There's something strange though; the account hasn't edited for months, and looking at the userpage and older edits, I see no indication that this person is a vandal. Compromised account possibly? Acalamari23:49, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
I wondered the same exact thing when I was looking into whether to use a template or not on the userpage. Due to the nature of the vandalism, I did decide to use the template, but I couldn't find anywhere that you'd run into the editor before, so found it odd they targeted you... Ariel♥Gold23:54, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
Interesting. That would appear to tie the two together, looking at the vandalism to your page and this edit. So, perhaps this is a sleeper account? Just odd, because previously the account seemed to be focused mostly on vandalism fighting, not perpetrating... Ariel♥Gold00:01, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, not that my opinions are worth much, but I did add my thoughts above to the ANI thread, just so it is clear you're not the only one who wondered about it. Ariel♥Gold00:12, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
That's a possibility; I'll see what other users think about a block. Oh, and ArielGold, your opinions are very valuable, so don't worry. :) Acalamari00:21, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for getting back to me, its not the capitalization, its the break between the words (the two genres) User:Twsx wants the comma (like on the example, see here) and User:Scipo wants a line break
I have also looked on scipo's contributions, and he has been changing all the info boxes, and I (personal opinion) think he needs to be stopped (blocked from editing, not banned ;-p )
p.s. I LOVE your user page/user talk page they look lovely!! XD
Hi Philip! Thanks for your kind words! And yeah, the change is doing both things though, removing the comma/line break, and removing/adding the capitalization. I would still suggest that you request the editors specifically come discuss the issue on the article talk page, and you could make a section on the talk page for the discussion, and that may go a long way to helping the editors work it out. Both ways seem valid to me, and an example isn't a hard and fast rule, but I'm also not one to edit musical bio pages, so I'm unfamiliar with how the majority of them are done. I'd say that requesting the members of WikiProject Music or Project Biographies, perhaps. I'm a member of the Biography project, but I mostly do academic bios, and haven't really worked on any musician bios except one, which ironically, uses the comma, but also has mixed non-capitalization of some genres, with capitalization of others... (note to self: look into guidelines)... Anyway, I do hope you can get it worked out, without having to give them warnings, or report to 3RR noticeboard, but those links are there for you on WP:EAR should you require them. Let me know if I can be of any further assistance. Cheers! Ariel♥Gold21:00, 4 November 2007 (UTC)

