipedia has a code of conduct: Respect your fellow Wikipedians even when you may not agree with them. Be civil. Avoid conflicts of interest, personal attacks or sweeping generalizations. Find consensus, avoid edit wars, follow the three-revert rule, and remember that there are 6,918,000 articles on the English Wikipedia to work on and discuss. Act in good faith, never disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point, and assume good faith on the part of others. Be open and welcoming.
Wikipedia does not have firm rules besides the five general principles presented here. Be bold in editing, moving, and modifying articles. Although it should be aimed for, perfection is not required. Do not worry about making mistakes. All prior versions of articles are kept, so there is no way that you can accidentally damage Wikipedia or irretrievably destroy content. Remember, whatever you write here will be preserved for posterity. |
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! Gears Of War

Hi there. I just want to remind you that you can talk in the same section more the once. For example, you didn't need to make a new section. Just indent with these ":". Mm40 (talk | contribs) 14:48, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
Images
editWell I gather that you have learnt the very basics of wikipedia, so to deal with your question about images.
Firstly images are linked by this little line of text. [[Image:Example.jpg]], as you can see its just like a internal link, except it contains "image:" and then the file name. This is the result of the line of text above:
To display a picture, it needs to be uploaded onto wikipedia, using the upload dialog.
There is a multitude of free images that you can use on your user page on wikipedia located at wikimedia commons], just search anything in and you should get some images you can use on your talk page.
Now a little challenge for you, I am going to place an image on your user page, and what you have to do is find a free image of your own choosing on wikipedia or wikimedia commons or even upload your own image and then replace my image with your chosen image. Got that?
If you need more information, check out this page, and when you have completed this challenge drop me a line on my talk page.--Kerotan-Have a nice day :) 15:52, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Ah yes, I almost forgot, image of the day or picture of the day. Picture of the day is like the featured article box, only for, yes you guessed it, pictures. There is a group of people who go out searching for the finest pictures on wikipedia, and these pictures are then featured on the front page. If you want to have the picture of the day on your user page, add {{POTD protected}} on to your user page.--Kerotan-Have a nice day :) 15:59, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
- Its no problem, I am hear to help.--Kerotan-Have a nice day :) 23:02, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
Hey
editHi <name not disclosed>. You should start making some article contributions. Also, I linked to that website on your userpage. Head my recommendations, I'm awesome. Mm40 (talk | contribs) 12:26, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
The way do things
editHey there again, just a drop in message from your adopter, after adopting 2 other users you have the benefit of me learning from my mistakes on the other 2 users, and after 2 users of refinement, I have a system worked out (if a little basic). Basically, I want you to go out there into the dark wastes of wikipedia and press its buttons, go on, I actively encourage it, hit random article a few times for example and find a article you can improve, and then if you find you find something you don't understand or need help with drop me a line, because I discovered with my second adoptee, try to explain everything in wikipedia is really difficult and incredibility boring for both parties. I am not going to set you daily tasks or anything like that, I don't want to turn your time on wikipedia into a second school. Editing wikipedia can be fun, and I want to make sure that it is. So go on, explore wikipedia, edit articles that you have an interest in, and ask me lots and lots of questions.--Kerotan-Have a nice day :) 14:04, 15 June 2008 (UTC)

Nice!
editYour article is longer then any of the articles that I've created. I have moved it to the right page, and assessed it on the talk page. I'll look over it again to see if there are any other fixes I can make. One thing I'd suggest to you is writing it as if it's fictional. I know it is fictional, but at times it can sound like it's real. Mm40 (talk | contribs) 20:28, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
- No, just go ahead and start the new article. There are so many articles being created, no one can give permission to everyone who starts one. But since wimpy kid is a somewhat small project, you should probably drop a note on their talk page. Have a good day :) Mm40 (talk | contribs) 20:14, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

So....
editI heard from someone that you don't want/refuse to talk to me, which I'm fine with, I just would like to know why really, did I do something that horribly offended you or something, or ignore you? Please let me know, because I mean well, and if you have your reasons that's, fine, I just want to know what those reasons are, so I improve myself, even if your reasons are ones that you can't disclose.--Kerotan-Have a nice day :) 00:20, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Anyway, Mm40 is pretty capable to teach you things as opposed to my more lassiez faire aproach, but feel free to drop me a line any time. And yes, I will sign your guest book.--Kerotan-Have a nice day :) 22:50, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Re: Quick question...
