editHello, 75.52.186.148. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.
All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.
If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:
- Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
- Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
- Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
- Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.
For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Tgeairn (talk) 02:07, 19 September 2013 (UTC)

editHello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.
Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 02:55, 19 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. editHello, I'm I am One of Many. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Dextroamphetamine, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.
Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Dextroamphetamine. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Acroterion (talk) 05:22, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

Block me? LOL. I'm only trying to help Wikipedia by enhancing its content and shaving off the candy-coated fluff. You stance of bellicosity is unnecessary and strange.
References
editPlease use high quality references per WP:MEDRS such as review articles or major textbooks. Note that review articles are NOT the same as peer reviewed articles. A good place to find medical sources is TRIP database Thanks.

And please stop referring to the removal of unsourced edits as "trolling." It isn't. Acroterion (talk) 05:25, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
Okay. Sorry.
Please tell me the format in which you desire my citations. I am medically educated, by the way. You are not dealing with a fool.
- Please see WP:CITE for a general discussion of citation formats. If you look at a featured article like Lung cancer you can see how they're integrated into the article. We don't think you're a fool at all, but Wikipedia holds medically-related articles to a high standard, so we'd appreciate the help in citing sources for any new additions, and in cleaning up existing text. Acroterion (talk) 05:31, 28 November 2013 (UTC)
I honestly understand. I am just time-constrained, but I shall give it my best. High standards or nothing is my own policy. I shall create a user account in time. Thanks for not being snide.
I am correct in assuming pubmed is considered an objective source? Yes?
OKAY: HERE IS THE DEAL: I am time-bound in my leisure activity and honestly cannot hold down my job and simultaneously provide the time-consuming citation work all of you so righteously desire. Therefore, I propose: Acroterion can revert the article(s) to AS THEY WERE; but PLEASE GIVE ME A CHANCE when I do have the time to improve the article(s) as I see fit. Thank you. I shall also create a user account here because apparently this I.P. is very stigmatized or hacker-ridden or something.
Best wishes.

Your edits on Talk:Dextroamphetamine
edit Please stop using talk pages for general discussion of the topic. They are for discussion related to improving the article; not for use as a forum or chat room. If you have specific questions about certain topics, consider visiting our reference desk and asking them there instead of on article talk pages. See here for more information. Thank you.
Please read WP:TPG for information on the appropriate use of talk pages. Seppi333 (talk) 13:53, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
Your edit to Dextroamphetamine
editPlease stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Dextroamphetamine. Your edits have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Please cite sources and stay on topic in the article. Seppi333 (talk) 14:11, 30 November 2013 (UTC)
I'm stopping freely, my peer. I have no feudal overlord, BTW. In any case, until Wikipedia figures out how to attain standards of integral objectivity, I from this point on sail dead straight into the Arctic waters of oblivion... I do not require "secret police control", thank you, peer and Sir.

- For rejecting the untouchable dogmas and hermeneutical a priori of modern Western civilization, Wikipedia, as a "democratic experiment" in "grass roots populism" especially upholds, the soothing oils of ethical relativism and philosophic "pluralism", you are hereby sentenced to summary martial law execution as an unlawful combatant of the mind, thus more deadly than any armed traitor to Divine Democracy. Best wishes.

I do not believe the "jurists" of Wikipedia are exempt from the same fallen earthly humanity the rest of us share - tacit agendas, unspoken motors of motivations exist abundantly. Hasbara agents notably take the cake hereabouts - I apologize if objectivity hurts the feelings of the sensitive. I do not believe in Aryanism nor in Zionism, nor in any supremacist ideology.
I have noted to my dismay the electronic activities of those who have, with great effort apparently, attained my status as UT-LAGATUS now; I was banned EXACTLY the moment I was almost finished registering for a legitimate account, thus eliminating "I.P."-related confusions; banned merely for an innocuous and facetious display...not spamming any public article dedicated to a topic, hurting or harming NO ONE...
An editorial systemic in-group tunnel-vision, in-group mutual "self-help" protection structure, and in-group perspectival bias is, politely, not hard to detect to the observant eye. I simply ask: How can one receive a "fair trial" under these circumstances?
Before I begin to "vindicate" myself (a generosity I shall grant if impartiality truly exists), shall my "trial" be exactly the duplicate of my "pretrial"? ... wherein nothing but the opposite of a balanced jurisprudence subjected me to a sardonically mocked piece of "justice", editorial prejudice openly and proudly voicing intent and goal of the online equivalent of predetermined judicial murder, my foregone sentence of death incapable of being altered, before I even offered a word...?
If I just could have finished registering, no more problems would exist and you fellows would have a contributor of quality on here... Is there a way I can prove myself, if allowed to register, and then all of you can see the SOURCED, SUBSTANTIATED and STYLISTICALLY/LEXICALLY more refined contributions I can make...? And if I then fail, I can just be permanently banned.
Wikipedia, Unveiled as it is here
editI have analyzed this (assumptive unitary actor) I.P.'s edits.
Nothing to warrant the treatment meted out to this individual. The individual presents with atypical personality traits, but often the edits are unconventionally insightful far beyond typical editors of Wikipedia. The individual seems to have behaved sharply or acerbically in uncivil fashion, only when being purposely rudely baited into doing so - not as agent of aggression. The sense of humor shows dark irony and other things, but nothing like the above would suggest - as if criminal.
I see this on "banned" users so much, I doubt I shall be visiting this site overlong the merited due created by its own controlling staff of honestly, ill-willed-seeming authoritarian personality types.
If some person is not common, uncommon is not criminal.
If some person breaks taboos of modern politics but is otherwise insightful (the editor very stupidly states, this I.P. is guilty of unintelligibility - I understand everything the person typed - the problem is on the other side of those not equipped at this banned, outlawed and mob-murdered person's mental level, frankly).
Wikipedia has really undermined itself in cases as shown here... All too frequently, daily almost - O well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:304:B34B:A940:7D57:797D:B38E:2C64 (talk) 05:37, 19 April 2015 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