~*Giggle*~ You are more than welcome to stop by here any time you need assistance. If I'm not around (and normally up top, it will say I'm online, it says I'm sleeping now because I'm about to go to sleep, lol) someone else will quite likely stop by to help you, but I'll always answer once I'm awake. Good luck with that RfC, I'm not sure I have anything I could offer to clear things up, as it seems you've got a better idea of the scope of the problem, but just remember, if you get upset, get up, walk away, and count to ten. Then, use the preview button before hitting enter on a reply, and read it from the viewpoint of someone else, to be sure you don't come across in a way you don't intend. From what I see, you're an extremely kind and considerate editor, so I am sure that won't be a problem, but if you've not had a lot of experience with RfCs, they can occasionally get heated, and so a cool head is always a good idea. Again, feel free to holler if you need anything! Ariel♥Gold22:02, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
Why Thank You Darling ;-p would love to talk but I think I need sleep as well, I need all the beauty sleep that I can get!! XD
Hrmm, at first glance, I doubt it. The areas of editing and activity, not to mention knowledge level don't seem related at all, and Navnløs just seems to have the same opinion of how the infobox should be. Sockpuppetry is a pretty serious claim, not one to be taken lightly, and in this case, I don't see a clear link that would back that up. Navnløs has a much longer, more diverse editing history, uploads images with proper licensing, so knows policy fairly well. Granted they both seem interested in the music area, but I don't think that's unusual. Did you ever let scipo know you'd filed an RfC for him? He really should be notified of that. For now, I'd just suggest a nice note to Navnløs, asking him to the talk page and explaining the reasons why the current WP:MUSTARD guideline says it should not be done the way that he's doing it. That's about all I can suggest. Ariel♥Gold23:05, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Question: does 'hunk' still mean 'good looking guy' in Americanese, or is there a better/newer tag? Thank you too, Shir-El too00:49, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, that's what I came up with basically, although I missed the part about Islam, hrmm. Yes, Hunk still means "good looking man" (at least to me lol). There were some edits on this user's page that another editor translated as... well, not exactly nice, so I was wondering if I'd translated this correctly or not, lol. Thanks dear Shir-El! You're welcome. Israelis, especially Sabras, can come across VERY brash in translation - sometimes it's for real and sometimes it's unintentional, a normal conversational tone. What does 'trolling' mean here? Bye, Shir-El too01:04, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Trolling means trying to bait someone into a dispute, so they lose their cool and get in trouble or just because the troll likes causing trouble. — Rlevse • Talk • 01:06, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, generally a "troll" is someone who is not really here to help, they tend to say things to stir up trouble, or flat out insult others. Overall not very nice people, generally speaking. Ariel♥Gold01:16, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi again! Found some better images of Eilat and a map on Wiki Commons. Now how do I go about 'importing' them into the article? Also, may I dump that reference (2)? I really think it obfusticates more than it explains. I'll add a link to the Suez Crisis somewhere, as it gives a great deal of good geopolitical background. BTW, shouldn't someone at WikiMedia update this spell checker to include names like: Wiki, WikiMedia, Wikipedia, etc., etc., et al and so forth?? Buzzing off to bake something caloric and habit-forming during my 'night shift': last night pot roast, night before oatmeal squares, Friday morning banana-raisin-rum bread pudding! Good thing I can't send it over the Internet! Will be back soon, Shir-El too00:33, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
LOL Yes, you'd think that the spell check would realize Wiki is not spelled wrong, hee hee. Images on commons are exactly the same as here, no need to change anything, just add [[Image:name.jpg|thumbnail|Your caption goes here.]] and they'll show up even if they're on commons. I don't recall what the [2] reference is, but if you don't think it works or helps, go ahead and dump it :) Too bad you can't send the goodies over the 'net, lol I'm finally getting my apetite back, ~*Giggle*~ (And hey don't know if you saw, but feel free to translate that Hebrew above if you want to) Ariel♥Gold00:35, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes, the water was very warm and very clear. I actually felt rather safe in Eilat for some reason. Most of the time I was in the midEast I could not help but worry about some bomb going off. Thanks :) The way I have that line setup is so the grey line splits between the top (with the time/date) and the bottom (with the userpage/talkpage links). The VT Ribbon is supposed to go right in the middle. For some reason over the past couple weeks, I have had to move it down the page ever so slightly. I am not sure if it is because of the "donate" thing at the top or what, but I hope it doesn't look weird on other people's computers. Again, thanks for your help...I guess I will have to learn UTC time. Take Care and Sleep Well...NeutralHomerT:C02:19, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Ahh, yeah, the donation box is probably the reason you've moved it down, and since I don't see the box at all due to how I've configured my .css file, for me, your time bar is in the middle of the big red banner at the top, hee hee. No biggie! Ariel♥Gold11:30, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

I'm sure once the donation bar is gone, the display issues will resolve. I had to remove my custom header due to the strange display problems people would see. that isn't mentioned here... but is this something proper for Wikipedia, or is it too... artsy? If it would be ok, what sorts of references would be appropriate for an article request? Thanks!! :-) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.154.214.92 (talk) 06:24, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
Well, I believe, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this is the same technique used in Murano glass, so I'd think the information about the technique itself could be added to that article, rather than make a whole new article. I wasn't able to find a whole lot of info about it, to build an entire article, but it would certainly help the Murano glass article's context. What do you think? Ariel♥Gold11:34, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
If YOU can't find much info, it must not be out there; it's sure better to have sommerso be part of the Murano article than not anywhere. Would "Colours, techniques and materials" be the right section... or should I just add the links, do you think? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.154.214.92 (talk)
Yeah, Sommerso is the technique used to make Murano glass, so I think that's appropriate. I think the first link (artofvenice) could be added to external links, but the second one probably not, as it is a sales site. I'll keep looking for more info though. :o) Ariel♥Gold12:33, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