editThis is a good place to start [1], and also #cvn-ep-en runs a nice live feed of suspicious changes, and people who are making blacklisted edits, one tool which is very useful is huggle, leave that running, and it will flag up page blanking, people who are vandalising pages who have been previously been warned, pages which have been vandlised recently, etc That is all for now, I'l give a update in a while.--Kerotan-Have a nice day :) 23:17, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
Re: Socks and bots
editYou already fail on one count, that is that you have flesh, since bot is short for robot, an account that runs independently, and maintained by its user creator, to perform boring/repetitive tasks like anti-vandalism, and page tagging. the other term sockpuppet, is applied to users who operate more than one account to edit, more often than not, use it to edit maliciously, however you are allowed to have a sockpuppet, as long as you declare on each user page, that they are linked to each other.--21:47, 1 October 2008 (UTC)
Welcoming
editHey there. I noticed that, when welcoming Troled1, you signed using a username that wasn't yours. It's generally advisable that you avoid doing this, because it causes quite a bit of confusion, especially when the signature you use links to the page of someone who's retired! In the future, use 4 tildes (~~~~) to sign your posts, so that everyone knows who's sending the message. Cheers, Ale_Jrbtalk 20:24, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

The Modern Art Barnstar
editHi Nutiketaiel, it’s me, Artichoke-Boy (from MOTD).
I noticed that you’ve created some professional barnstars. I would really like to make some, too, and I recently created an outline for one called The Modern Art Barnstar (which can be awarded to anyone that makes a significant amount of contributions to articles relating to modern-art):
Do you think that this can pass as a real barnstar? Do you think people will get the Andy Warhol reference? If you don’t like something about it, feel free to criticize, by the way. Artichoke-Boy (talk) 21:16, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for the compliment on my Barnstars. :-) Hmmm... I didn't actually get the reference (though, after a little research, I see what you're going for). I don't think it's a great idea for two reasons- first, it looks like you're awarding someone 4 barnstars at once, which makes sense for something like the Teamwork Barnstar, but not so much for one on modern art. Secondly, the reference is too oblique. Most people won't get it unless they have an art background. I would suggest a reference that is more instantly recognizable, something that would immediately make people with little or no artistic education leap to say "Oh, that's modern art." For example, take an image of a can of soup, replace the "Campbell's" with "Barnstar," put an image of the Original Barnstar in place of that golden seal thingy in the middle of the can, and replace the type of soup at the bottom of the can with "Modern Art." The soup can reference has been used so much in pop culture that it is instantly recognizable, even to someone who hates modern art. If the soup can idea doesn't work for you, try taking the Original Barnstar, then putting an apple in front of it and a bowler hat on top. That one has also been represented so frequently in popular culture that almost everyone is sure to get it. If you don't like either of those ideas, try another piece of modern art that is extremely well known in popular culture, something instantly recognizable, and really slap people in the face with the reference. That's my suggestion, anyway. Nutiketaiel (talk) 12:48, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hi there, passing through and found this discussion and more or less agree. I did get the reference because you called it the "Modern Art Barnstar," so ya know! I like the idea - I would suggest a fusion of it with Nutiketaiel's suggestion by making several soup cans with a barnstar on each, to better evoke the Warhol feeling that you're going for. My two cents added, I'll be on my way . . . --otherlleft (talk) 17:44, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Nutiketaiel, Artichoke-Boy again.
Thank you for relying in such detail. Although I like your ideas for improving the barnstar a lot, I think I might have some difficulty with carrying it out. It's kind of embarrassing, but I don't know anything about combining 2 Wiki-images into one. Do you think it's possible if you can tell me how you've done it with your barnstars so nicely?
Thanks again for your help,
Artichoke-Boy (talk) 20:22, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- Otherleft's suggestion of multiple soup cans is a good one, and I suggest going with it with regards to multiple cans of soup. As far as combining two images, it's not that hard; I myself am not terribly skilled when it comes to graphics. Simply copy the images you need from Wikimedia, then open them for editing in Paint, then copy, paste and resize from one to the other. Use the text feature in Paint to replace the writing as you see fit, then save the new image (a .png file is usually best) and upload it back up to Wikimedia, being sure to credit in the description of the new image the creators/uploaders of the original images you used. Also, make sure you only use actual open source images for your new barnstar; a fair-use image is not appropriate. I'm not sure about the copyright status of the images of Warhol's paintings on Wikimedia, but if they're not open source, I'm sure you can find a picture of a Campbell's soup can that is. I hope that helps. Nutiketaiel (talk) 21:10, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, that's so simple! I should have thought of that! Thanks for telling me how to combine images...I'll tell you when my barnstar is fully published (I can see a hobby forming...). Artichoke-Boy (talk) 22:03, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- AHHH, wait! I can't figure this out! How do you upload 2 pictures saved on "My Pictures" on one Paint document??? And even when you construct a barnstar there...how do you upload it on to Wikimedia???? I'm sorry if I'm pestering you...I just really want to make a barnstar. Feel free to wait in your response if you're busy with other things. (Also, all of the pictures relating to your suggestions are "fair use" images, so I can't use them! That means I'm going to have to come up with another idea for a barnstar.) Artichoke-Boy (talk) 22:44, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, that's so simple! I should have thought of that! Thanks for telling me how to combine images...I'll tell you when my barnstar is fully published (I can see a hobby forming...). Artichoke-Boy (talk) 22:03, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
- Ha ha ha, calm down little buddy. ;-) OK, there is a free image of soup cans available here- commons:Image:Campbells.jpg. Like I said, it doesn't have to be Warhol's picture, specifically, that you work from. Any free image of a campbell's soup can will do. When looking for images, your best bet is to go directly to Wikimedia Commons and search there. There are also green apples available here, here and here. There are also a bunch of Bowler hats here to choose from; all you need to do is cut out and paste the best one. Natutrally, the original Barnstar can be found here, and many others can be found to choose from here, here, here and here. Just choose which one you like and work with it from there.