{{reflist}} has much more flexibility, with much less coding, it can sort into two or three columns, and it does the small references automatically. It is the newer template, and I find it is much nicer looking, both when viewing the article, and when editing/creating pages. Personal preference, I guess. Ariel♥Gold16:49, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

In the 60's three brash young Sabras went on a trip to England. They were impressed by everything, but especially by everyone's good manners, and in the manner of brash young men they decided to have some fun. They walked up to a man standing at a street corner: "Excuse me, sir. Can you tell us where Kxx Oxxxxk Street is?" (your sister's... in Arabic; at that time the juiciest vocabulary). Without batting an eyelid the Englishman replied: "Yes, of course. You go down this street till you come to Kxx Exxxk Street, then you turn left onto Naal Axxx Lane..." and for the next 4 minutes proceeded to take them on a guided tour of Arabic invective and their personal geniologies that left them red in the face and speechless. At the end of his little lecture he politely tipped his hat and concluded: "Gentlemen: never take an Englishman for granted. I served for 29 years as a Sargent-Major in the Palestine Police Force!" Something like this already exists, actually, {{subst:User:Hersfold/Emoticon|code}}. (Link: User:Hersfold/Emoticon. Additionally, there is the {{smile}} template, but I think these things should be used sparingly, as not everyone appreciates smile boxes, or even graphic smileys. When used, they shouldn't be as big as the ones above, as that causes the text line spacing to be off. Ariel♥Gold15:02, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

My sincere thanks for your support in my request for adminship, which ended with 51 supports, 0 opposes, and 0 neutral. Doubtless it was an error to put one of the government-bred race of pigmen in any position of authority, but I hope your confidence in me proves justified. Even a man pure of heart and who says his prayers at night can become a were-boar when the moon is full and sweet. Fortunately, I'm neither a were-pig nor pure of heart so this doesn't appear to be an imminent danger to Wikipedia for the moment. Fortunate as well because were-pig hooves are hell on keyboards and none too dexterous with computer mice. If ever I should offend, act uncivil, misstep, overstep, annoy, violate policy, or attempt to topple the fascist leadership of Wikipedia, please let me know so I can improve my behaviour and/or my aim. I am not an animal; I am an admin. And, of course, if there is any way in which I can help you on Wikipedia, please do not hesitate to ask me. Despite my japes, I am indeed dedicated to protecting and serving Wikipedia to the best of my foppish and impudent abilities. I will strive to be an admirable admin, shiny and cool, reasonable and beatific. Pigmanwhat?/trail05:57, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Post Scriptum: I believe my collaged graphic at left, which incorporates the WP globe and mop image, falls under the rubric of parody for my purposes here. Or is it satire? Regardless, it's a legitimate and legally protected First Amendment usage under US law. Complaints and allegations that this is an improper "fair use" image will be entertained on my talk page, probably with fruit juice, finger food and exotic coffees.

{{userpage}} <== with this template, how do you change the colour? Or is it a completely different formula? Kaeso Dio22:24, 7 November 2007 (UTC)(edit) cool userpage/whole thing.
Hi Kaeso! And thanks for the compliments, although much of it was inspired by my dear friend Phaedriel. As for the {{userpage}} template, yes you can change the colors, here are the variables and how you'd format them:
Using that code, then choose your colors from this color chart, (the ones in that box are my own colors that I use for my box) and you can change the background and border colors. You can see more details about other parameters here. Hope that helps, let me know if you need any help! Ariel♥Gold22:31, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

Ariel Dear: I took to heart that comment that there weren't any pix of Eilat itself and found 3 that could give a panorama - of sorts. This, the middle one, has too much parking lot in the foreground.
Would you call in your cohorts and see if they can crop the lower 1/4 of the pix? There's a program on the Commons to do it, but I'm just too tired to learn how.
Also, is there any way to line up three pix abreast, Left-Center-Right?
And the map should be opposite the municipal shield, but then it runs into the Table of Contents. Thanks muchly for cohorting! Shir-El too03:18, 8 November 2007 (UTC) Good Night/Morning!
I could edit it that picture in Photoshop. But remember, an image should be used not for decoration, but to illustrate a specific item that the text otherwise cannot sufficiently explain. I don't think this image really gives the reader any greater understanding than the already existent images. The infobox image, the Darb el Hajj image, North Beach, and the airport image (although the quality on that one is icky) are all sufficient to illustrate the general city itself, and the rest of them illustrate specific items of interest. Do you really have your heart set on this image here, the parking lot one? I don't think it really does the city justice, personally, and the article is now if anything, a bit too image heavy. I would probably lose the airport one, and move the Queen of Sheba Hilton image up to its place, if it were me. As for what side of the page, the manual of style recommends right-alignment, or staggered images. Staggering left/right/left images is a challenge though, especially with shorter articles, as there are display issues with left-aligned images for some users who have low resolutions or large fonts, especially when they're placed underneath sub headers. Lining images up like Left/Center/Right is done via galleries, but galleries are discouraged in most cases. It really is not important for the map and the city's crest to be opposite one another, they are still illustrating the items they are meant to. If anything, I'd move the map above the city crest, as for the reader unfamiliar with the subject, where the city is located, is important, but the crest doesn't give any context to the reader, and they most likely aren't going to give it a second thought unless they live there. Now, realize all this is just my opinion, and thoughts about layout per the manual of style, so feel free to discount anything you wish. Ariel♥Gold03:32, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Gallery, perhaps?
You're right about this individual image (and too many images, too), but its the center of a trio that pans SW-W-NW and together shows the North Beach, Marina, city, Airport and hotel area. If I knew how I'd line up all 3 in a gallery mid-article and get rid of some of the others. (That Darb el Hajj is a peach, isn't it? It gives the feel of the desert, with the sea beckoning.)
I agree about the Map too, and would have done it except I was afraid it wasn't quite according to Hoyle.
What say we try both and see if we can get away with it? The Guidelines and Manuals emphasize that they are not written in stone... and this really is to further the article, NOT just to play around with images.
You don't need to qualify your recommendations with "Now, realize all this is just my opinion, and thoughts about layout per the manual of style, so feel free to discount anything you wish." B.S. You are an experienced editor and general maven and nice lady and I'd be a royal A.H. not to recognize all of it! ESPECIALLY when I'm coming to you for help! What kind of a crumb would that make me? LOL I adore you, you know that right? You are just a breath of fresh air! Yes, you're right, nothing is written in stone. :o) And I didn't realize this was a combined panorama thingie. Let me look again at the page, we could do a gallery, but galleries are 4 wide, so we'd have to make it only 3 wide. I'll look at it again. Can we get rid of the airport picture? lol. ~*Hugs*~ Ariel♥Gold16:17, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
So long as I'm not a whiff ...;) Airport picture? "Take it away!" Queen of Sheba Hilton is out along with North Beach: too touristy, and looks like any resort. (!) If the gallery absolutely needs 4 images there's an available bookend: image of sandstone rock formation I caption: Nature's art gallery. BTW I looked up The Andrews Sisters after watching Murder, She Wrote - The Great Comeback of 1965 and got an eyeful: I'd always liked them in an off-hand sort of way... but talk about Women Innovators! Those geese are very worth a gander! G'Night again, Shir-El too02:08, 9 November 2007 (UTC) PS Old rule of survival say: know what rules are before breaking them. Galleries don't need four, but they fit four to a row, that's all. Shave away, lol. The images are there to improve the article, if you can do that by removing or adding images, that's great! Ariel♥Gold02:22, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