- Now, regarding your other questions- you can't, to my knowledge, directly open more than one image file in the same paint document. If you want to combine them, you open them both in seperate paint documents, then cut and paste from one to the other. Let's take the soup can, for instance. You would need to open three paint documents- the one containing the soup can, the one containing the Barnstar, and a blank one. Start with the soup can- choose which one you want to use as your base, then use the select tools to copy it from the original image. Then, paste it in the blank paint document. From there, zoom in and use your eraser to trip around the edges until you are left with just the paint can, no extra stuff around the edges; do your best to make sure the image is clean around the edges of the can, so it will look more professional! Next, use your pick color tool (the little eye dropper looking thing) to exactly copy the specific red color used for the top half of the can. Once you have that color, select the fill in tool (the paint bucket) and fill in the "Campbell's" letters on the top half of the can. This will give you a clean slate to write with. You can do the same with the word "condensed," but that's up to you. It may be funnier to leave it in; your call, its your barnstar. Then, using your text tool, select an appropriate fancy-shmancy cursivey font and write in white letters (being sure to allow the original background to show through the gaps in the letters) "Barnstar" or "Modern Art" or whatever you want on the top half of the can. Then, repeat the process for the name of the soup on the bottom (again, your choice whether you leave "soup" there or not). Finally, when you have the can looking the way you like, go back to the file with the Barnstar, copy that (being sure to copy it so that blank spaces in the copied image will be filled in with the existing background of the destination image) and paste it over the seal thing in the middle of the can. Now, the images will be of different sizes, so be prepared for some trial and error to bet the two resized appropriately. Remember, it is always better to make a big image smaller rather than a small image larger- it will end up looking less fuzzy that way. Anyway, once you get the sizes right, you should be all set. If you want to take otherleft's suggestion and have the Barnstar include multiple soup cans, open a new blank paint file, copy and paste your completed soup can into it multiple times and arrange them however you like. When you are finished, save your file as a ".png" file (I find that that works pretty good for Barnstars) with an appropriate name (Modern Art Barnstar or something similiar).
- Now remember, these design suggestions are exactly that- suggestions. This is your Barnstar- make it look however you want. :-) Maybe you want it to be a can of Campbell's Condensed Barnstar Soup. Maybe you think it will look better with no writing at all- just the distinctive can design with a Barnstar on it. Whatever works for you- be creative. This is modern art, after all (just please, for the love of Eris, no melting clocks. They're SO difficult to work with. ;-) Though, if you're up to the challenge, a barnstar with clocks melting on it WOULD be a great image... but I digress.
- Anyway, once it's completed, it's time to upload it to Wikimedia Commons. If you already have your account active there, great. If not, go here to learn how to activate your English Wikipedia account on the rest of the Wikimedia projects and here to actually accomplish this feat. Regardless, once you have your account set up there, sign in to Wikimedia Commons. From there, go to Special:Upload and follow the steps provided. If you need help, try the help link on the left hand side of the page. Be sure to credit the original creators or uploaders of whatever images you used (which can be found in the info pages for those images) in the appropriate section of the form, and to add the appropriate category (Barnstars) to your image- it's all right there on the form, and the little question buttons are very helpful for this sort of thing.