LOL Nothing you don't already know, but I did notice your RfA and could not help but put my very insignificant $0.02 in! Ariel♥Gold00:54, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
LOL. My thought is, if someone is opposing, they should provide diffs, and explain their reasoning, yes? Well I think: Why shouldn't that be done when offering a support opinion? It is the same thing with XfDs, to just say you think something should be kept or deleted doesn't help, but to provide explanations, and diffs, and illustrations, that is helpful. Granted, I could be wrong, and maybe Deskana and Raul and Cecropia hate closing RfAs where I've offered an opinion, but I think that it is helpful to know why I choose to offer an opinion, be it support or oppose, or neutral. Plus, I guess we all know by now that I type fast and can drop out a paragraph like that in a few minutes, lol. Ariel♥Gold00:59, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Wow, thank you! You could have nommed if you wanted, all you had to do was ask! I also commented on Friday's neutral, you may want to take a look at that. Thanks! Love, Neranei(talk)01:00, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
You had quite enough nominators, my dear, you did not need any more. And I also think that having too many co-nominators is not necessary, so I'm quite happy to simply offer my ArielVerbosity™ opinion! Ariel♥Gold01:03, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Friday read it, and responded, I can respect their position (don't know Friday, so not sure of gender, sorry), but I also think it is not really an issue, as anyone who knows you, would know you're quite mature. How old did I think you were, 30+? lol. Something like that. Heck, your vocabulary is equal if not greater to mine, and I tend to use a lot of pretty obscure words lol. Ariel♥Gold01:16, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Yes, I read their response, and replied again. Yeah, I believe you said that I was 25-30. Only a few years off... The tubesteak incident was...interesting, by the way. Love, Neranei(talk)01:22, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Hiya dear, I was wondering if you would look into this new username, which I believe is a sockpuppet that you've dealt with before. User talk:MoreGunsInSchools, if you recall, had an RFCN for the username, and created the name User:Every Child Should Carry A Gun! to influence the discussion. MoreGunsInSchools's contributions were focused on the article Frank Lasee, and now a new editor pops up, User:NoMoreGunsInSchoolz on the same article [2][3]. I think it is a pretty safe bet that this is another sockpuppet of that user, so since you were the one that handled the issue earlier, I figured I'd bring this to you, so you could take any actions you see fit. Thanks! Ariel♥Gold23:32, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Wow, great catch! How'd you find him? :) I've indef blocked the user in question; I've absolutely no doubt, between the name, and the contribs, that it's the same user. Thank you, very much! :) SQLQuery me!00:16, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
Also, looks like a checkuser got involved, when he requested an unblock.... Def. a sock, good work! :) So.... um... I hear it's Nov. :P SQLQuery me!03:46, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
LOL Yes, it is November! How about that... ~*Giggle*~ And thanks so much for handling this issue, I was pretty sure it was the same editor, as well. Glad it was taken care of, thanks! (Oh, and how I found it? I take a look at the new usernames pretty often, and saw the account get created.) Ariel♥Gold14:26, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

... upon seeing that Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship/ArielGold does not exist. My guess was that you had asked not to be nominated, but I'm too lazy to read through archives (that, and I really should be studying for my calculus midterm). That being said, if that is *not* the case, I would be more than willing to nom you. Let me know. Xiong Chiamiov:: contact ::21:51, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Hey Xiong! Thanks for your note. You are correct that the page doesn't exist, but you're also correct in guessing that among my messy archives are several discussions about it . I didn't really ask to not be nominated, but just figured that while I've been registered for over two years, I lurked for a long time prior to jumping in to editing, and I thought that it might be best to wait for a bit due to the "lopsided" nature of my editing history. Suffice it to say, I'm thinking about it. Thanks for your encouragement! Ariel♥Gold21:55, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Why, Flyguy, my dearest, have you not ever looked up procrastination in the dictionary? It has my picture there! ~*Giggle*~ Seriously, ugh I don't know. I'm so very sad that Phaedriel is not here, as she wanted to be the one to nominate me, and I very much wanted that as well. I've dropped her an email, and I'm praying and hoping for a reply. Ariel♥Gold00:24, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Yours too? Well, I originally declined an RfA in June or July because I wanted to finish my thesis first -- I thought it would take two weeks. I'm almost done it now! And Phaedriel is certainly missed. Hopefully she'll come back soon. -- Flyguy649talk00:29, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Test edit. And a not-so-subtle prod that we are now on the eighth of November. That's almost 1/4 of the way! I(talk)02:07, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Well, that was two days ago, on the 8th, and he got two warnings, he hasn't done anything since. I'd just shrug it off. If you're doing recent changes patrol, you'll get plenty of nonconstructive edits done to your pages, just revert, and warn. Would you like to read my essay on Recent Changes patrol to get more information about it? You can find it here if you want to (I'm not sure if you've read it or not). You did a good job, in situations like that, just stick to template notices, and watch to see if the person repeats it. I think you handled it well! Ariel♥Gold17:16, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
Of course I don't mind! Any and all input is welcomed, at some point I'd like to put it up live, but for now it is languishing in my userspace, lol. Thanks Tom! Ariel♥Gold21:53, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

Indeed, laptop has not been working to well. If you look at my edit count (link under 'useful links' on my userpage) you will see I average 1000+ edits a month until I met my current girlfriend, whereupon its about 300 SGGHspeak!17:40, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
LOL! Well, granted, she deserves more time than Wiki, but at the same time, we can't live without you, so perhaps a balance can be found, ~*Giggle*~ Anyway I'm glad to see ya! Ariel♥Gold17:45, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
Awww, you're sick? I was sick a couple weeks ago, nasty flu, ugh! And no problem with the image, my pleasure. Feel better soon! Ariel♥Gold00:27, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Regardless, doing something like this is not helpful, as I mentioned, I would really encourage you to stop placing banners like that, and use the {{usernameconcern}} template. You can not just edit another editor's userpage because you are personally offended by the name. Leave a usernameconcern, allow them time to respond, and then take it to WP:RFCN for discussion, that is the proper way to handle it, not by tagging their page with a Nazi banner. Please review the policies and guidelines, Thanks. Ariel♥Gold18:36, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
Thank you

Dearest Ariel Gold,
Thank you for forgetting to participate in my RFA, which closed successfully with 137 supports, 22 opposes, and 5 neutrals. Your kind words of congratulations are, however, very much appreciated all the same. I would like to give special thanks to The_undertow and Phoenix-wiki for their co-nominations. Thank you again and best regards.
Done with the Texas one. The "Scouting in state" articles are in really bad shape. I'm going through them looking for certain things right now. You can go work on the Texas one now. Thanks for the help. — Rlevse • Talk • 19:19, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
That one is in particularly bad shape, lol. Spacing issues, naked URLs in article space, they should all be put into refs, IMO. I'll take a look and see if I'm feeling like spending hours on it, lmao. Ariel♥Gold19:20, 10 November 2007 (UTC)

On 11 November, 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Les Parrott, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