- Well, that should about do it. I hope that that helps; if you have any questions, feel free to ask me (or the friendly folks at Wikimedia Commons). Have fun. :-D Nutiketaiel (talk) 13:23, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- Nutiketaiel…quick message, I need a response ASAP! I have completed everything, and my barnstar is complete, but when I put in all the info to upload it into WP: COMMONS, everything shows…except the image (I put in the source right, though, using “Browse”)! Now, when the instructions explain a “preview”, it says: This will not upload the image yet. Does that mean it will not show the image, or it wont save the image???? I need your help! <:O Artichoke-Boy (talk) 22:05, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
- I'm afraid I don't understand the question. If you are asking why the image is not showing when you hit "preview," that's because it doesn't upload the image for a preview- it will only upload the image when you actually create the page. It doesn't mean you've done anything wrong. If that is what you were asking about, I hope that helped. Otherwise, I'm just not understanding what you're trying to say here. Nutiketaiel (talk) 13:02, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- So... did it work? Nutiketaiel (talk) 14:59, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- No, it still didn't work! I don't think COMMONS likes me...it stops me from uploading an image at every turn. After you told me that the image doesn't show when you hit "preview", I tried to upload it again, but a warning came up in red that said something along the lines of "Image is defective" or "Image is undergoing connection problems"...I forget. Anyway, I'm going to try again either later today or tomorrow (I do have a lot of homework to work on, as well). I’ll let you know if it does or doesn’t work next time (keep your fingers crossed!). Artichoke-Boy (talk) 20:51, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- Ah. Well, good luck with it. We've reached the limit of my Commons Wisdom, so if it keeps giving you trouble, you'll have to ask somebody over there for help. Let me know how it turns out. Nutiketaiel (talk) 23:31, 28 November 2008 (UTC)
- Hi Nutiketaiel...It's me again. I just have to add one more question to my seemingly two million: If my barnstar image gets uploaded, do I need to nominate it to a consensus-based proposal page before making it into a professional barnstar, or can I just go ahead and add it to Wikipedia's main barnstar page? Thanks for being such a big help. Artichoke-Boy (talk) 20:02, 30 November 2008 (UTC)
- Well, that depends. If there is a specific Modern Art Wikiproject that you are creating this Barnstar for, you should get consensus from them before adding it, since they will be using it, and it would go on this page- Wikipedia:Awards by WikiProject. If there is no specific Wikiproject, they you can go ahead and be bold and add it to this section- Wikipedia:Barnstars#Topical_Barnstars, if you don't think the award will be contentious (which it probably won't); after you add it, put it on the talk page so that the project can discuss it if they want. It is possible that they will want you to move it to Wikipedia:Personal_user_awards#Topic-related_awards, but that probably won't be the case; modern art is a pretty broad topic. Just don't add it to Wikipedia:BARN#General_Barnstars, because topic-specific Barnstars don't belong there. Nutiketaiel (talk) 13:00, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
Artichoke-Boy, thank you for the Barnstar. It really means alot to me; I'm just sorry that I couldn't have been more helpful, and that your Barnstar ultimately didn't upload. Maybe if you emailed the file to me, I could try uploading it for you. Might that work for you? Nutiketaiel (talk) 12:46, 2 December 2008 (UTC)
Hey, I never thought of that! I guess that could work if it's my computer that wont let me upload the image and the actual image. If you're willing to give me your email address, I'll send it to you as soon as I can. There's just one thing that I should mention:
I originally came up with the "Modern Art Barnstar" idea because I thought that I could create it without uploading any new images. I’m not going to give up on the idea, but if I can now upload images through you, can I possibly put a better barnstar idea into action after this one (assuming that this one loads properly) by emailing it to you? I've thought of one: The Essay Barnstar…awarded to those who have made (an) outstanding or influential Wiki-Essay(s). Artichoke-Boy (talk) 22:12, 3 December 2008 (UTC)
- I don't mind at all. I'm not going to put my real email address here on Wikipedia, of course. When I get home, I'll make a new yahoo or gmail or whatever address to use just for Wikipedia stuff, that way it doesn't matter if it gets spammed to hell and gone. I'll post the address after I create it (which will be after I get off work and get home and such, so expect it at around 1800-ish EST or so). If you have trouble with uploading future images, I won't mind helping you out from time to time, but let's not make it a constant thing- I'm a Wikipedian, not a vending machine. Sleepy Hollow
editHey, nice job on the Sleepy Hollow template. I have it somewhere on my to-do list to make the Headless Horseman character more focused on the Washington Irving rendition, as it's really gotten off-topic in a lot of ways. Thanks for reminding me that it needs doing. If you like scary things that have a vague association with pumpkins, feel free to stop by WikiProject Halloween.--otherlleftNo, really, other way . . . 23:51, 27 November 2008 (UTC)

Retiring
editHi Nutiketaiel,
I apologize for the sudden change in plan, but I want you to call everything off (concerning the Modern-Art Barnstar). I can't explain it here, but personal matters have caused me to retire from Wikipedia. I hope you haven't gone through too much trouble, and I apologize again if you have and for any inconvenience. Don't feel that your image-advice was for nothing, because it was still a very useful and kind thing for you to do. Bye (it's been fun). Artichoke-Boy (talk) 20:52, 8 December 2008 (UTC)
- I'm sorry to hear that, Artichoke-Boy. I've enjoyed working with you, and if you do come back, I hope to do so in the future. Good luck. Nutiketaiel (talk) 19:26, 9 December 2008 (UTC)

Complaint
editHey, Artichoke-Boy. Please respond when you can. I think Morgan Spurlock should have done the smart and right thing, which is to have went into the area Osama could have been hiding in and finished him off, EVEN IF IT MEANT COSTING HIM HIS LIFE. I'd do that if I could, regardless and I would find each way I could in there, break my back, smack guards away, even if I get in there wounded, and continue untit that stupid, moron king was dead, slain, causing what feels like Al-Qaeda power to float away from people until they are all dead! editI have nominated Final Ninja series, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Final Ninja series. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Rollback
editI have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe I can trust you to use rollback correctly by using it for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. editI gladly accept this "haward/honour", and with many-many-many thanks, but I think that there are many people who deserve that {{MOTD Barnstar}} from us (e.g. Simply south, Nutiketaiel, Juliancolton, Spitfire, La Pianista...). Chanteuse
editHi Artichoke-Boy, just so you know, I removed the PROD from Chanteuse and instead turned it into a redirect to the Wiktionary entry, which I think should solve things; I know this has been done for lots of other words, too, such as idk. If you think the page should be deleted regardless, you can nominate it at WP:RFD, although personally I don't see any need to delete it now that it's redirected. rʨanaɢ talk/contribs 20:33, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Re: My new article
editI was unsure as to how to answer this, so I asked an administrator, and this is pretty much what she said.
It's not exactly WP:CRYSTAL, because it's not distinctly relating to something in the future, but it's in the same vein. Creating an article based on "official speculation" is still, literally, speculation. While it might not be a bad topic, publishing into the mainspace right now wouldn't be the best idea. I suggest you put the article is your userspace after you're done writing it so me/more informed editors can take a look. I'm not particularly familiar with the subject, so it might be perfectly legitimate to create the article now, but it's sounding like potential AfD material. It'd be sourced, but there might be concerns about the speculative tone to the entire topic. So I'd suggest writing the article, posting it somewhere like User:Artichoke-Boy/CARET, and telling me (via Wkipedia or not) when you want another few pairs of eyes. Mm40 (talk) 18:45, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
Re: From Artichoke-Boy
editNo, I would think navboxes are great to de-orphan something. I think current consensus is that navboxes indeed help to de-orphan articles. However, you may run into the problem of a "walled-garden", meaning that all articles in the navbox only link to each other within the navbox and don't link to anything outside of the navbox. But I would say go ahead with whatever this was about. Mm40 (talk) 21:27, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Re:The Mango
editAfter looking at it, I think it's closer to start class than stub, so I'll reassess it. For further improvement, I suggest referencing the awards/nominations section, expanding the Reception section (adding more reviews), and try to incorporate the trivia into the other sections. Also, I'm not sure about the quote section. Mm40 (talk) 20:07, 26 September 2009 (UTC)

Re: The Sniffing Accountant
editUnfortunately, the article is not expanded enough. Also, the plot summary is way too long. Seven paragraphs should be cut down to about four. You do not need to give a full description of every single scene. Only what's directly germane to the plot. For example, why is "...and felt her gabardine jacket between his thumb and forefinger rather seductively. The conversation then jumps to Jerry’s new sweater, which he found in the back of his closet." important? For more info, see Wikipedia:How to write a plot summary (which has come under fire for being too exclusive, but it's better than being too long). Also, chop out the trivia section. The second (and maybe last) item should be incorporated into a production section. Cheers, Mm40 (talk) 22:25, 15 October 2009 (UTC)

editHi, I noticed you have been editing Seinfeld episode articles, keep up the good work. I don't know for sure, but it appears that you are struggling a bit with article formatting (no offense if you aren't), anyways, I intend to create a season 2 featured topic, 10 of 13 article are already promoted or well on their way, so perhaps they could inspire you with work on later season episode articles. In regards to your reversal at Big Sky Wildcats, the only editor who contributed content blanked the page. We should respect that, and apply the G7 template to it. In other words, contrary to the template you placed on the editor's talk page here, there was no "blanking" in the vandalistic sense of the word. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve.