I notice you just gave me a final warning about my edits to Lewis Hamilton. I will find a citation to the article to which i am refering and then i will make my edit once more. hope this is ok. many thanks. [[--79.72.17.4301:08, 11 November 2007 (UTC)]]
Thanks Ariel Gold for your kind comments. I very much admire your ability to assume good faith above and beyond the call of duty, and you know what, I think it might actually be the best approach. I admit that I came on here tonight and my early edits were unquestionable vandalism, but now as a result of your faith in me I am left wanting to make a positive contribution to this site; a site from which I have acquired much knowledge in the past. Thanks and keep up the good work! --79.72.6.6502:34, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
I'm really, very glad to hear that. I do hope you'll review the guidelines and policies, and while I realize that there are a lot of them (heck, I still find new ones!), just some basics is all that is needed at first, and really, when you think of the project, I mean, this is a repository of knowledge, for the future, what a wonderful thing to contribute to! I think that's just a really spiffy thing to be involved in. I hope that you find your way here, and if you ever need help pointing you in direction of a guideline or policy, feel free to ask! Cheers, Ariel♥Gold02:38, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Hey, I just noticed the barnstar you left on the awards page, thank you so much! I would have thanked you on the IP talk page, but it seems your IP rotates quite often. You might want to think about signing up for a username! They have some benefits that IP editing doesn't. Thanks again! Ariel♥Gold18:07, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks! XD

Of course, the thing I didn't mention when responding to your last post on my talk page was that I had to rollback those edits and block those accounts all on dial-up. :) Acalamari19:36, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
ROFL! Oh poor Acalamari. I do feel for you, truly. If you ever have to do mass rollbacks, and want a helping hand with them, let me know, I can start from the bottom and we can meet in the middle, lol. Would probably go faster that way. I've had a few times when mass rollbacks were needed, I remember one SPA that spammed over 200 articles with the same URLs and self-published book as a ref, and they all had to be rolled back, oy! lol. Holler if you ever want a hand with something like that! Ariel♥Gold19:40, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
Ah, I'm all right. :) Anyway, the advantage satellite and dial-up have is that they are slow enough for you to go into a contributions log, and press "rollback" on several pages very quickly. :) The pages don't even need to be fully loaded for the rollbacks to be successful. Thanks for the note about the afc templates. I was aware of them and I use them occasionally, but sometimes I find it easier to type out my reasoning by hand. Again thanks for the note. TonyBallioni20:00, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

I use Lupin's anti-vandal tool. When I use it, I get large lists of vandal and mistaken vandal edits. That night, I was getting any edits. No mistaken or real vandal edits. I guess things are different on IRC. I'll try a tool that links to IRC for a reference now. --EoLtalk01:03, 12 November 2007 (UTC) I also noticed another editor said the same thing I did here. --EoLtalk01:05, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
Oh, yeah Lupin's is not the best way to tell what is vandalism and what isn't at a glance, the IRC feed is a lot better to figure out activity for the level, for sure. There are a number of other tools, but just straight IRC monitoring works well to figure out what the levels are. Cheers! Ariel♥Gold01:09, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Alright, although it really doesn't matter to the average reader, what order they appear in the list, I'll make the changes to the list order. Ariel♥Gold01:09, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

Hi there, My bookmarks were trashed, and I lost some important tools. Was wondering if you have a link or something, I'd truly appreciate it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hourick (talk • contribs)
Hi Hourick, you can click on "Bookmarks" at the top of this page to see a lot of them, but they aren't all that organized. Another great resource is the Editor's index to Wikipedia, which is probably the most comprehensive list of links. Hope that helps! Ariel♥Gold02:36, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

No, you are removing mass amounts of content, and the three tags, references, in universe, and plot. You did not improve the references, you did not alter the text to fix the in-universe issues, and removed over half the article's content. As I explained on your talk page, you should discuss mass removals of information with other editors on the article's talk page, before making such drastic changes. I realize you're addressing the long plot issue, but to blank out the majority of the plot, is probably not the best way to go about it. A better way would be to summarize, paraphrase, and condense the section, so that the context remains. Thanks. Ariel♥Gold04:40, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
the existing plot summary is a condensed version of what i removed, second the claims of inuniverse can only apply to what i removed as for unreferenced this appears to be from a much earlier version of the article and all the major claims like the movie adaption are now reference just noone bothered to remove it.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.26.98.80 (talk) 05:17, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
